I was not a customer, rather the next door neighbor. While working on the next door neighbor’s trees, I saw this company’s trucks backing in and out of my driveway several times. It’s a narrow New England hill, I get it. But then they broke my house’s sign (I’m going to say “likely broke” since this is not someone who comes across as stable).My neighbor gave me their info, I called and politely asked them to fix it. The owner showed up unannounced at my house and was quite rude, lots of explanations and excuses. I was uncomfortable and didn’t feel safe so I let it go and decided to just fix it myself. Out of the blue, he sent me this text tonight. I’d strongly suggest any homeowners reconsider working with someone this unprofessional.

James Ballou and his team are wonderful to work with and highly skilled at the incredibly hard job that they have. James is a great leader and pays close attention to detail. I highly recommend James and his team for any tree removal.

James and his team were great! We were impressed with his knowledge of the trees in our yard and gave professional advise on which trees to remove/ prune. His price was reasonable, the work was quick and professional. I’d absolutely reach out to him again if we needed additional work In the future. Highly recommend! 🌳

They came out cut down a tree that a phone down during the storm it was supposed to come back and take the stump out never came back never returned any calls never finished the service which was paid for and never even provided an invoice which was the question for the insurance company Im going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau if it doesnt come back out and finish the job which is located at 615 Jerusalem Road you guys know who you are you have company you paid for it you got paid for a job never finished it come out and finish it or give me my money back or Ill file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Saw their sign on my street so I decided to phone to get an estimate to remove a dead tree. The mailbox was full.Ultimately came by and gave me an estimate. Months have passed and phone calls to undertake the removal have never been returned.A review was also put on the SL Facebook page. This action elicited a abusive and incorrect responses from SL.
