I absolutely LOVED this store! The staff welcomed you as soon as you walked through the door, and they remained polite and helpful throughout the entire process. The store is very clean and well organized. They carried a large selection of all size clothing and each section was clearly marked. The aisles are wide enough for parents with a stroller to easily get up and down. I took 6 bins of my Granddaughters clothing in to sell and they took the majority of it, so I left very satisfied and with some $$. The entire process was a breeze! Whether youre shopping or selling, I highly recommend

Their return policy sucks and they dont automatically apply the store credit that is on your account. Id much rather buy new from the actual retailer (while on sale) and have much more flexibility with returning things.

If you are a shopper here, its a great place. If you are trying to bring anything there, its a scam. No I dont expect much for all the name brand things that they seek, but being up there bringing quality Converse, vans, dresses, things with tags on it, boots, coats, I mention a wooden dollhouse that is three stories high, and their eyes gleaned, I asked you they have any idea and they said oh they would have to contact the owner just bring it by. Well it ended up raining and I brought the massive dollhouse with every single thing including two Barbie cars which I also asked if they accepted, they took another pair of converse once I cleaned them, literally was lured in because theres no way I was going to be able to put that back in my car and do that all over again and put right back in my garage. This is my third experience at this place and every time I swear a cuss word has come out because its a complete scam but this was the first time I was ever told to bring something as if it would benefit me. I much would have rather this dollhouse go to a girl, in Need for free. I told them from the get-go that elevator didnt work well, there was one missing screw, but everything was perfect. I have photos app on photos of proof. I set the dollhouse up for them and everything, they made me wait, changing of course whos in line first and the rules day by day or at least moment-by-moment of when Ive been up there. $29, I just didnt even want to deal with it anymore. For whatever little girl ends up getting that dollhouse, you get that price down as low as you can get it. Or smash it if your a parent. I donate so much stuff, I should have taken that route with this for $29 there could have been a happy girl with a full-blown three-story wooden dollhouse with every piece of furniture batteries for the toilet and the piano, a baby in crib, bed couch, I could go on. This place is a scam and do not sell your items here. The girls who work there all seem to be pretty consistent, except for the new one she was the nicest, and when I say the girls are consistent I mean consistent in their consistency like theyre trained to know exactly what to say when you look at the number they gave you. Donating is such a better feeling than walking out of that hell-hole. Again, as a customer totally different aspect. But they said they had to call the owner, so apparently its the owner that calls the shots. They took photos showed to the owner.. after literally convincing me to bring this dollhouse up there. $29. It was about a $400 house, dont tell me you tried to do a third the price and a percentage of that, I already knew for my experiences thats not the way it worked. I regret every piece I brought up there and next time I will be posting or holding onto any piece that takes up room that my child outgrows for a girl in need before getting scammed. Yes, they did tell me to bring it up there, its not like it was some random thing. When I said it was wooden they acted like it would be great even though I did say the elevator doesnt move up and down easily, and again one missing screw that either easily be replaced but really has no effect on the house. This place needs to go, it looks like they are trying to do good by giving us low prices as shoppers but really they are making bank off the people who are getting rid of things. Someone needs to make a real business like this, the problem is there is too few for childrens items of these types of stores. Whoever the owner is, if you really were on the other end of that phone, your girls did me wrong and apparently so did you. I dont care how long this review was, Ill make sure it goes elsewhere also

Went in there and wasnt aware of a coupon they had in store when I got to the register I felt like I got the jackpot since I grabbed quite a few items. Then went back in for something else and walked out with more clothes! I felt like I was addicted. Love this place also nice and clean and people are so nice.

I had a great experience at Kids to kids. I was able to sell a view items and get store credit. I bought two really good condition items with that credit. It saved me a ton. I loved that they also walked my items to the car, being that I am pregnant. Good customer service!

I was there primarily to sell some of my kid’s clothing items. There were a few other people there for the same purpose. The helpers were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. I even took time to look for a few items to purchase for my daughter. I found shorts and jeans that my daughter really needed. All the clothing items were clean, cute and reasonably priced. Kid to kid is the place to shop!

I visited Kid to Kid to sell and look at bigger sizes for my growing toddler. Upon entering the store, all popular items are displayed as you’re walking in such as western wear, bathing suits and Easter theme clothing. As I walked to check in and get my items sorted, I was immediately greeted and given instruction on checking in and how to place items for review. I walked around and looked at store merchandise and was greeted another 2 times. Once they were finished with my purchase, they called me and asked if I had items to purchase as well (which I did.) I love that they place my unwanted items in a bag for me, (I’ve been to other places where they leave your unwanted items in the bin for you to place back in your own bag which they sometimes tear. It’s terrible!) They thanked me for my visit and encouraged I look out for text messages regarding upcoming discounts, also advised me of most popular items they’re purchasing. Very friendly staff!I do have to say however that the quality of the resell items are a bit on the very worn side. I remember when the store first opened with much better quality in clothing (it could also be that toddlers destroy their clothes vs babies.) It just seems more like an organized thrift store instead of a pre selected resell shop.

Its a very nice and organized store, but dont expect to get a lot in return for your items unless they are in season. But the clothing you can purchase there is very nice and reasonably priced as well.

If youre selling, dont go with the call you with an offer option. If you cant make it on the day they call they keep the money and your clothes. It was a waste of time.

The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. As long as you understand which items they accept and which items they dont, then you will have a nice selling experience. I also find great items for very little, like a pair of Vans I bought here for $14! I will definitely be returning soon. :)

Kid to kid Atascosita is the absolutely best kid to kid I’ve ever been to. Everything is organized and clean, customer service is wonderful! Love that place!

It really is a hit or miss here. I know when I prep my clothes to bring here, I wash, iron and fold them nice and neat. Sometimes Ill even take them to a dry cleaner beforehand if I dont have the time to it myself. Anyway. I took about 30 pairs of jeans and dress pants. All clean. And ironed. I understand they are picky about what they choose to keep but at least have the decency to be respectful to your customers who try to comply with your requirements of cleanliness.. I say this because the girl oing through my batch literally threw the ones they were not interested in, back into the bin... Like nothing.. Did not refold... did not care to wrinkle them... when they called me up to give my my offer on the ones they wanted. She said that they couldnt accept the other ones due to the year they were made.... I checked the tags and couldnt find the year they were made. I was so confused.

Yesterday a bought a Matilda set for $22 dollars thinking it was an outfit when a get home I found it it was a pijama I couldn’t go back because already was late . Today I went back I explain the manager that I don’t want a pijama I thought it was an outfit. She says I remember you from yesterday buying this and no I can’t no take back I can buy this for 8 dollars . I told her I don’t want the money back I will buy something else let’s just exchanged and she is not I can’t do that I give you 8 dollars in store credit is all I can do . I was really ? I have the ticket, the product with all the store tags I didn’t remove anything and showing her day and time I couldn’t change her mind so . She rather have a bad review and lose a customer. I understand this is a resale store however in some situaciones it’s acceptable to get agreements . I will never ever coming here again . Very disappointed.

Store closed at 7pm and we literally stay up to 7:40 choosing items and the cashier ladies where extremely patient and kind with us, and we werent the only ones shopping so that was really nice from them

When I first walked into the store I was greeted by a friendly staff member. All staff members were friendly and very helpful! I found some fun and unique toys and outfits for my nieces and nephews. Had a great experience and highly recommend you visit this location.

Hope the owner can let me know what they think.Been here several times, today could have been easier, I figured they may have changed some procedures with Covid19. I walked in the store asking if they could let me have a bin. The lgirl said they couldnt let me have a bin. Ok I have it all in a bag r u ok with bringing it in? She said no we dont take bags, I know but I can bring the bag in and then dump it into a bin onyea thats fine. When I came in she magically forgot everything she had said and the cashier walked over and had me take the bags out of the store. So I asked the question in reality twice just to make sure she was answering right. Like I said I had been here several times. The girl I hadnt seen. This could have been so much easier with put the extra stress if the girl would have been a little more accepting to her mistake. But noooo she had never said that it was OK to bring the bags in. After I turned in my bunch to their liking I was called to the front. Remind you I am the only man in the store and it was in my name they call me to the front when they were looking at me over towards the back. When I got back to the register they tell me I just wanted to see if you were still in the store really I am the only man that has come in and you were looking at me when you called my name. Obviously this was a form of pay back just to get back at me. Not to mention the price that was provided I am sure I was shorted. Plus as I remember they accepted donations now she tells me they dont even when the computer says they do. Why dont they just pay and update their system. But it is all good everyone gets theirs.

We go here for all of our selling. my son outgrows many of his things and they buy anything thats in season or clean. The process is pretty painless and the you can wait in store or have them call when they are done choosing what they are buying, which can take time if the person ahead of you brought more then 2 boxes full. I do wish they had a list of things that they wont accept (if any). Overall we enjoy coming here.

Just drove a truck full of stuff home. My wife called ahead about a stroller and was told that it had to be clean. She explained that it had a quarter sized stain. When we arrived she was told by the entitled teenager behind the counter that they did not accept anything with any stain. My wife explained to the kid behind the counter that she had called ahead. The clerk told her that no one who worked there would have told her that on the phone. We decided to just leave. We’re honest people and don’t do business at any retail store where the clerk is going to call us liars. This was a complete waste of our time and it was frankly embarrassing. No feeling like trying to be frugal and being treated like trash.

We have liked shopping here.We have had good luck finding shoes, shorts, shirts, etc for our toddler here.And it is for sure much cheaper than buying new!All items we have purchased have been in great shape and have held up well.

I love this store. Except. . . They reject 90% of anything Ive brought in. One reason is the clothes HAVE to be practically ironed flat. No wrinkles or folds whatsover. Theyre literally trusting that people have washed these items. . . Another reason is because they had a lot of the same pattern. . . Or they just dont like the style. They tell me theres wear in the knees of some jeans I bring in and my son doesnt even crawl. Ever. It was literally the wash style of the jeans. They wont take anything with a single thread sticking out of anything I have. BUT. I have PURCHASED items with missing buttons, threads popping out, etc. And some definitely not pristine. Its a second-hand shop and they try to act as if they will take and sell nothing that looks any less than brand new. I love the idea this shop is trying to convey and I still will purchase clothing for my toddler here, but the whole consignment thing doesnt work out well if you dont have top brand stuff to give them. At least in my personal experience.

Excellent Service

Customer service was amazing, store was neat and organized, and there were so many items! The reason 3 stars were given was because there were some clothing items with new tags on them & the prices that they put were higher than the tags. From the little time that I was there I saw at least 3 items and that was just me dabbling and not really looking for anything. I was able to -semi- understand a pair of shorts that were from Ross with the tag saying from 12.99 to 2.99 but Kid to Kid had it priced at 5.99. Pricing should definitely be looked into the clothing though.

Very hit or miss on selling your items! It depends on the employees working that day on what they will purchase from you. The standard doesn’t seem set and they are inconsistent in the requirements. I took several name brand items and boutique items in they would not accept. Out of the big box of clothes I took they decided they were unacceptable because one item was apparently from Walmart with the tags still on the outfit. I called ahead and they said they take anything clean, in season and without any stains yet they did not accept them. It’s a waste of time going here..

I went in today to sell some clothes my little one is too big for. I also took things my mom bought from there that she only wore once maybe twice. They said there was too much wear. FYI they look just as she bought them. So I will not be going back there

I have been super disappointed by this location the 3-4 times I have come. Their prices are more expensive then amazon for the same products. On one occasion, I sold some things and while my kids were having a moment the lady insisted that I fold the items for her to look at them in a rude way. When I’ve sold items at other similar stores they just take the bag, and while I understand this is the policy (silly one btw), people should be more accommodating to moms, at a children’s store. Today I stopped to get some rodeo things. There is a sign about their rodeo unveiling, but they have racks in the front that aren’t labeled. The lady told me those items were not for sale. Btw the hats on amazon $5-$9. Their hats $8-$12. I’ve noticed their books and toys are more then amazon and look brand new (curious why they market as a consignment store). I won’t waste a trip anymore, l’ll use amazon from now on.

I have sold many items in several different occasions. Most of the time they are friendly and efficient. I agree with some of the other reviewers that about a month ago the customer service was poor. But I just went in today and they were back to their normal warm and friendly greetings and interactions

Myself and my family have done lots of business with kid to kid. The past few experiences have not been good and I will no longer be doing businesses with them. I sold them $117 worth of things about a month ago (so I brought in quite a few things) they didn’t say much when they were sorting through the items. They gave me a crate full of clothes back and a couple other items. I get a phone call the following day saying that I needed to come pick up my jumper in a few hours or they were throwing it in the trash. My jumper was placed behind their counter when I brought the things in to sell to them. So I assumed they purchased it. I mean you would to if it was placed behind their counter right? A couple weeks later I went in to buy more clothing from them. I spent $89.00 so I received some kind of kids cash certificate 1 for every $30 I spent. The lady said to bring in my receipt with the two $5 certificates. Well I went in to try to use them and they said that I had to make a $20 purchase and then the $20 purchase turned into a $30 purchase. I read the fine print on things before I use it and nowhere on this certificate did it say any of that. In fact it said use like cash on ANY purchase. I asked to speak to a manager because if it didn’t say it on the certificate they can’t just make up some rules along the way. The girl called a lady and after she got off the phone she said sorry there is nobody you can talk to. It’s sad because I normally can find some really nice things in here but if this is what kind of business they want to run I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

Great store, staff is always friendly! I just bought a great pack n play, unfortunately after I bought it I saw the exact same one at burlington for a cheaper price. Oh well I will still return and hopefully I can find some other good deals here. I recommend following the Facebook page, they send updates on new arrivals!

I came in last week and spent a considerable amount of time laying the clothes i planned to consign in a neat and orderly fashion as suggested by their policy. As the girl was doing the presort she shoved all the unwanted stuff back into my tote instead of laying them as they were. I thought it was pretty rude and inconsiderate of my time but shrugged it off. I was told it may take a few days to get to them and to receive an offer; I agreed and went about my day. Got a phone call at 5pm that afternoon with a low ball offer. I declined the offer and informed them i would pick up. My 10 month old had not been feeling well and she had a well check with her doctor on Thursday so i planned to pick up the clothes after her appointment which was within the 72 hour window they give you. I called that morning to give them a heads up and picked up at noon. My daughter received 3 shots that morning and i was trying to get her home to be comfortable so i picked up my belongings and headed home. Over the course of the weekend i realized they had not given me my changing table pad back so I called first thing this morning (Monday). Hannah said she would speak to the Manager, took my name and phone number and said she would call me back asap. Its 5pm now and after no call back i called up to the store only to be told by the manager it was donated. I explained to her it was not with the other belongings and i was in a hurry that day. Had it been with the rest of my things i obviously would have taken it home with me. It was in immaculate condition as our was never used and they basically stole it from me to resale it. Horrible customer service, terrible management and i will be sure to tell every one!!!!!

You would be better off selling your clothes online. They always tell me there are stains on the clothes I have brought in. I always go through and check every item before even thinking about bringing it in. Half of the stuff in the store is always dirty and stained or missing buttons. Dont waste your time. Not to mention the had some exercausers on the shelf that were filthy for 49 dollars. I went to Walmart and bought the exact one for 49 dollars brand new.

Store was very neatly organized by size, clothing type, and color. This was my first visit and I had kids with me so it was a short one. Ill definitely be back!

I was sold a craddle swing for when my newborn grandchild came for a one week visit. When I went to return the swing to sell back I was told that its condition was not acceptable. I cleaned it when I received it...it was used a handful of times and even though it showed no additional wear, I cleaned it before it was returned. It was fine to sell to me but unacceptable to take back. I chose to give it to a woman walking in to purchase a swing.

I brought my stuff in and was told it would be ready in 30 mins, after staying in town for 3 hours still never heard from them. Then I called and they said it would be ready in the morning, got there at 2 in the afternoon and they still didnt get to it. Told me that if you leave you lose your place in line, even though I was never told that when I brought stuff in. I did tell the ladies at the register that I was leaving the store because I had to go and nurse my child.

My first experience was great, they have a lot of nice and inexpensive things to choose from.

We had the opportunity to visit the Atascocita Kid to Kid recently while in town for our grandchildren. We sold some clothes and took store credit to replace them. The process was fast and efficient and we got some great new items for their wardrobe. Love Kid to Kid.

This review is for the people resaling, do not bring your name brand stuff or items that are vibrant in color to this location because they won’t buy it. If you have some not so fashionable items that look practically worn this is your place. The lady that does the buying obviously has no fashion sense cause she always picks the plain Jane items over the pricy items. I saw a pair of Uggs that look like someone walked through the water in and they had those out for sale... WTH.The items they sale are slightly above Goodwill value...the Goodwill in the same shopping center might just have better items than this place. I’ve had a credit here for months...

Idk why Walmart prices is cheaper. If youre on a budget youll be better off buying brand new clothes. Only thing with good prices is the kid toys and furniture.

I took my clothing in yesterday at 5 PM on a Friday. I was told they couldnt give me a offer until the morning due to the system at 6 PM. She went through the clothing passing on all names brand clothing because she was unaware of these items. Anyways she put clothing to the side and told me shed call in the morning. Mind you I was the only customer at the store this time so that would make me first in line for a am offer . I called at 11 a few hours after being open and I was told several people are ahead of me. Smh. Anyways back to leaving my items. I asked for a invoice because I was leaving clothing and a $200 pair of jordans behind. I was told they dont give a invoice. The lady throw a toddler fit because she couldnt understand why Id want something stating the number of items I was leaving. All I wanted was a number it didnt have to be itemized. After another employee did this I left the clothing. Ill never do business here again. Ill take my business back to once upon a child.

Probably best to just shop here and dont go the consignment route. After accepting clothes during the pre-sort process, they called a few days later asking me to re wash the clothes due to a strange smell. During the return visit, they didnt even accept all of the clothes from the first time because they were overstocked on some items. I went back a 3rd time to collect my cash offer only to find out I only had a store credit because I didnt collect the cash in 3 days. Read the fine print folks. Or just shop here. I was better off just donating the clothes because the cash offer wasnt worth the gas and time.

My fiancé and I went in there because we’ve heard so many great things, however it was a very disappointing, they were so rude ! my fiancé is a different race than me and they kept staring at him as if he was going to steal something ! Dont try to sell your items to them. The young girl there stole my daughters items. They make you leave your stuff, take over a week to call back and then your stuff mysteriously just disappears and no one knows where it went! An entire rubbermaid tub full of clothes too! They treat you like 2nd class citizens if you are selling as well. Wouldnt buy brand new Motherhood Maternity items that still had tags which was nicer than anything they had on the rack! I couldnt believe the way one girl spoke to me about being in the wrong line and its clear theres no management at times. Every single time I have gone in to buy, the bathroom is out of order. They have some good deals on clothes and other items sometimes but after that last visit we decided to never go back. I expected discounted merchandise but not discounted treatment.

This place took 2 pairs of pants my wife brought up there to sell so they stole from us. There justification for when we asked were the pants were are we have cameras. They had us put all the abc puzzle together which was very easy and quick but they gave us such a low buying price of 3 dollars for everything. We refused the offer and were not givin our stuff back as we had given it to them to buy. They have to many ppl coming in there to sell things to them so they lowball you on your stuff. We wont go back there and as we were walking out the lady over heard us and too had the same expierence . She had items missing that were really nice stuff and she had alot so she said they probably figure that i over looked them cause thers were so many. They stole from here she said. Just look out if you bring anything to them

Im so disappointed in this place its not even funny. Last weekend this place had cc machine issues while having the $1 sell. So me and 6 other customers had a lot of clothes in our baskets that the manager said they would hold for us throughout the week. Today is exactly a week and I call to make sure my items were still on hold and they told me all of them were put back. When I got a call on Wednesday by an employee she and the manager ensured me that my items would stay on hold til Saturday. I feel they should take responsibility for the issues they had and keep their word. Instead they handled the situation poorly. They will not be receiving my business anymore.

Went here with my daughters old clothes (nb-6 months) that she only wore once and some that she didn’t wear at all with tags on them and they told me they couldn’t take it because of the clothes condition which didn’t make sense to me and they were all name brand and she stated they weren’t. Awful experience for me

Dont waste your time!! I brought in several items, including 2 pair of barely worn Nikes, childrens place jeans with the tags still on and several pieces of brand new items. I was offered $10. Ive sold clothing items before to Once Upon a Child and always felt like I was getting a fair deal. Not the case with Kid to Kid.
