We were shopping for an entire house of appliances as we are building a home for our retirement. We started with Plaza Appliance Mart as we had previously uplifted our kitchen from them. We were pleased to see Donald was still at the Huntersville store. He was very helpful as we started our search. After visiting several additional stores, we returned to Plaza to make our purchases, as we felt we would receive the best overall service from this store. Donald again worked with us and gave excellent information as we had questions about several products. Everyone at the store was great and delivery was one time. There was a slight issue after install, but it was resolved quickly and after understanding the importance to us both Germaine and Curtis were very responsive and concerned about our happiness. How a company stands behind its work is at least if not more important than the buying experience and with that I wish I could rate higher. We will definitely be back!

Because of the National computer chip shortage, I had to wait 5 weeks for the Dryer, which was not the fault of Plaza Appliance Mart.When one arrived, I received a courtesy call from Marina, to let me know that they had a Dryer for me.The first Hotpoint (GE) Dryer did not run hot enough.When I called the store, they said that they had a replacement in stock.The next day, I received a new Dryer without any charge to me.The replacement Dryer works correctly.I am very happy with their customer service. Refrigerator shopping during the pandemic is a nightmare, and with the knowledge that so many are unavailable, I knew it would be tough. We started at two big box stores. The first had great service but no availability and the second had poor availability and also poor service. Plaza appliance made it easy to know what was available for every brand so that we knew all of our options. They really put up with my crazy as I over analyzed each feature of each refrigerator and never gave up. Damian was our sales person (super knowledgable) but the entire staff worked together to keep checking on us and answering our questions. As a professional in the housing industry, I know how important customer service is and they met the mark. The best news is that we will get a refrigerator next day thanks to their help. Im afraid I have lost faith in the future of the big box stores, but plaza appliance has gained my referrals.

We purchased Electrolux washer and dryer from Plaza Appliance in Huntersville N.C. Both were purchased November 2016. As a safeguard, we also purchased the extended five year warranty, bringing the total to approximately $3,000 dollars. We love the set and have not experienced any issues until now. Recently, the washer stopped draining and we were unable to get the door to open. Since we purchased the extended warranty, we were hopeful the issue would be easily resolved, so we thought. We contacted the warranty company, where they scheduled a local repair company (Tarheel Appliance Repair) to access the issue. Keep in mind, at the time the washer stopped functioning properly, it had a load of clothes. We were told it would be the following Monday before a technician would be available to perform repair. Unfortunately, the clothes had to remain inside the washer until then.Monday came, and so did the technician. The issues were diagnosed as being control module along with door latch. Now here comes the best part. The technician stated the company does not maintain Electrolux parts in stock, therefore, they would need to be ordered. The complete encounter from arrival, departure, along with diagnoses, took approximately eleven minutes, and he was gone. Fortunately, he was able to get the washer door open, so we could remove our foul smelling clothes.Two months later, our washer has not been repaired. After numerous calls to the warranty company (Warntech), I was told, they received one part but the other was on backorder. I reached out to Plaza Appliance to express my concerns in hopes they would understand my frustration, along with possibly providing guidance. Regrettably, all they could do was contact Warntech and Tarheel, which accomplished NOTHING! Then I learned, Plaza Appliance stopped using Warntech, due to numerous customer complaints. If I would have been informed of this prior, we would have reconsidered not acquiring the extended warranty.As a last ditch effort, I contacted Plaza Appliance corporate office. I was advised to contact Electrolux repair service. I did, explaining everything in grave detail. I was informed, I would be responsible for the repair costs, due to the appliances not being under the original one year factory warranty.June 25, 2021, the technician returned to replace the parts ordered a month ago. Unfortunately, this did not resolve our issues. A Code 5E was displayed on digital screen, meaning we needed two computer modules.July 8, 2021, I contacted Warntech to check on parts. I was informed they had no knowledge regarding the parts. Moreover, they needed two days to complete a parts request to determine the status. Well, back to square one. I am once again the owner of mint condition appliances that can’t be used.Throughout this entire tribulation, no person or company has stepped up to assist, nor assumed responsibility. However, as customers, we can’t anticipate exceptional customer service, with companies like Warntech and Tarheel Appliance Repair, when they both have numerous complaints reported to the BBB. It appears these companies, including Plaza Appliance have one thing in common. They are experts in turning away customers once they receive your money. Above all, that was my experience.

Dealing with Plaza Appliance was easy and quick. The salesperson was able to guide me through buying 4 appliances stating pros and cons for what I originally wanted. I appreciated his feedback and actually made a change on the type of one appliance I ordered. I also received a detailed, written proposal via email which was easily understood. I did price check and Plaza came in lower than two other large appliance stores. Lastly, the entire store wore masks - unlike the other stores I visited.

Our order for a dishwasher and combo-oven at a big box hardware store fell through (after being ordered and paid for 2 months) one week before our kitchen was to be demolished. Our Sales Rep, Damian, found both of the exact same models for us. One was a floor model which he personally verified as good as new.Everything was delivered in perfect condition exactly as requested. Installer showed up exactly on time. Installation was excellent.Lots of good follow-up calls from Plaza as well to verify everything was good.Definitely shop and recommend!

Customer service was excellent and I absolutely love my new LG washer and dryer. I was able to complete the entire process using my phone. The deliver process was just as pleasant. I had my items in 2 days!

Parts of my experience with Plaza Appliance Mart Huntersville were great, others not so much.The sales person did not seem to have a full knowledge of installation of my dryer and if the venting would work. I texted her pictures and she still had questions. I made the suggestion that an installer check to see if it would indeed work .This guy was great, looked at the laundry room and suggested an alternative way of venting which allowed me not to pay 129.00 to have the dryer modified. It took him less than 3 minutes! What PAM did not tell me, was that they were charging me a 60.00 delivery fee for him to look. So I had to pay the 60.00 delivery fee twice and it was not disclosed at any point during the sale.This is deceptive and was never mentioned until I was given the bill. Be careful about all the extra fees as they add up and are not always disclosed at Plaza Appliance Mart.

My experience with Plaza Appliance Mart has been absolutely horrific. Our brand new $2,500 Whirpool refrigerator was delivered with a broken drawer. While that wouldnt be typically be an issue (most stores would very quickly replace said broken drawer) dealing with PAM has been an absolute nightmare. They sent someone out to repair said drawer after 2 weeks (at that point we were just thankful anyone had shown up). The repairman did not fix the drawer. He brought the wrong size drawer, jury rigged it into our fridge, and then told my wife it was fixed. When I got home and realized this I called PAM to have them send someone back out to fix what hadnt been fixed(it literally falls off the rails). This was 5 weeks ago! After more than 5 weeks of calling and leaving messages to speak with either our sales person or the manager we still havent received a call back. Each time I asked to speak with a manager and have my issue resolved I was told by the rather rude call center woman that the manager was either 1. At lunch (this at 10:30am, and 3pm on back to back weeks) 2. left to go home early 3. in meetings all day 4. Not in the store and they didnt know why 5. or just plain not available via phone and I should leave a message. The lady today just hung up on me after I said I would happily wait on the line for the manager to return (I didnt not swear or call names, I merely asked her to please stop jerking me around and connect me with a manager) I called back to consecutive blow-offs before leaving another message.This is my first negative review of any business. I hate having to do it. But Im hoping that PAM is better at responding online than they have been over the phone. Im hoping that someone will actually reach out and deal with my issue. Im hoping that I could actually get a new drawer. But based on what Ive seen experienced so far, Im not expecting it.11/19/2020I received a response from PAM the same day I posted the initial review both online and via a phone call. I was told that the 3rd party vendor that fixes these issues would contact me and ensure this was taken care of. Its now 3 weeks later and I still dont have a drawer, nor any information about when I might get one.

Great Experience! I stopped by the Huntersville Plaza Appliance Mart store looking for a LG refrigerator I wanted to buy. They had the model is was interested in on sale, but none available in the store. They were able to get it from another Plaza Appliance Mart store and deliver it on the date I wanted it. The delivery team came on time and were very professional. They removed the old refrigerator and installed the new one in about 30 minutes (including time for us to clean). I will absolutely buy my next appliance from Plaza Appliance Mart. They are great!

I’ve used Plaza multiple times over the years and have always had great experiences. They carry higher lines of appliances and the employees have been more knowledgeable about the products than the big box stores. Their pricing has always been competitive as well.

7yo fisher and paykel washer broke again. Decided on a speed queen after reading reviews. Saw that plaza was only one around that sold them. Called them. Asked questions and the guy was knowledgeable. Not pushy. They were offering a 10yr warranty which is unheard of. Paid for it over the phone and promised delivery the next day. They said between 9-2. They arrived at 3 but were very nice guys and respectful to my home. The washer so far has been amazing. Got the TR3. Very old school style but strong and reliable which is what matters to me. They were just what I needed when I needed them.
