I get almost daily updates the repair process is quick and easy with them no hassle and no worries dealing with them, the staff is beyond spectacular, especially Sarah and Amanda those ladies are the greatest. Recently, I was involved with an accident, in which a corporate owned rig damaged my vehicle. The insurance company recommended Gerber Collision and Glass, an excellent recommendation for sure.The team worked efficiently, maintained constant contact with me via notifications, provided exceptional customer service, and above all... their repair work was well done. I was very impressed with their notification system, alerting me of the progression of the repairs (in which is optional). The agents working with me were The A Team as they call themselves, Amber and Amanda. They went above and beyond to assure all my needs would be met to my satisfaction. Truly appreciate their professionalism.The repair job was a day later than promised, only because they wanted to make sure the repair work was completed correctly, and didnt want to rush any details. We’ve had the unfortunate need to use Gerber’s twice in the last 6 months. The work they performed made our vehicles look like new. I don’t know if that’s really that big of a deal because that’s what body shops are supposed to do and we’ve had others do great work in the past. What set Gerber’s apart was their incredible customer service!! Marty is the manager and you can tell he runs a tight ship. He’s personable and gives you immediate confidence that you’re going to be satisfied. We received multiple updates throughout the process and received our vehicle back even faster than promised. It was a pleasure dealing with this company both times. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!!

My husband and I have both used this body shop numerous times when we’ve gotten into wrecks and they are a joy to work with. They always take care of the customer, do an excellent job of communicating and when they give you a timeline for the work to be completed they stick to that. We will continue to use Gerber and would recommend them to anyone.
I took my truck in to have some orange peal repaired. When I picked my truck it was covered in scratches from the buffer on all four doors and both sides of the bed. I told them that was unacceptable so they waxed to hide the scratches. Martin Handcock (general manager) told me it was good I would have to wax my truck about once a month with black wax to hide there bad work. Now i am having to take my truck to some one else that knows what they are doing and is going to cost me 600 to fix.
From start to finish, this establishment was top notch. I’m not a big review guy but after having such a poor experience with Allstate’s claims department, I felt the need to talk about how the group at Gerber sorted me out. Gerber was fast and communicative when I needed it the most. Unfortunately, Gerber collision kept communicating with me while Allstate didn’t help me at all and I needed Allstate to help me. From the first call with Amber to my last call with Amanda, they have been amazing. The crazy thing is that they didn’t even do any work on my car because it was a total loss and still helped me through the ordeal. My service here was amazing! I originally brought my car in to get the entire drivers side replaced after a accident, however I decided to just replace the door. They were kind and helpful every time I came in and always answered my questions. They made sure I understood everything and updated me on the process every step of the way. It was very reasonably priced and the work that they did was excellent. The paint on my new door matches perfect with the rest of my vehicle (gold) and even cleaned and vacuumed my car for me before I picked it up. I would recommend them to anyone after a car accident and am very satisfied with my service!
Excellent service. From the minute I took my car in to have it estimated to the time (only 3 days) I picked it up, they were awesome. They gave me constant updates on the status of my repairs. Excellent work, fast and friendly service! Took my F-150 to Gerber in Huntersville to get a couple scratches removed from the hood and rear passenger side door. Spoke to Amber on the phone who was very helpful, and after a quick estimate John White took the scratches out perfectly. Great attention to detail and customer service. I would highly recommend John and his team to anyone.
Communication was excellent and pleasant. They were hoping to have the work done in about 7 business days and they laid out a plan to get it done faster because I needed the vehicle for my business. Repairs look great. I took a different vehicle somewhere else earlier in the year and continue to regret it. Job well done on my most valuable vehicle.

I got into a minor fender bender a few weeks ago. A woman backed into me causing some damage to my bumper and rear light cover. I called my insurance and they said that Gerber Collision and Glass is a premium service center. I called Gerber and they gave me an estimate, took care of everything with my insurance and had it fixed in a day and a half. The work was beautiful. The staff is super nice and extremely helpful. The whole experience was seamless. I definitely recommend Gerber Collision and Glass.

Great personal service. Unfortunately, I had to have my Yukon repaired twice in a matter of months. First accident was extensive and all at Gerber were very helpful and thorough. Several months after repair my AC stopped working. Compressor was damaged in wreck. Took truck back and they worked with insurance to get it covered. Amanda remembered me asking about getting an upgraded grill during first repair. I hit a deer second time around and she made sure to order the grill I asked about in first wreck. That is customer service!

I hit a small deer one evening on the way home destroying the majority of my front bumper and a small section above the passenger side wheel well. Gerber was recommended by my insurance as a high quality repair team. So, I walked in Monday to get the estimate, and they walked me through the rest of the process. They even called Enterprise for me.They kept me updated the entire time on the status of my vehicle and it was ready for pickup within 4 days (picked it up Friday at noon).Im very pleased with the updates, friendly customer service, full explanation of what was going on and I even was able to drop my rental off at Gerber instead of trying to figure out a way to get it back to the Enterprise folks.I would definitely use them again, though I hope to not need them again in the future. I definitely recommend them to anyone needing body work. I own a sports car (2013 Dodge Challenger).
After being drove into all I wanted for my repair was to be a better end result. Ended up dropping my truck off for repair just to pick it up after I missed my scheduled appointment by 15 minutes due to traffic being so heavy. I was told because I was late Id have to wait two weeks before I could reschedule verses working with me. Customer service and communication were horrible!

Dropped in to see if they could remove a smear of house paint from of my fender where Id clipped the side of the garage door. They came straight out to the car, said it would be no problem and in 10 minutes the car looked like new. No charge, friendly wonderful service.

If I could give them a 0 i would. They are the worst place to take your car. Took my cobalt ss in because of a minor bump in traffic (my car rear ended an suv and hit the tail hitch at less than 5 mph). It put a small hole in the bumper, crinkled the hood a bit, and needed a new radiator support. They wrote it up to the insurance as a $4000 repair. The insurance would have totaled my car. I bought the parts myself at keystone and took it to another place. Cost $1100 in the end.

Im writing review today to explain and express my experience when I get to gerber collision and glass body shop. I was in a accident got my claim and everything was perfect until some thick broad named Amanda was talking to me. Talking to me with attuide, judging me for my blessed of a baby face when really Im 24. Thinking she can talk to me anyway she likes thinking I dont anything about cars. Pretty much gave me a estimate that didnt seem right to me. Then said my bumper would need to be evulated before they can actually fix it? No your suppose to fix it because it was the persons fault and thats what the insurance will do. Then I left thinking about if I wanted to work with these people I called couple days unfortunately I had Amanda pick up the phone.. my purpose of the phone call was just to ask a question. Not ask for your opinion In the grand scale in what I was trying to accomplish with my question. I asked her how much a simple door would be... she tried to say its already estimated and its in the insurance claim paper work okay?! Amanda was I asking that ? Then I re asked my question she gave me poor attuide and poor customer service. She said what are you trying to do pocket the money! With anger behind her voice? Excuse is that what I said or is that what u said? She hushed up then I asked arent u a body shop? Cant you just answer my question and tell me how much a door is?!? She Finley did cause she felt stupid cause she thought I had other intentions. Maybe she was upset cause she knew I wanted to pay out of pocket instead of using the insurance. Maybe she was going to probably lose some Commission on that estimate cause she knew I didnt wanna work with them who knows. I know I dont care. Its not enough reason to give me attuide! act like a woman not a girl. Your lucky I didnt make some conntection calls and get you fried and no I dont need the manger replying to this ad saying blah blah will make sure to do a investigation Im so sorry etc. No your not sorry. Left my truck sitting for 11days before they started any work on it, when they knew i was paying out of pocket for a rental car.Truck was shipped to mooresville location to do the actual repairs. Mooresville location is terrible, among other things somewhere along the line someone broke the cap/cover for my aux plug in the center console.Since everything nowadays is over engineered you need a special tool just to pull the cigarette lighter cylinder out to replace the cover, or take the panel off and remove it from behind. Talking to my insurance agent, the Huntersville location agreed to fix it free.When i got there i talked to the Tech and the manager, after they tried and couldnt fix it. Manager said he wasnt sure what to do and that he didnt really want to pay the dealership to fix it, then the Tech suggested taking a grinder (power tool that spins a cutting wheel and sends metal shavings and sparks all over the place) to it in my 50k mile, 2012 nice black leather interior truck....when i heard that i ran away as far & fast as i could.Paid $10 out of pocket to have someone local pull the panel so it could be fixed.First and last time i ever use a Preferred shop recommended by my insurance.
I have had two of my personal cars repaired here the first time was a Nissan Altima (about a year ago) that has been in a very minor accident. The service was good but they took two weeks to repair the car. I wrote that off as maybe the parts took a whole to come in. A few months ago my VW GTI was hit and i thought i would give them another chance since they partner with my insurance. Man was that a mistake. They again took two weeks to repair very minor damage. But this time when i went to pick up the car there were Small spots all over the hood and fender that had been repainted where you could still see the bare metal. The badge on the front of the car was still broken from the accident!! The supervisor who looked at the car with me seemed surprised making me wonder if anyone had even looked over the car before calling me. After another few days i was called back in and they again said it was done. It looked right this time so i took the car home. After driving it for a day i noticed a light was on saying that my front parking light was not working (prior to the accident it worked fine). I had my fiancé take the car back up there and when they liked at it they told her they didnt know whAt that light meant and they couldnt help her. THE CAR SAYS FRONT PASSENGER LOGHT NOT WORKING. How do you not know what that means. Needless to say they are frustrating to deal with and please make sure you look very close at any work that comes out of this shop before approving it.
Great place for body work. The wifes car got taken care of, then we found an area on the back hatch that was cracked and took the car back and they got it fixed asap.
11 months ago they repaired my car. They reclaimed their listing so i wanted to make sure this review followed them. 10 minutes after Gerber Collision & Glass repaired my car the engine blew. They claimed they did nothing and that it was something i did as they never touched the engine... Now im stuck with having to buy a new car or put a new engine in.
Expensive, slow, broke down after 500 miles. And it cost me more to finish that repair (

Had to get windshield put in twice, both times there was damage to the vehicle and had to take it to their Body Shop to have some molding replace, dents removed, I guess its luck of the draw on who you get to come out and do the work, but the guy worked with me on the phone, the district manager to try to make things right.
