First time here. Sicilian pictured was excellent warm sandwich. Decent pricing and very little wait, albeit ordered around 11 am which was not a rush period. Will definitely return.

Workers here are always sweet and make you feel welcome no matter how busy they are. Bagels are great and so are the cold cuts. They have a small work area without a griddle so keep that in mind, but the prices are like half of what I paid in Jersey so Im not gonna complain about the Microwaved sausage/egg. Great bargain and great people. So glad friends recommended me to this place. Keep up the great work!

What a great experience. Its been a long time since Ive experienced the kind of service that these women extend to their customers, whom they treat like family. My wife has brought food home from the Bagel Bin for years, this was my first time going in. They knew almost everyone that came in. They treated a little boy like he was their own and asked my wife where our daughters were, today. All of that and the food was fantastic. Id continue going to the Bagel Bin if the food was half as good. Its a bonus that its the best youll get anywhere. Thank you for being a part of our community.

Lunch at The Bagel Bin. Huge BLT. Amazing! Not going to be able to finish.The ladies working the counter were so friendly. And They gave me two pickle spears and lots of napkins. It’s like they already know me so well.

You can special order! These egg everything bagels are a Long Island favorite. We ordered a dozen a few days ahead since these are not normally in the regular lineup and my NY natives thought they were spot on. The deli side was also pretty on target.

Not only is the food amazing but the staff is too. My daughter and I stopped in for breakfast on our vacation at 8:30am on Thursday. The four ladies upfront were so welcoming, funny, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would reccomend everyone to stop in for awesome food and fantastic environment.

I remember going to this deli when I was a teenager and I still love coming to the deli even though it’s further away from where I live the staff is very friendly and always get my order right.

Food is mediocre at best and the service is disgraceful. The line was out the door- I had my sandwich in my hand waiting to pay and the girl at the register was talking on her cellphone to her mom- on speaker phone. Everyone in line was looking at each other saying “are you kidding me?” Definitely NOT recommended.

I went during a busy time, but the wait was ridiculous. The staff and manager make excuses for it - saying its made to order and not fast food, etc. - and in the meantime, the 5 employees working that day were too busy talking instead of focusing on the bagels. I enjoy that atmosphere where everyone is friendly and lighthearted, but when you have a line out the door for over an hour, itd be nice to see more of an effort. Ill be going to a different shop from now on. The bagels are fine, but just not worth the wait every time I go in.

Four staff members goofing off and watching videos on their phones when there is clearly a line and people waiting. Bagels were fine but the total disregard for customer service makes me never want to come back. I’ll find bagels elsewhere.

Bagels are good, but the service is awful. Employees are watching YouTube videos and playing on their phones instead of working. Then they have the nerve to ask for a tip! Ill take my business elsewhere next time.

Im from NJ... I knew I wouldnt get exactly what Im used to, but I managed those expectations and kept an open mind. I ordered a BEC on a bagel.. They MICROWAVE your eggs... they MICROWAVE BACON ... what?! NO, thats a sin.If I dont microwave my own eggs, Im not paying someone else to.The bagels are ok.

I absolutely LOVE Bagel Bin!! The staff is wonderful, the bagels are fresh, and the genuine NY flavor cant be beat!! Its my favorite place to get bagels in the entire LKN area!

I had seen this place throughout the years but never stopped by. Today I was going to the UPS store beside it and saw a line to get in. I asked a nice lady who was waiting if it was good. She is originally from up north (where apparently bagels are a big thing) and she gave this place the stamp of approval. We went in and she told me about the different bagels, sandwiches, etc that they have. The ladies who were working are so nice! This bacon, egg and cheese bagel I just devoured was so GOOD! I will definitely be back (not tomorrow like one of the ladies joked with me 😆😆).

Ive been coming here for nearly 14 years. The BEST bagels and excellent, realistic prices. support small business and shop here. I wish they would update the store for bigger service levels. Also, dont listen to all the cry baby people talking about no masks or whatever. if youre so consumed by fear, make your own bagels and stay home. its nearly impossible to maintain a 100% risk-free environment anywhere at all times. get over yourself. dont slam a small business because of this.

Was just what I was looking for all around!! Bagel and scallion cream cheese was soo delicious. Service was wonderful too!. The ladies are extremely nice, actually made my day as they were so kind and happy.

Both orders were incorrect. Asked for no onions, got onions and the wrong cheese. They don’t write down your order so you better hope they remember it & plan on repeating yourself a couple times. The employees behind the counter were busy talking about everything but work. If you like McDonald’s, you’ll love this place. The eggs are microwaved, the cheese taste like plastic, and the everything bagel is extremely salty. The danish tasted stale, similar to what you might find at a gas station. The girl behind the register clearly needs to be trained as she barely knew what she was doing. My mistake for not reading the bad reviews before I wasted 30 minutes of my day. Not worth your time or money.

I never leave reviews, but I am compelled to do so this time. I called in for 2 bacon egg and cheese bagels at 10:10am... was told they would be ready at 10:30- no problem; theyre busy. I get it.After standing inside at 10:30 and realizing every in-house order had priority, I knew I was screwed. I FINALLY got my two simple bagels at 10:47am. Yes- 40 minutes to get a bacon egg and cheese while everyone else waited a whopping 5 minutes.Ive been coming here for 15 years and watched the customer service get worse and worse, but today was the last straw. Absolutely abysmal service doesnt make up for good food.If you have a spare hour, this is the place for you. For everyone else with a life, and things they need to do- dont waste your time.

I absolutely love the bagels here but it’s very concerning that half of the employees do not wear masks. One wears a face shield with no mask which is actually comical and totally defeats the purpose. What is even more concerning is that they are now closed due to employees being tested positive for Covid. Hopefully after this they will actually take these protocols seriously and wear correct protective gear while serving food to the public, as their bagels really are the best.

Never again, at first my rating was going to be 2 stars because of the horrible customer service and hearing how the staff were cursing behind the counter, making derogatory descriptive terms toward none people of color. Myself and other customers were very uncomfortable. To make things worse, 2 of my 3 my bagels came out burnt. When I went to see if I could get them made over, the employee became loud and stated “well I cannot control the oven” .. I had to exit the storefront because I was upset and embarrassed (there were at least 5 other customers in the store). Very ... very ... very unprofessional. As a business owner myself, I would have never allowed my staff to converse or treat consumers like what I experienced.

Some of these reviews are BS ....they do wear masks except one with a health condition . Thwy also have plexi glass and glass across the whole counter . The virus isnt passed through food . People need to research more. Also I know they have had several New people because they cant find reliable people to work . Unemployment pays more . I have been going here for years and place is awesome ! Hectic at times, mistakes are made but they are human . EVERYTHING is made to order. They are not fast food !! 1 girl is partly blind so thats why she doesnt write things down. Some of you people are sooo horrible !! A review is suppose to be whether food tastes good PERIOD !! unless there is table service . Shame on all of you who bash this place small family business trying there best to survive !!

Good bagels; slow service.

Despite the negative reviews about the staff I found them nice and attentive. I walked in on them wishing a mother and her children happy 4th of July. My everything bagel was good just too much seasoning on top of the bagel that I had to scrap off. The only issue I had is with the coffee it was more So on the watery side. Other than that if I’m in the area I’ll stop by again.

There will surely be a wait, but absolutely worth it!

I love the bagels here, but this is perhaps the worst-run business I know of that somehow hasnt gone out of business. I dont know why I keep coming back. Theres always one or more workers not wearing a mask. The layout is awful - register way in the back, so you get to say your order at least twice. The line moves at a glacial pace (one customer every ~5 minutes), partially due to the poor layout/work flow, also due to the many call-in order people skipping the line of people waiting to get in. There is not a dedicated place for people to pick up their call-in orders.Sadly, there isnt a better bagel shop in town and these folks have zero motivation to change.

I’m convinced the Charlotte area doesn’t have any good mom and pop bagel shops with the New England feel .. microwave eggs! No grill ! If your from up north this isn’t like home at all

The management was very rude to me. If you look at replies to any negative review, you can see, first-hand, the attitude that they hold towards their customers.After reviewing the the owner’s responses to all of the negative reviews, I have surmised that my experience would likely not be a one time occurrence. I do not want to be disrespected while doing business with this company in the future. For those reasons, I will not continue to be a customer, nor will I give my recommendation to other potential customers.

Called to place a pick up order and lady tells me 30 minutes. Show up and she looks me in The face and says I said 45 minutes. Why would I lie. I was going to wait no problem but the cashier proceeded to make it seem like I was lying. I took my debit card back and told them to go screw themselves. Good bagels but not worth the disrespect from the staff. They lost a loyal customer today.

I love this place. The bagels are good and fastest service. The ladies here are very warm and nice. I love getting bagels especially from New York. There is coffee and deli sandwiches. Very good food.

Tucked on the edge of a shopping center but this place is consistently great! Bagels are great, especially everything with scallion cream cheese! The Hawaiian Bagel with chicken salad is an excellent choice as well. Everything is fresh and you wont be disappointed!

I gave it a few mins to look over the menu and still no one acknowledged me. So I walked out and will never return. Best staff!! The bagels are the very best around, hands down. The sandwiches are phenomenal. My favorite is the chicken salad on plain roll with mustard and jalapeños.Food channel should do a story on them.Downside? You need to get there early because all the locals know how good it is and the line can be long. Call ahead and skip the line.

Horrible customer service. We have stopped going because of this. Today, we went to give them another try, which was a mistake. The line was out the door. The place looks horrible, dust and dirt everywhere. The ceilings are brown and damaged. I noticed a huge fire hazard while I was waiting. One of the power strips in use at the entrance was covered in dust. Once we finally got to order and were ready to pay, two of the employees started arguing and yelling at each other. I thought that was so unprofessional and disrespectful to delay their customers any longer. The whole experience was a complete waste of my time. I am done with this place and they will not be getting any more of my money.

Counter staff was great warmly welcoming regulars with their usual and making a newcomer like me feel right at home too. Good old school bagel and pastry selections for breakfast with friendly service. I will definitely be returning again!

Great bagels, worst service. Dont ask for anything crazy like a dozen toasted bagels (at a bagel shop) or theyll treat you like you just spit in their faces. I got a big dramatic eye roll, attitude, she had to go to the back to even ask This guy wants a dozen toasted... Do we even do that?? I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Had I violated some unspoken bagel shop rule or something?? Regulars (like all the time regulars) who know the staff get nice service. I see that quite a bit, but for some reason they treat everyone else like a head of cattle and you are just in the way. Ive also had instances of ordering for a small group and then something is wrong when I get home. No sausage on a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant; wrong type of bagel, not the cream cheese I asked for, etc.

What a shame. NY/NJ expats would love this place if it were clean and well run. Dark, stained ceiling tiles, dirty and a staff that is slow and could get a single item order correct.

Dude.. here is what I order. Ham egg and cheese on ciabata, toasted, a little salt and pepper, sometimes a little mayo. Its $5 and hands down the best breakfast in lake Norman. Call ahead and tip well if you want to bypass the line.

This place is so frustratingly slow. Food is pretty good but I cant take the painstaking pace of the crew. And they all look so annoyed to be there. If there was only another decently run bagel place in the area this place wouldnt survive long.

Terrible service. Stood in line for 10 minutes while the staff of 5 talked to each other instead of serving customers. The line was about 10 people deep and 2 other customers walked out before I finally did as well.

When I go to a bagel shop, I expect to see a grill where they prepare the bacon and eggs for the bagels. However, this place uses a microwave. The bagels were good but the cooked items (bacon / egg) were ehhh.

I only come because the bagels are the best around. The staff continues to be consistently unfriendly and rude. I called an order in this morning and even said they were two separate orders on the phone. My friend and I came in to pick up and they put the two orders on the same ticket. When I asked to split them the woman rolled her eyes and proceeded to check out both of us acting like we were asking too much of her.

My wife and I have been regular customers of this location for the past 10+ years.. We love this place! My week is not complete without at least 2 or 3 breakfast trips here! From their food, their employees, the atmosphere..everything about this place ROCKS. Most of the girls greet customers by first or last name, remember their order, ask about their kids/mothers/school, everything. This is definitely a close knit business! Over the past week or 2 though, my experiences keep steadily getting worse. My order is wrong, is missing items, or it takes 10-15 minutes longer than it should to actually complete my order. One of the girls in particular rubs me and my wife the wrong way. I have never seen her smile, neither at fellow employees nor any customers. Just rudely asks for my order and writes it down on her pad, yet still asks me to repeat things 2 or 3 times. Then it takes her at least 10-12 minutes to make the simplest of sandwiches.. I am still standing there as I see the other girls get 2 or 3 customers out in the time it takes the girl to do one order. Im not sure if maybe she wasnt trained properly, or cant handle the fast-paced environment but it is clear that she is overwhelmed. However, that would be a lot easier to put up with if she was at least happy to be at work! My wife has mentioned (and I have agreed) on multiple occasions that she can feel the negative energy radiating off of her. I will still continue to frequent this place because I have yet to find another breakfast spot that I love this much but maybe we should let the employees know to keep their personal issues at the door and put a smile on for work!

My son and I go every Friday and get this. Bacon egg and cheese, on a everything bagel, toasted. He loves it so much, he also loves the staff. We have been going for 7 years and counting. Amazing place, respectful staff, great service...
