Took 2 months for new strings and a sound bar to be replaced on a violin. Followed up on multiple occasions, and the store never contacted me. By the end, my violin was found with no contact information attached to the violin. This store use to be top notch. My three children took lessons for years in addition to having their violins maintained there. What happened?

Very helpful knowledgeable staff in this location. Got my daughters flute maintenance done in less than a week.However the main office customer service and contact not so friendly or helpful with no follow thru still waiting on that call back.

Please beware, they insist on putting a credit card on file even if you have already paid for lessons and then charge the card without authorization.While my grandson enjoyed the four lesson package we purchased for him as a gift, we were forced to pay for the package upfront, which was fine because we gave it as a gift, but they also insisted that in order to put him in the system to add him to the schedule, we must put a credit card on file. I expressed great concern that we would have to give a credit card on file because we did not want any more lessons than the four we already purchased. They kept saying, dont worry, we wont charge anything else unless you ask us to extend his lessons, I argued for five minutes that this policy made no sense to me but they kept saying they wont charge the card, but they need it to enter him into the system or he cant schedule lessons (and if he cant schedule lessons, then he cannot use the four-lesson package that we purchased). I asked them if they realized how crazy this sounds, and they insisted they would not charge the card. They said to wait at least two weeks and then call and ask to have the card removed, which we did. Guess who just charged the card again? Now they say, they cannot refund the money, but no worries, they will give us more lessons. Very frustrating! Buyer Beware.

Rented a Cello here for my wedding. These people are beyond nice and helpful. Ill buy some guitars from here. Nice work.

Recommend for service/repairs and they also have a Maintenance program for instruments (ours is a brass - Trumpet) that is a pretty good deal. Helpful folks working here. also have a store in Concord that we go to as well.

Very good experience with this store! Ryan, the store manager is super knowledgeable and really has a heart of his customers. He demoed a guitar for me while I was there, as I was looking for one for my daughter, and he took his time helping me! FYI, this boy can sing some Journey like none other! I cant believe the VOICE hasnt found him yet!The store was clean and the lesson rooms look really nice! I am a local worship pastor. For several years now my church and worship team have been working with the Huntersville location. It has been a great partnership. From a quick pack of strings all the way up to major gear for our main sound system. The whole team at Music and Arts has helped us save money and still get the quality we need. Highly recommend doing business here.

I usually like smaller family owned businesses, but the level of service I receive every time I stop by this store is the best anywhere. Everyone there is knowledgeable no matter if its a question about my sons drum and bells for band, or what strings would be best for my old Martin. I never thought I would make a chain store my go to, but they are the best I have ever found. I dont know if the other locations compare to this one, but if they offer even half the service these guys do, places like Guitar Center are in trouble.

We purchased a 5 piece Pearl Roadshow drum set for our sonss Christmas present. When we opened the box on Christmas eve to assemble we discovered that someone from the store had switched out the Pearl drum set and replaced it with part from a SPL drum set. Parts were switched, other items such as the snare drum were completely missing.The store eventually corrected the situation, but I would be careful buying equipment there.

Brought back item... they would not give me my cash back. Said only allowed to give cash back if it is 50$ or less. I have been waiting on my check refund from them for about 9 days :( They lost my business over this and I better get my refund check soon. I have spent tons in this store but not ever again will they get even a penny of mine!!

Best music store for lessons of all instruments on the entire east coast.

These guys are LIFESAVERS! Yesterday, the input jack broke on my guitarists guitar... 48 hours before we are set to record our album. I called this morning and was pleasantly greeted and told to bring the guitar in and that they would be more than happy to have it fixed up and ready to go by tonight. Our entire band is extremely grateful and we will definitely be making Music & Arts our number one stop for all of our band needs. Thanks again for being so awesome.

I have done business with this store for years. Staff is always helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They have helped me with hard to find items on several occasions. Both myself and my son have had great experience with the instructional staff also.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful! I purchased an Ibanez guitar there and it’s great! I also purchase all my drum sticks and heads there.

My son has been taking piano lessons at Music & Arts in Huntersville, NC for over 2 years now and it has a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and greet everyone that walks in. They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and my son’s piano teacher has helped him excel with his skills.

Have purchased quite a bit of pro audio gear from this store, all with recommendations of the staff. All has been received in quick time (except for one that had a manufacturers issue, totally unrelated to M&A) and worked exactly as described. Knowledgeable staff, courteous, and willing to take the time to explain pros and cons of decisions. I drive from Mooresville to Huntersville to visit this particular store 99% because of the staff.

Signed my 5 year old up for piano lessons only to have them give her slot away. Then told me they couldn’t kick the other student out and there was nothing they could do!! Absolutely upset that I had to tell my 5 year old that she couldn’t start her piano lessons today due to someone’s irresponsible mistake!! Didn’t try to accommodate me, very poor customer service!! Will not be back!
