A really negative experience here. I understand certified preowned Honda’s are in high demand so when I found my idealcar online and I checked in for availability, I booked it down to Norm Reeves Huntington Beach. This has been one of the worst experiences ever. Manager too busy to help us. Different staff claim they don’t sell Clarity plug in hybrids. When confronted with the online add and my earlier check in for availability SUDDENLY “oh it was already sold”. Really? Then why did you tell me it was available, then they are never sold, to oh, not available just now?!! Not professional and a huge time waster. Will go out of my way to warn people about this bait and switch.
Bought a used vehicle and negotiate the price for my son who flew out from Texas to purchase the vehicle. When he arrived at the dealership they had switched the price and upped it $2k after they called me to say the paper work was ready to sign. Thank god my 19 year old was savvy enough to read before signing and called me about the price they put into the contract. The finance person got upset and threw the paperwork all over the office and stormed out, because he wouldn’t sign. I would highly recommend staying away from this dealership. Nobody likes to buy anything from the type of business that practices in this fashion. Shame on Norm Reeves!

Went to go purchase a USED 2014 Hyundai Sonata from the dealership back in October 2020.The process took a reasonable time. But longer than I wanted it to be. I was being offered different deals left to right from what I came in for.May 2021 comes, just 7 months from the transaction date, my Hyundai starts to experience some problems. Starting from an oil pressure issue to finding out that the engine was worn out. Turned out it was a factory recall, but as a company who sells used cars, their priority should be to ensure that all specs of the car is in good condition. Keep in mind, Huntington Beach from Lakewood is not a walking distances and on top of that, their ability to process things quickly doesn’t help either.June 2021, I decide to trade in the Hyundai for a 2021 Honda Civic. During the process, I was also considering used cars for a Lower price of $17k but was advised that “there would be no bank/financial institution that would finance a used car with a down payment of $1000 and trade in”. YET, proceeding with a $1000 and the trade in, they somehow were able to finance me for a $36k brand new car.Came in at 9:30 AM, came out of the lot at 7:30 AM with a brand new car. BUT, only to find out a few days later that I had to return the vehicle because they failed to find a financer. Called the store right away to arrange the return, but was told several times they would reach out in 30 mins that turned into days.Then I was told that I needed to comeback with paystubs and additional down payments, but once those were given, finance manager came back into the office with a general manager coming in very aggressively and almost threatening about a minor damage in the vehicle that I was willing to pay for. I was given two options of either filing a claim or having the issue “bought to court”. Since the vehicle wasn’t fully registered to me, I was not able to purchase insurance that easily. So he straight up asked how much I could pay at that moment and upon hearing $1k, he followed up with “okay hand the card” . All while that’s going on, the finance manager (Delphine) watched, showing no sign of being the helpful dealer that they are.Waited for another hour for the return of my trade in car that still had engine problem.Don’t but here, go to Hyundai Hunting Beach, a much better, welcoming, and friendly place.
Id reccomend a different dealership tbhTheir prices are double if not triple what freeway Honda in LA was charging. Were talking about a 2 to 3k difference in total cost of parts and labor for the exact same repairs on my 99 accord ex. Yes a 99 accord ex. For how simple those cars are I know theyre just pulling BS on labor.

I normally dont like to write bad review, but I had one the worst times trying to work with this store. I went in today to look at a car, got there confirmed the online price test drove the car went to start looking at paper work came back said the car was not at the said amount that I had asked and what it was listed for online. they tried to make it work with new price and I declined. walked away if it was left at that it would have been fine. but it went a step more when they called back a few hours later and said ok we will give you the price that it was listed online i said ok ill talk to my husband and then we will head over. went to go get my husband got few more calls letting me know other people were looking into it first come first serve said ok well we are on our way another few minutes later sorry we promised the car to some one else! wasted mine and my husbands time. it was very frustrating, not how you should have customers feel like they are in a race to buy a car. for a company slogan of the helpful Honda people they were not very helpful and what should have been a fun time buying a new car was far more stressful then it was worth.
I keep coming back, the reliable vehicles combined with a great team, make it worthwhile. Ed Ringler is very personable and made the experience as pleasant as the last. Shout out to Danny Valdovinos who is also amazing and I will keep recommending this particular Norm Reeves for years to come.

Last week, I was about to come by here to buy a new Honda to replace my 2013 Honda Civic. But first, I made sure to check out the website first. Unfortunately, I saw that Mike Momo is still employed here. So I went to AutoNation Toyota in Buena Park and got a new Toyota Camry instead.So about a year ago, I came to test drive an older Hyundai Sonata because I was looking for options as to what cheap car to buy as a second car alongside my Honda Civic. We end up being greeted by Mike, who let us go on a test drive, then he immediately starts desperately trying to pressure us into going in right away to look at numbers and payment plans (I already had enough money to just buy a car cash anyway) and when I told him I still have other dealerships to look at, he started asking so what was the purpose? repeatedly, and told us that it was a waste of his time and that we should have gone to a Hyundai dealership. So thank you Mike for helping me decide to scratch that Hyundai off my list of options. I ended up buying an older Camry for almost the same price the next day. Today Im now enjoying my 2009 Toyota Camry LE and my new-ish 2019 Toyota Camry SE due to the fact that management failed to get rid of people like Mike and that they tolerate rude, poor customer service. I probably would have bought a new car from here last week if they would have fired Mike.

I took my 2020 honda accord that I bought new in for warranty work on the front seat due to the stitching separation they took over a week to fix when i was told 6hrs by the service director Anthony I go to pick the car up and the workmanship on the seats was horrible they look nothing like a new accord that I took the gm and sevice director over to compare they responded this is the best we can do the factory seats in the car on the show room floor accord are done at hondas factory is why there perfect and mine are not going to be the same the gm stated i said i bought a new car the seats should look like the new accord on the show room floor basically told me i can take my car and are unwilling to make it right and finish the job they started the gm and sevice director
The worst dealer ever, star with the customer service sale department and financial department they make mistakes on the contract but customer pay for those mistakes so stupid.

I had an amazing experience here with the service team. All thanks to the service attendant and also LilIa C. The service advisor. As a car enthusiast and also work for Tesla it was a pleasure working with her because she was very knowledgeable. Lilia even went through the process of getting me a rental because I had to leave my Ridgeline over night at the shop.I know majority of people who stop into service is not in the best mood because something is broken and you’re going to have to fork out more money. But with the service I received it has made my stop in a pleasure. And I WILL for sure bring all of my vehicles here for service.
Its good service but they need to have more seating availability outside, waiting inside in a crowded space is not good during this pandemic

I was told that I did not need AC service. Just needed to buy a $40 compressor relay at the parts department. Was done in less than 30.minutrs.
