My husband and I went in on Saturday morning. We were met by Rob and he helped us get a new car. He was very friendly and knowledgeable as all employees have been each time I have gone in for service or maintenance. If youre in the market for a car and want great customer service, be sure to go see Rob. Were looking forward to seeing him again when we we stop by for an oil change.
Very professional people work there. It feels like comfortable place. Everyones friendly and they will take care of you with respect. My product specialist or car salesman was Mr. Sameer who I was very comfortable with. He did an excellent job to get me what I was looking and asking for. Mr. Adam in finance did everything electronically and got the job done very quickly.
If I could give them zero stars, I would, they are absolute liars. My girlfriend asked them not to run her credit and mistakenly gave her SS number to them in case a deal was finalized. She has a 740 score and told them that. They ran her credit anyway without permission. When she was asking why they ran her credit with our permission they didnt give her an answer. They also played back and forth games, like how it was buying a car 20 years ago. Dealerships like this should not be supported. The people who work there have no integrity and treat their customers like a number. The car business is getting better and more customer focused but this is one dealership that doesnt care about growing business long term. They will lie cheat and steal to get a quick deal done. We almost feel like suing and feel violated because the credit was ran without permission. Definitely stay away from this place, their dealerships in the area who are doing things right.

Unfortunately I have to now leave a one star review ( I’d rather leave 0 stars but it’s not an option ). I purchased my car two weeks ago and I have yet to be able to enjoy it. I have had to bring it in twice already because it wouldn’t start. It’s such an inconvenience to be stuck in different places because your car won’t start. I’m now once again stuck without a car on a Saturday and I have to wait till Monday for service to open because it won’t start AGAIN. I’ve just started a new job and have had to explain that I will be in late because my car won’t start and now I have to call Monday morning to say I won’t be in because I won’t have a car to get there. Not a good way to start a new job. This is such an unreliable car and I feel like I bought a lemon. It’s so frustrating and upsetting to have a car that I just bought not work properly. At this point taking it in for the third time in two weeks has me experiencing anxiety because even after getting it back the third time is this going to keep happening. I’ve lost all confidence in this car being reliable. It’s extremely stressful and disappointing to have to go through this when I just bought it. I haven’t even been able to drive it for a full 5 days straight since I got it. Hyundai really needs to step up on this because now I have a high level of anxiety and stress and I’m at risk of losing my new job.
So over the top impressed with the service! I went in to have my tire fixed and left feeling like I had white glove service! Felt terribly guilty cause I did not spend that much! I sure do appreciate it -thank you Ben and staff!
Recently moved from the east coast for graduate school and needed a car. After having been to 7 dealerships in 1 day, I came to Huntington Beach Hyundai as my last hope. I was immediately greeted by Christina P who was able to get me a new car, and was able to work with me and my budget unlike the other dealerships I had visited the same day. She was very personable and made me feel valued and did not give the vibe of trying to nickel and dime me like other car salespeople. She was able to get me a low price, and made the process so smooth.The finance manager Ahmed was also very personable and called me a few days later and was actually able to get me an even better price on my deal. This is a predatory dealership plain and simple. They use bait and switch tactics, by posting a vehicle online for a cheap price to get you into the dealership, then revealing that the car actually costs $4,000-$6,000 more than advertised. This is because of dealer installed accessories…“That wasn’t in the advertisement” you might protest, to which they happily point out on the advertisement a small section of text that reads “All pricing and advertised prices for any and all vehicles offered for sale do not include dealer installed accessories which can be purchased for an additional cost.”Don’t let that fool you! These are still illegal advertising practices because the cars have already had the accessories installed, meaning it is no longer “optional” which is clearly implied by the term “can be purchased”.I’m sure one day they will be sued or formally charged with violating California Business and Professions codes pertaining to advertising…The bottom line is you should stay clear of this place!

Horrible quality and technicians.Never buying a Hyundai ever.My Hyundai Santa Fe Sport broke down during a 3 hr road trip. The engine was smoking by the time I got to the nearest exec when I heard it malfunction. I brought it in to the shop the day after. Told me the engine was being recalled. Then proceeded to work on my car. They told me they would replace my engine at their expense. A week later they tell me that my whirring has been tampered with and offered to fix their mistake for 1k . I refused and it costed me 200 just to fix the wiring they broke while taking out the engine. Not to mention they ruins my car battery that I just got. So I had to get that replaced as well.Thank you Hyundai for having such great quality cars and service.I don’t ever want to com back here or to any Hyundai dealership ever.

My mom recently totaled her car. I live out of state but wanted to help her. I called Huntington Beach HYUNDAI and spoke with Christina and by the end of the day my mom had a brand new car I was so happy that it fit all her needs especially the price. This is definitely a shady dealer. They advertise one price but once you get there, its another. They end up adding a bunch of additional options that were never advertised and selling it for thousands more. See example of photos. I was looking for a car advertised for 18,949 but when I got there the car had window tinting, GPS tracking, etc for over 25k. How do they get away with this? Its false advertising. When I asked them, they said it was in the fine print. So, make sure you read the very fine print when visiting this dealer. This was a horrible experience and I will never buy a car from them.

Be wary purchasing a car from here. Not only do they under value your trade by more than 70% off Kelly Blue Book, they use deceptive practices to delay telling you this information until after they have your personal information.Thankfully, we were smart enough to walk away and get a car somewhere else.
Be careful of the price scam. They advertise a price but you cannot buy the car at the advertised price. They will try to jack up the advertise price with accessories that is not in the advertised price. I waisted my time trying to buy a used RX350 for the advertised price in CarGurus.

Worked w consumer affairs to help cover 100% of all my repair related issues I had through a recall got me a brand new loaner car so I had a solid set of wheels to get by until hyundai corp have them fix my car AND got them to cover the past few weeks I initially paid outta pocket for my rental car via reimbursement. Dealership prices for servicing your Hyundai so I cant really knock them down for that. You should expect it to be higher pricing. Definitely a nice service team who will cover your Hyundai from front to rear. Ben is great!

I went to Huntington Beach Hyundai and had a good experience with my car leasing process. Roberto was the sales associate who greeted us and showed us the car options I was interested in. He was friendly and understanding of my financial needs/plan for payments, etc. and showed me the options that worked for my budget. He was not pushy at all, he was honest and there was absolutely no haggling which I really appreciated.This was my first time purchasing from a dealership so I wasnt looking forward to the potential of haggling and that headache, but Roberto made my car buying experience very positive. Tony from Finance was also not pushy with trying to sell additional items, which I also appreciated. I think the entire process took about 3-3 1/2 hours (looking at cars, test driving and the paperwork), which was not bad at all.Only negatives were: they never shared my FICO credit score with me and didnt inform me of the reduced rebate amount until I saw it on the paperwork in Finance. I think this should have been shared with me upfront since I had discussed one rebate amount and then it changed with no notice/update.Overall, I appreciate that Roberto, Tony and the team respected my budget, worked with me to get the best option for what I could afford and all around made it an easy, hassle free experience. I highly recommend HB Hyundai dealership and in particular Roberto if youre looking to purchase a car.

Prices on cars were somewhat higher than anticipated. Sales crew was cool and didnt put too much pressure. They had some great souped up Hyundais out front but unfortunately they were out of my price range. Was very busy this past Saturday!

I was very happy with anti-Covid-19 measures. The cashiers office door was kept open for ventilation and I complimented the staff. They were cold but they might saving lives and health. Everyone was wearing a mask and wearing it right and practicing social distancing. Ben made sure to give me a pen from a bag of unused pens.

The people are nice enough but we feel that the business protocols used in our case border on bait and switch. Their website stated a price for a vehicle. We called several times and was told that the vehicle was in very good condition. We made arrangements to go to calif, and purchase the car. when we arrived and looked at the car there were some flaws, although not major but flaws just the same. We feel they should have been identified and revealed to us. Shortly before we traveled to calif, we received a voice message stating a price which was lower by $1000.00 and it spoke of an addendum referring to, which we interpreted as accessories and services, that had not been mentioned before. We were elated, thinking the car was even better than we had previously thought.After discussing the flaws as we saw them, we sat down to do some paperwork. We still do not know why the paper work was needed as all we needed to know was the price of the vehicle. After completing the paperwork, it was finally revealed that the price had not been changed but had been increased by over $3,400.00. They said that the increase was to pay for the items in the addendum. Nowhere on the website was it mentioned in the car description about the additional items in the addendum or that that there would be additional cost. When we brought this to their attention, they said there was something on the website that says there may be additional costs for additional items. We never saw it but feel that in all the telephone calls and texts, this should have been mentioned.Bottom line, even though they did offer to lower the price stated on the paperwork, they would not sell the car to us for the advertised price. We felt that we could no longer trust them or the car and did not purchase it. As my mother used to say buyer beware.
Today we (my husband and I) did exactly what I wanted to do through a sales person named Christina Prunier. We got a new Elantra which she personally picked out recommended for us and purchased a used Kona which had been on lease. Christina is very intuitive and really gets what you want to do in your purchase. She is very personable and easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend her. When you call the dealership, ask for Christina Prunier if you want a perfect sales person.

Honestly, the service guys are really fast and the experience is overall really easy. They check you in quickly and check you out quickly which is the dream. Also, everyone is always so nice. That has been a consistent thing every time I come in.
Ben was great, got me in without an appointment to fix bad ignition coil and performed 2 recalls automatically. Dropped my 2012 Elantra off in afternoon and was ready next day. Good price for repair. Very professional and friendly! Will use them again if needed in future.

Aaron was great. We came in after seeing a 2019 Toyota Tacoma online for sale. We got a good price. Aaron was extremely helpful. Matt the finance guy was awesome. He got everything done quickly. I had some questions after the sale of the car and he answered all of them. Both were very professional and helpful. My husband loves the car is and very happy with the deal. They repainted the hood and truck bed door since another businesses info was on it. Two things: 1. The left backside there a tiny spot that has no paint and is matte. I expected this to be painted as well. 2. The car only had a half tank of gas, which was disappointing. I’ve never left a dealership with only half a tank of gas. I guess I should have mentioned it before leaving but it was getting late and we were both tired. Aaron and Matt I would give 5 stars, but due to those two things I have to remove a star.updated 1/20/2021: I received a call back from Aaron to see if we were happy about the purchase and we are. Also he asked about filling up the gas tank, but we have declined since my husband is pretty busy with work. Aaron is great and was extremely helpful I I appreciate the call back. For this I added back another star.
If I could but no star i will, I bought my car from this dealership, first i made an appointment for service because i am hearing a weird noise at suspension of a 2020 car so i went to my appointment first no one was at office except a guy he was helping someone else outside after he came i told him i have an appointment on 2:00 pm he said oh okay you have to leave the car till Monday i said i have no problem i need a rental car so he said no cars for renting now so how i go to my work it’s not even logical plus he was so rode when I said how am i supposed to know that you don’t have rental he said with loud voice (( call )) and why do you have a website then and keep sending me offers to make an appointment online !! After i make my appointment online who said that I should call !!!!!! Rode service and finally i asked for a manager and no one latterly no one was there to help me definitely i will never come back again for service or for sales
Bought a used truck from them, a 2020 Ford truck. They followed through on getting me an extra key as promised in contract. I am pleased with the truck and over all the service
Had an appointment for today at 345pm. Only to be told they couldn’t change my oil as agreed. The gentleman said they would have to keep the car overnight, even though I had an appointment to wait while they perform the work. I even had an email confirmation, co firming in writing I was suppose to wait for my car. This is the third time I’ve had issues with this service department. They have one good employee form what I have seen. Never buying a Hyundai again. I’ll stick with Honda moving forward. Honda service is way better and they get it right every time.
Ask for Jose. Wait he is no longer here the owner puppet. But what a great guy if he goes to our dealership we will pay him twice as much honest and good work ethics. We will offer him a job next worth 20k
I would give this dealership zero stars if it was possible. The manager, Shant, was one of the most unhelpful and argumentative people I have ever met. After contradicting himself every other sentence and talking over me the entire time, he then proceeded to follow me out of the dealership while I was leaving in an attempt to argue with me. Overall terrible customer service; I would rather walk everywhere for the rest of my life than buy a car and give anyone who works here even a nickel.
My family and I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Hyundai Huntington Beach especially with the service and help given from Christina Prunier and Faris. Christina went above and beyond trying her best to get us what we really wanted as far as monthly payment and loan term. She did not give up and kept fighting for us to be satisfied. Faris made sure to make it happen on their end.

Brought my Kona in for service. Had made an appointment online and vehicle was taken in almost immediately. Their coffee machine is down currently so I took a walk to grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks down the street. I only waited a little bit in their waiting room when I was notified my vehicle was done. Waiting room was very comfortable. There were vending machines and everything was very clean. They even washed my car! Very pleased with my experience. Will definitely be coming back for all my services.

We did our due diligence before looking at the Santa Fe. For those of you who dont know, AAA has dealers they work with who have an agreed upon price for their car. No haggling! A few years ago, I discovered that Consumer Reports (CR) armed you with a price that dealers would accept, and it was way lower than the AAA price!!! So we called around after deciding on the color and features. We live in Torrance but found the car at Huntington Beach. It had 1300 miles on it, and they still called it NEW!! We showed them the CR price for a brand new car. Manny gave us a much higher price, insisting that it was still new, so we started walking away, planning to go to the Long Beach dealership we had already talked to. The manager (Tony) did everything but get on his knees to get us to reconsider, asking what it would take for us to buy the car. We showed him all of the sticking points, and he finally lowered the price, even lowering it because of the mileage, to our satisfaction. It was hard work, even when you come in armed for war, but we got the car at a great price!!They washed the car, filled it with gas, and detailed it before we left!!The picture is from Long Beach Hyundai. I took a friend here because she was ready to purchase a car at an agreed price. When she sat down to purchase the car the price was approximately $5,000 more than they told her. She expected the price to be higher due to taxes and licensing but they also tacked on thousands of dollars of dealer incentives that she didnt ask for or want. This all seemed pretty shady to me. She ended up not being able to afford the car due to this and even lost $65 of her own money she spent to get the car checked out by her mechanic.
I have had excellent service provided by Peter in the service department for the last two years. He is very professional and makes sure my Genesis is well maintained. Peter is a very active listener. Therefore, all of my requests are always satisfied. I have never had to take my car back to address something that should have been addressed when I first brought it in. I have owned other luxury cars but the service has never been as excellent as Peter has provided.
Great service, easy process and my concerns were all addressed. Peter my service professional kept me in the loop with the good and the bad along with offering solutions. I didn’t feel pressured to keep adding more than what I came for so I appreciated that. Peter understood my car needs and was also vigilant with what I was comfortable spending on the service that day. I was also very pleasantly surprised that not only did I get an exterior wash but they also wiped down some of my interior that was all covered in sand and dust. I really appreciated that. Thanks guys and I’ll see ya again for my next big service! 😊😊

BUYER BEWARE!!! A true Bait n Switch dealer. Advertised at $28,100, then dealer options of window tint, Nitrol tires, and GPS increased the price by $3500. They were already installed. Wanted to add Gap insurance for additional $895, my Credit Union had it for $400. Shop around before going here. I ended up purchasing cuz I was naïve with regards to financing... dont let that be you too.
I came to the dealership with an interest for a Santa Fe and the prices at this HYUNDAI dealership were so much better than where I live and a few other areas. So it was perfect cause I got an amazing deal and the best salesmen Ive ever dealt with.Ask for Mayra. If you have a question dont be afraid to ask. I didn’t like their service. I left my Tucson to get diagnostic and if it’s under warranty to fix it. They called me to pick up the car. When I get there they said the previous owner has taken for service and they rejected him. Then they asked me diagnostic price which is $185. And I have paid it. And i asked them so what’s wrong with the car? They said engine. :) I got crazy, I know it’s engine problem. I got diagnostic to find out what is wrong with the engine!.. they said internal problem!.. what a crazy thing?.. I don’t think so they are real SERVICE!.. if I take the car to the any mechanic shop, they would even tell me what might be the problem? Even they would give me options. They didn’t give any information!.. not anymore with these guys!..Btw, the car is 2017 Hyundai Tucson 42 kmiles on it. Surprise!..Besides, they gave me the car without putting the engine cover and bottom plastic cover. I have added pics to prove it. Never Ever!..
The best around. Originally I was told by a different Hyundai dealership that my particular cars model required an engine decarb every 15,000 miles. Upon miles of driving frustration dealing with intermittent check-engine lights, Ben was able to enlighten me that my car never required such maintenance and also had the wherewithal to use my vehicles warranty for a completely new engine restore!
If someone who works here sees this, TELL THE OWNER TO PROVIDE EMPLOYEE PARKING AND STOP PARKING ON THE STREET. THERE IS NO STREET PARKING FOR RESIDENTS ANYMORE BECAUSE OF EMPLOYEES PARKING HERE. ALSO PLEASE RELOCATE THE VEHICLE DELIVERY TRUCK TO DELIVER ON CHRYSLER DRIVE BECAUSE ITS A LESS BUSY STREET AND HE ALWAYS BLOCKS TERRY STREET ALMOST CAUSING CAR ACCIDENTS EVERY TIME HES HERE DURING RUSH HOUR.
I have called 2 days in a row and left a message with reception and never got a call back. This same thing happened a few months ago and It took a week to finally get in touch with Finance after posting about it on their website. Customer service is very important to people in business so I really hope they fix this. I was told I would receive a call back after giving my name and phone number. It seems like its only convenient when they are making money off you.
Tried claiming they added 3k worth of things to the car to make it “market value”. Some nitrogen in the tires and tint. Scam. Car advertisement was 13k online and now you’re saying it’s 16k. Come expecting to pay over the price stated online.
Not a good experience. I will give them time to rectify the situation before elaborating my displeasure further after an internal survey I completed. If not rectified, I will post all evidence across all available forums.
First of all, I think they should have more stars.Has anybody been to a dealership and felt like they are paying for thewarranty work out of their own pocket?I had an engine replaced 2 years ago at TUSTIN HYUNDAI. They would be the last dealership I would ever go to again.So I called HB HYUNDAI, and talked with Ben, the service writer I had all the way from beginning to end, not getting passed around like the fruitcake aunt makes at Christmas, told him I needed another engine, which was still under warranty, and he told me to bring the car in and he would see about getting me a loaner.. Yeah right!! This has never happened, what is the catch. The other dealer made me rent a car, then after a 10 day fight with them, they realized I bought the car used and the problem could have preexisted. Total Customer Service was their mission to give me a hard time at every avenue we crossed. Everything, I mean everything was a no can do, no matter what was on the plate to be digested.Then I get a call from Ben Telling me he had a rental. Ok.. I went and checked it out, and there was not one no can do. at this dealership. Every thing was based on being a customer, that needed a car, but gave me a hard time about it.HB HYUNDAI stepped up to the plate when most people turn their back on you. They were all about great customer service. There wasnt one issue that they werent able to make the customer feel like they were taken care of.The rental division, ran by Bri (and if she does not run this division, she will some day!). Nice, respectful, and no problems.. NONE! NOT one.I drop my car off thinking what is to come. They told ne about 10 days to two weeks. Then they call me and tell me I need some coils from the spark plugs that were not under warranty. They were more than I had expected, ( I do not know if anybodys income has decreased in the last year), but they gave me the option to order my own. That is pretty much unheard of, they want to make their money somewhere I thought.I purchased my own, but the next thing I know my car was done, and they improvised with some other used plugs, and I wanted to get the car back, because I know that others like me needed a car, and I needed to get it back to them.. When I got there, again not one issue. Bri took in the car, ( I had gone over a little on the miles.. No Problem we can handle that she said.. WHAT!! Find a person/company that would do this/ I signed a piece of paper and BAM! I was outta there happy as could be.Tustin Hyundai tried charging me a deductible, and of course I let them know what they could do with that.So, no matter what this is the dealer to go to for all your needs.Ask for Ben or Bri..But what do I know, I am just another 62 year old man, that has owned over 25 cars and never have had this kind of service..Blessings to all.
