Great products...but dont give into any of the sale pressure. Theyll kill your wallet.I ordered a new, queen sized mattress (firm, memory foam, gel), the only one they had immediately available.I picked the cheapest shipping option (FedEx), and cheapest mattress protector on the online order.I received no less than 3 calls over the next 3 days verifying that FedEx is the way I wanted to go, even getting a pitch like, Since they do it on their own, we cant track it and we dont know when youll get it. Could be two weeks. Also, they had a sales rep try to sell me a $400 protector package.Do the math! Its cheaper just to buy as you go. Trust me!Guess what came today, precisely one week after I ordered? The mattress and protector sheet.So even during the Pandemic, you wont have to wait too long for the cheapest shipping option (but be wary of how long it takes to get any of their other mattresses. I eyed their most expensive set that comes with a box spring, but it wouldnt be available until over a month from now! Pass!).

I had a great experience with the sales rep but the delivery fee was outrageous. She told me that the headquarters raised the fee but I think the store used the Covid pandemic as a reason to do that. I live in the area and I have to pay 150 bucks for delivery...Thats crazy to me.

Recently my sister purchased some furniture at Bob’s in Huntington Beach. She was assisted by Steve Curtis who helped her find exactly what she was looking for and was so impressed with Steve that she told me to be sure to ask for him in my quest to find a new sofa—I am glad I did.I too was impressed with Steve’s knowledge of product, patience with my questions, and concern for my budget.He took the time to explain the warranty program and delivery options that are offered. Carmen was the BEST!!! She was knowledgeable, professional and fun to work with while also being very straight forward and helpful about what was in stock, lead time for delivery etc. We also met her manager Jonathan who was just as great. Both were calm and easy to talk to, never aggressive or pushy and they made us feel very comfortable, so comfortable we made a purchase within 20min of entering the store. Do not order from here anytime soon. We have been waiting for a dinner table set for almost 6 months & we keep getting emails of delivery date being pushed back. We order order our couch form Living Spaces on Goldenwest and Edinger around the same time and there was no delay.

It was my very first time in this store and I was blown away with how beautiful the store was set up! Every single sales associates was extremely friendly, welcoming and the associates were very well dressed. We were there looking at beds for my daughter and my mom. We were asked as we walked throughout the store if we were finding everything alright. A gentleman by the name of Brenden approached us as we were actually very interested in one of the beds for my daughter and he was a burst of light and great energy! He was such a pleasure to talk to and answered all our questions. He really took the time to make us feel special and he was so attentive. After talking for a bit and deciding if we wanted to purchase the bed or not, we realized he was the manager! He didn’t even have to take the time he did, he could of had one of his sales associates help us, but that just shows how much he loves his job and his customers! He is awesome! I havent been at Bobs discount furniture in years, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the furniture at such low prices. I was also impressed with the thoughtfulness of the displays, with upper tiers set so you can see variations on the furniture at a glance.We also appreciated the salespeople, no one hounded us but Jaclyn brought us to a living room set that we wouldnt have considered normally but ended up being perfect for our needs. She hung out with us patiently as we planned out our configuration and supported us with tape measure without giving the hard sound sell. Much appreciated great experience!

They had a big selection of furniture, it wasnt over priced, and it was in stock. Bob wasnt in when I was shopping but the sales people were helpful. They also arranged to have stuff FedExed from a vendor.I would suggest you check out Wayfair first and then come over. Prices seem to be in the same range; but Bob has his own brands so its hard to compare apples to apples.

I had never set foot in a Bob’s store until today. I needed to purchase some items for my mothers’s new apartment and she has a tight budget . I was very impressed with the selection of items I had to choose from within her budget. Our sales associate, Liz, was super helpful and attentive. I never felt pressured to buy more or go more expensive. Every item I chose Liz quickly looked up to make sure it was in stock before we added it to the cart. Lastly, I was very impressed that at the end - before credit card was run - a manager came over and independently confirmed my order and contact info. I would definitely recommend shopping here.

Been here twice and left with new furniture on both occasions. They have a great selection to choose from for every room in the house.Our first trip we were shopping for a couch and had help from Reina, she was very nice and informative trying to accommodate what we were looking for and definitely happy with our new couch.2nd visit was for a dining set and had help from Steven. He was friendly and also informative and quick to set up our delivery etc. My only complaint would be that he sharked us around the entire store both upstairs and down while Reina let us do our thing.I definitely recommend checking this place out for all furniture needs, they have a great selection, affordable prices and knowledgeable staff ready to help. I would rate this 0 stars if I could.The sales associate who helped us purchase our nearly $2000 sofa set was nice, but the customer service afterward was absolutely abysmal.We needed to wait two months for our sofa set to arrive, which we accepted. The sofa arrived with a defect where one sectional had a visible tear in the fabric, and the chaise had a visible oil stain. We had to schedule an appointment with customer service for a technician to come and verify the defects, so that was more waiting. We accepted that.The technician came, verified everything, and through customer service, a replacement was ordered for only the sectional with the fabric tear. We needed to wait ANOTHER two months for that replacement to come. We were unhappy with the wait, but we accepted it.When the replacement sectional arrived, it was to our huge disappointment that the color was completely off from the rest of the sofa set - even the deliveryman acknowledged that the color was off, but he told us to contact customer service for solutions, as it was out of his control. Understandable, but this is where it gets even more frustrating.We had to call numerous times, initiate everything ourselves, and in the end, Bobs Discount Furniture took absolutely no responsibility for providing any satisfactory service for our very expensive sofa set.All we wanted was for the sofa set to be replaced to ensure that we had a sofa without defects and had matching colors. If that wasnt possible, then we wanted a refund. That was all we asked for.Bobs Discount Furnitures customer service repeatedly refused to provide us with that solution, and I dont understand why! Why is it so hard to do that? What sense does it make to sell a sofa set that doesnt even match? How could anyone be satisfied with that??Customer service was a nightmare. They constantly asked, how may we help you? and absolutely did not help us at all.I do not recommend Bobs Discount Furniture to anyone. The in-person team at the store may be nice, but if youre unfortunate to receive defective furniture, then the entire process from start to finish of getting replacements is a terrible experience.

It there was a negative it is just that my chair is on back order til July. Fortunately the sofa will be delivered on Friday.

He even showed us a new style of couch that was very cool and something we wouldnt have looked at originally. Great spot for furniture. Beautiful showroom. Sales people are available, but don’t stalk you while you browse. They have movies, phone chargers, candy, ice cream, coffee for you or your kids. Furniture is not particle board. They offer shipping and charges depend on amount of item purchased. Delivery people give you tracking info so you know exactly when they’ll deliver.

This was me and my girls 3rd stop in our quest to find nice reclining sofa and love seat that fit in our living room. We were greeted by Hamid, old school guy in a suit wearing cowboy boots, honestly my guard went up but decided to give him a shot. We told him what we wanted and he said he had THE ONE for us. The man hit the nail on the head. The second we sat down we were hooked. Im hard headed and kept throwing him configuration curve balls and he kept hitting em. Finding the configuration combination that I asked every time. I tried not to like it, thinking he was showing us the most expensive one, it WASNT the most expensive one. I even walked around BUT I kept going back. Hamid listened to what we wanted and he delivered on the first try. He was really respectful and not once did we feel pushed or pressured. He explained everything to us in detail, sometimes when I walk out of large purchases with sales people I feel like I left something on the table and I have some level of buyers remorse but not this time. When I walked out I felt I had bought a couch from my uncle.

Horrible horrible horrible customer service!!!!!! We received a faulty item. We tried to contact them for more than a month but were just passed around from number to number. Finally we got into contact with them and they sent someone to look at it. He ordered replacement parts and now is has been more than 5 months total that they have not solved the issue. We have these couches that can’t even be sat on because there is no cushion you fall straight into the springs of the actual couch. Horrible service. They said they’d send the parts by January it is now February 22 and we have yet to receive anything. We call everytime and they just say the same thing. They say they can not do anything till the parts arrive. The parts will not solve the problem. The whole couch is faulty. They refuse to give us our items back or even replace our items. Horrible customer service!! Don’t be fooled by the store. Some furniture is fine but don’t expect any help if you run into problems. They will pass you around until the warranty period is over and say you should’ve called earlier. Horrible service!!! 0 stars!!!!

After our 1st visit we decided to purchase a sofa, turned out to be the worst furniture buying experience. The sofa had horrible gaps and didnt line up properly. A replacement would not be sent until visual inspection by a technician. We arranged for someone to be home and when the guy came he didnt even look at anything and said thats how it is mad made to give space to put your hand down to recline. We got their customer service involved and no help just run arounds. She would not respond to any questions or any emails from me but only from those that came from my wife even after she informed customer service that all communication will be with me and no longer her. And still I have yet to receive any emails from the rep. When the 2nd replacement came. The gaps were worse and color was off. The delivery guys were even given the run around when they called in to customer service about the issues on the replacement section. And now it was time for another tech to come and inspect. We waited all day until we got a phone call from him after the appointment window that he had car trouble. He did show up and was very apologetic, things happen so I wasnt upset of the delay. He said that the color is way off and the gaps should not be there. I told him I went to other locations and the same sofa does not have gaps in their displays and the multiple locations. He stated that they are built differently due to having to have people trying out the furniture all day long. That just isnt right build better for display but sell and deliver horrible quality for customers. I asked for management so I can discuss the issues and was given the run around. Asked for the sales person and never called back. I wanted a full replacement and inspection done before delivery and they declined. We are stuck with furniture that is cheaply built. We were told that there would be a credit coming to our account and that never came through. I have all emails between my wife, the customer service representative and myself. They will be in my complaint to consumer affairs/ better business bureau.Stopped by for the 1st time. Greeted as we walked in and didnt feel pressured. They have great displays. Free coffee and ice cream. This is one of there largest locations being 2 story as well.

Bought a recliner it started smelling badly after 3 months. They said it was my problem. They wont even back there product. STAY AWAY!!!

Absolutely horrible experience. By far the worst shopping experience Ive had in my lifetime. I ordered a lounge and sleeper sofa. The lounge came in within a good time but they brought the wrong sofa, so they ended up coming back to pick up the sofa. It took over 6 months for them to get me my sleeper sofa. Just ridiculous.
