This place has been in business for years and I never went to it until I moved away for college and then moved back to Huntington Beach and experienced trying to drink the most disgusting tap water in my apartment. Not even a Britta filter could fix it. I convinced my husband that we should buy a water cooler and then I did some research on where to purchase water instead of paying crazy amounts to have it delivered to us.The Water Market has the best water in HB. It “tastes” so good because there is no taste. It’s just pure, clean-tasting water. And the price is unbeatable. They’ve recently ungraded their exterior to house 6 water filling stations for 24/7 use. They also have alkaline water, which I haven’t tried. Their price for 8 lbs of ice is cheaper than a grocery store and the ice is infinitely better since they use the same water filter to make the ice. They don’t call is diamond ice for nothing, it’s clear and won’t leave white mineral floaties or a bad taste in your drink. The employees are super nice and helpful, too. Honesty, come here for your great water and delicious needs. You won’t be disappointed.

Ive been going here for 20 years. Theyve only raised their price 5 cents a gallon in all these years. Practically a public service. Best water around. Clean. Taste great. Consistent. Was once working at a business where Sparklettes came by trying to sell us water. They offered to test the water we were using which was from The Water Market. After testing it, they said said they honestly couldnt compete with it and to keep getting our water from wherever we were getting it. End of story. Nicest people in the world working there. Have never had any issue here. Now they have this super (oxygenated...9.5 Ph, Alkaline etc....) water for $2.00 a gallon. Amazing. Same water others are selling in small bottles for $6.00-$8.00. Crazy. One of best of anything in Huntington Beach.

They have the best tasting water and you can taste the difference. We avoid buying store bottled water: 1. not good for the environment, 2. chemicals from the plastic leach into the water from sitting in hot warehouses or back of trucks during the distribution process. The owner Lauren and Dan are super knowledgeable and passionate about water and have gained their knowledge through research and from their customers who many are from the medical or fitness field. Or, customers that had to become their own advocates and experts in health after some sort of illness they dealt with. Their website has a lot of information, but they are always passionate about educating you on the health benefits of drinking clean, pure water.

A fraction of the price of bottled water.

I dont want to pay for other water than the stuff coming out of my facet, but Ive learned a few details that have forced my hand. The city I work in was drilling holes in a parking lot and I asked why. The employee said that the chromium 6 was too high to pass standards, so they were injecting chemicals to convert the chrom 6 to chrom12. Then they were purchasing water for an outside source to blend the water to reach the maxium allowable levels. I was done drinking tap water. I went to work and poured a glass of tap, a glass of arrowhead, and a glass of water from this water store. The tap water smelled of chlorine and mildew, the arrowhead was definitely better, but the water store water was superior. All of my employees agreed the water store stuff was better. Unfortunately now I have to mule water to work and home, but its worth the effort. I tried a few other water stores since, and I would recommend this place first.

Hands down the best water in OC! Ive been coming here since I was a kid with my family (15+ years). Their water is so clean and always tastes crisp and clean. My mom and grandmother swear this place is the fountain of youth, because they say it keeps their skin looking so hydrated and young! I have to agree!Everyone we know buys water here. Even our family medical doctor and his family buy water here. Thats how we learned about this place to begin with. Our doctor sends all of his patients here.This place is a LEGEND in HB and nearby cities, as theyve been around for 20+ years, everyone knows the family and they are so OCD about changing their filters and keeping up on maintenance of their equipment. They also only use filters and other media made in the US, which ensures there are no contaminants in their products. I love that they care so much about what they are serving the community. Ive personally been chatted with other customers who drive from as far as Dana Point, San Clemente, Long Beach even though they have places closer to them, they make the trek here. I dont blame them! I would make the drive for this amazing water!Ive personally been there a number of times when they change their filters each month (yes, they change filters every month, sometimes twice per month!) and they are so clean even though the filters are considered no longer good by the owner.I cant say enough good things about this place, the owner and the owners family. Always so friendly and always greet customers with a hello & smile! Any customer will tell you that coming here can turn a tough day into a uplifting day!Best water you will ever treat yourself to. Its also only .25/gallon and has been this low since they opened their doors over 20 years ago! I do not know of one single business that has not raised their prices more than a few times over a period of 20 years. I wish they would raise their prices, so that we can be sure theyll be around for another 20+ years!Awesome place! A must for the health of you and your family!!!

Easily 15+ years.--------- Water Market vs Grocery store ----------Because the water is extremely clean, free of odor, crystal clear, and devoid of whatever nasties flow through our water systems in Huntington Beach. Typically filtered water from brands like Arrowhead are minimally filtered, as the prerogative of big business is almost never to supply to best possible product to consumers, but to maximize income to shareholders. Because of this brand new bottles of Arrowhead water and other big manufacturers can often have TDS of over 100ppm, nitrates, nitrites, and phosphates are also typically present---------------- What do I use it for ----------------Besides drinking, Ive used this water for my aquariums for a very long time. Its particularly useful for Salt Water Reefs and FOWLR systems but also extremely beneficial for freshwater aquariums as well.. The water measures at 0 TDS each time Ive tested it with my Hanna TDS Meter. The water is devoid of some of the harsher metals which can decimate sea-life, such as copper. Without spending nearly $500+ on a 6-stage RO/DI unit of your own, this is the cleanest water you can find.---------- Why does a TDS of Zero matter -----------TDS Stands for Total Dissolved Solids, which is the makeup of organic and inorganic compounds found within the water. This is the test to instantaneously check how many pollutants are free floating within the water. Typically TDS is made up of Organic Compounds, which means dead and rotting things. This can have a significant and adverse reaction in aquariums, and is just plain gross to drink.---------- My test results with Salifert tests ----------Ammonia ------- 0 (NH4)Nitrites --------- 0 (N02)Nitrate ---------- 0 (N03)Phosphate ----- 0 (P04)Copper --------- 0 (CU)Alkalinity ------- 0 (Carbonate Hardness)Magnesium ---- 0 (Mg)Hanna TDS ---- 0
