I worked with Starr over at PM Machines. I found PM through EBAY cross posts and reached out directly. I ended up purchasing a 2008 HAAS SL-10 with low hours in Dec 2020. You can tell the machine was cared for. I had an inspection performed by the local HFO that came up with a few odds and ends that we not working as they should. PM agreed to repair before shipping up to me in Washington state. They handled all the freight logistics to my rigger and made the process all around very smooth. The price was right and the product was well represented with photos and walk around videos. Starr gives me a ring ever few weeks to ask how the machine is doing and remedy anything that seems to not be working as it should. For example, the coolant pump seems to be on its last leg. I suspect the bearings will go any day, Starr and the PM team sent me up a replacement pump to make it right. Its great to see a company who genuinely cares about its customer and their satisfaction. I get better support from PM than my local Haas HFO salesman. If youre on the fence about buying a used machine, do yourself a favor and check out PM, save some dollars, get yourself making parts and if the economy is there, make your money and then upgrade as your need dictates.

I purchased a used lathe from PM in early 2020. Ive had great service and communication from Star. I would do business with PM Machines again and I would recommend them to others.

We had an urgent machine delivery fiasco (thanks covid); we were getting machines IN, but had to get 3 machines OUT first -- permanent like. Starr at PM Machines was on top of everything and really prompt in answering/corresponding with us -- we got their help in selling & removing the 3 older machines THAT SAME DAY we contacted them. Starr was really good at following up after the fact as well; she really took care of all my service needs. I highly recommend PM Machines and their A+ customer service if youre dealing with used tools and/or machines.

I first found PM Machinery on E Bay, I first had contact with Steve, asked several questions about a Bridgeport mill they had listed, Steve answered my questions and was very professional. I then look at several other places in So Cal that sold used machinery. I kept going back to Pm Machinery, I liked them at that point because they were not pushy and were very helpful . This machine is for my hobby shop not commercial use . Anyway I wanted to know who owned the machine and what kind of use it had . Again I called or maybe E mailed and got a reply from Steve, he told me who had the machine and what they used it for . Very helpful. So I decided to hit the purchase button. I then actually called and talked with Starr who works there and we talked about the funds transfer and who and when it would be delivered . What a great Gal..... very helpful and knowledgeable about the machine and the details . It was a pleasure to do business with her. Anyway a short time later the machine was delivered by the riggers . What good professional men . Dropped off my machine and set it in place . The transaction was outstanding. I was looking for a lathe as well and wanted a specific brand. I requested they keep there eye open for one. A month or so later I recurved a call from Starr who stated that Steve had found the brand lathe I wanted . Again the sent pictures of the machine answered all my questions about it. I requested they have their technician do some work to it and I asked if they could find me some other pieces the machine did not have. They found everything I wanted. Never complained and were always happy to hear from me when I called them any way I requested they send the same riggers that brought my mill. There was no problem with that. I just want to say what great people they are and what great representatives they are of PM Machinery . I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for machinery. Great prices, but dont check out machines before selling. Maybe that is how the industry works but the machine I bought from them was in-house and they still shipped it with issues. Will not recommend.
