Picked up a car hauler here. Arrived early Saturday morning. The service was quick and the crew was attentive and prompt. Unit was waiting, checked out, serviced and ready to go.
I had a bad experience returning the truck, with the guy who was checking for the equipments return. He was telling me that i have to pay $25 for cleaning fees because the truck had some greece on the floor in the back. I was trying to explain to him that it was like that since I picked it up. I tried to tell him that theres still a piece of cake and an old contract from the previous rental but all what he was saying is: i have to charge you bro.I showed him the stuff in the glovebox and he grabbed them ignoring me asking to leave it so I can take a picture to file a complain but still, he never listed.I had to go through the trash to pick them up and i have all that on video.He was very rude and I hope that Erickson the guy who took care of us later talks to the manager about this.Erickson was very polite and he apologized for his colleague bad attitude, also de removed the cleaning fees that had nothing to do with me.You should hire more people like Erickson if you want to keep your customers happy.
Surprisingly good store. Had my hitch installed a few years ago and they did decent work. Then went to rent a trailer and expected waiting and problems. Checked in online and rental process very simple and painless. They even loaned me a ball mount because mine was too low. Return could not have been easier. Pulled in and was immediately greeted. Few minutes later he had unhooked everything and I was on my way. Couldnt ask for anything more.
Business of the year!! I was in a terrible spot and Eric at this location saved me I was driving a U-Haul from Florida to California and when I made a stop to visit my daughter I tried to park overnight in the local Walmart (Dwayne) and he told me to leave or buy something. my daughters apartment would not allow a small truck and 5x8 trailer to stay overnight so I called the local U-Haul dealer and spoke with Eric. This man was so nice he made a spot for me and insured my loaded trailer was backed up to the wall and safe. He was so nice and respectful. This man deserves a raise and BZ from corporate. He knows how to treat a disabled veteran. God bless you Eric
I went to this location on Saturday last week to get my new propane tank filled. I pulled into the parking lot and saw a sign by the propane tank that said push botton for service, so I did. Within a minute I had a lot attendant approach me and fill the tank on the spot. He was able to charge my credit card with his portable terminal and I was out of there within a few minutes. Not only was the service spot on and fast, but the price for the gas was the lowest I have seen with NO service charge or minimum charge. Hands down, U-haul is the place to go for propane. They even sell new empty tanks for total convenience that can be filled.Thank you Huntington Beach U-haul for hitting a home run for me and I will be back for more. You will be my only place for propane refills because you care.
Would not recommend this location employees don’t want to help and are rude, my truck precheck was glossed over and barely mentioned which makes more sense as to how and why I was given a beat up truck that needed repairs that had been documented multiple months prior to my rental. 30 minutes into my cross country move the check engine light came on... not what you’re trying to see on a stressful move to another state. For what I paid for the rental equipment I would have expected much higher quality equipment and better service. Do not rent from these people
I just had a terrible experience with U-Haul! I made a reservation of a 5x8 cargo trailer a month ago because Im moving from SoCal to NorCal. However, one day before the pickup date, one U-Haul worker contacted me that he didnt have any 5x8 cargo trailer in his store, but he could help to find trailers from other stores. After a while, he called me back saying that he found a trailer at a nearby place. I was happy about it but then I logged into the system finding that this was the same-town rental! So I called U-Haul scheduler again, and I was told that there was no one-way trailder at all on the entire SoCal area!!! I had to throw away all my furnitues because of this late notice! This is extremely bad experience. Do not rely on U-Haul if youre moving to different cities like me. Ill never use U-Haul again!!!

I rent trailers all the time for my business and this location is my go to after having issues at other locations. Paul and Eric take great care of me every time. I wouldnt go elsewhere
Ive called this number twice and both times Ive spoken with an employee at this location who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I rented a pretty good size truck once as well. I was a rookie and they answered all my questions and helped me along very nicely. I dealt with the owner and he seems like an honest and fair guy.

Absolutely terrible customer service. After simply refusing to reserve my truck, I had to try to submit a claim. Instead of dealing with this to get 1 piece of fairly easily accessible information, they bounced me from number to number only to hang up on me. I will not be using U Haul again due to this absurd customer service.
Great Truck and Equipment rental place. Definitely 1 of the Best U Haul locations around. Ive been using this 1 since 1985.20 years, always have had my reservations ready, and good to roll on time. Excellent selection of Trucks, Trailers, boxes and supplies.When you got to get to work like krazy, these guys arent inept or lazy. They are thd he ones who kno how 2 git it dun... CW rating is a 10 out of 10 to win.
My experience with this place about an hour ago was 5 stars! Went to refilled my propane tanks, service was fast and good customer service. Definitely coming back here again to refill propane tanks! Would recommend it to other people.

Awesome service with changing a reservation! I needed to add days onto multiple Uhuals - easy and fast over the phone! I also wanted to try and pick them up all from the same location, which can be very difficult with Uhual. The guy on the phone said he would email in to get all the reservations under his location and sent me confirmations after. So great!
The people that work here are absolutely incredible. I manage a freight terminal so you would think I would know alot about loading trailers. Andrew that works here went way above and beyond to help get me on the road and loaded properly. Only person I know who would test fit a 750 lbs motorcycle to make sure I was renting the right equipment. Then when I went to pick up he made sure everything was completely secure and strapped down before I left. Cant say enough good for the place and the people who work there. Outstanding.

Pretty helpful and efficient staff there. Im pretty sure they overcharged me though. That being said, I think we accidentally stole a roll of tape. When I told them, they didnt seem to care. So I think we are square.

This U-Haul rents large moving trucks and its been a great help in 2 days notice. The check in process is normal but the check out process is quick and easy. Good service from the employees.
Ive been here two different times and it was bad both times. The first time there was a really nice guy who helped me out a ton. Unfortunately, his co-worker ( possibly his boss) talked to him like he was dirt right in front of me. I felt so bad for the nice guy. The second time I got a ton of attitude from a different guy behind the counter as soon as I walked in. He and I were the only ones there. I couldnt figure out why he gave me such an attitude. I ended up walking out without renting anything. Terrible customer service.
What else can, you ask for rental trucks and Day laborers. I have hired people from there, solid guys .
Ive been renting equipment here for over 25 years. First off this is one of the smaller uhaul locations so choice equipment, especially on weekends, goes quickly. Hence get here early on a Saturday if you want a specific truck AND appliance dolley. Aside from that the staff are friendly, if you are not a jerk. They dont do hard sells, but they do kind of expect you know what you are doing. If you do not know how to operate a very large moving truck, dont rent one.They also refill propane. Buy propane here save over canister exchange.
They almost didnt have my tuck that I reserved and was like a oh well attitude. Luckily I was on time and they gave me a truck that someone else was late for. This was after the manager stepped in. Other than that everything else was smooth.
I went there to refill my propane and they treated me like trash. When I first got there they were just kicking back at their counter and I asked them for a propane refill, they daid ok and then just make me wait. After waiting for a while I couldnt take it so I went back inside and theres a line with 4 customers and so they just ignoring me. It should be 1st come 1st serve but instead they chose to serve those renting truck customers first. Uhaul ought to be better than this. HIREs real workers K!!!Anyhow, I went to Walgreen afterwards to exchange my propane, their workers treat me with courtesy & it took less than 5 mins for the exchanged. I will never go to Uhaul again not even for renting truck!
Called to ask about hand truck rentals. The person who answered was from a call center and could not help me. He didnt know if it was an 8 hr rental or 24. I had to drive there to get relevant info. Not very efficient .

Got my trailer hitch installed at this place; nobody ever answers the phone, so I have to go there four times. At my third visit, I drop off the car and the guy said he need to work on the car for 2 hours. After an hour, he called me saying that they will be closed in 2 hours, and he also have to take a lunch break, so he wanted me to pick up the car and send it back in tomorrow. In the mean time, I was sitting in a nearby Starbucks, and the barista said she have seen several of these incidents form this U-Haul.Finally got my hitch installed on my sixth visit. Thank god.

Limited trailer rentals vs. the amount of car haulers available. Call in advance to reserve a trailer or you might have to postpone your plans.
Customer service was good but the truck broke down as we were going to drop off the truck. The vehicle should have been checked.

So these guys are pretty bad. I made a trailer reservation online at this location a few days in advance and when I got there to pick up the trailer, I was told that the trailer wasnt at this location. So i ended up driving 30 minutes north to another u-haul.
