My fiancé brought an engagement ring for me at Maddeloni Jewelers and two of the small side diamonds fell off. Madeloni replaced them for me at no charge. I appreciated his professionalism of their part. Less than a month later another diamond falls out. This time he told me that a piece of jewelry is like a car that you never know what can happen. When I stated that no one I know has a problem of their diamonds falling out he says that there is no guarantee the diamonds won’t fall out. Thank God for Jewelers Mutual insurance. I am scared to wear my ring now until the wedding because I don’t want any more diamonds to fall out.

I went to Maddaloni Jewelers to get my watch strap fixed. I was told it would be $50 for the part plus $15 shipping. When I came to pick up the watch, I was charged an additional $250 for polishing the watch. When I told the owner I didnt ask for the watch to be polished he said there is nothing he can do. After arguing back and forth for many minutes he said for me to come back tomorrow to pick up the watch so he could put the dents and scratches back on the watch. What kind of attitude and customer service is that? When he left, the sales rep had to step in and offer me to meet me in the middle. I have much higher end watches at home and I enjoy showering my wife with jewelry. I can promise you I will never step foot in this store again.

I purchased a watch at Maddaloni today and couldn’t be happier with the sale. It was my first purchase of a high end watch. The salesman Marco answered all of my questions and explained specific differences between the watches I was looking at and had me wear them. When I decided on which one Mr Maddaloni came and greeted me. I asked if they had some room on the price and he gave me a discount. I feel the discount was good but honestly the professionalism of Marco and Mr Maddaloni made the experience fantastic. I will return for certain.

I had my wifes engagement ring designed there, they made her a matching wedding band and made mine as well. Everything they make is top quality too. I have been going to this jeweler of the last 6 years to have my Tag Hauer battery replaced and watch cleaned up ($90 each time) as they are an authorized dealer. Recently, my watch stopped and I brought it in for a new battery. I was told that it was not the battery and I needed to have the watch repaired at an estimated cost of $395. While I was slightly shocked at the cost of repairs, I realize it is not a cheap watch. After initially telling Marcos to move forward with the repair, I changed my mind. I brought the watch (only under warranty for 2 years btw) to a local place in Northport. For $10 they replaced the battery and it has been working ever since. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN OR REFER ANYONE HERE! Theyve apparently been ripping me off (my bad) and felt fine about taking my money for a repair that was not needed. I dont normally let this kind of thing bring me to this elevated level of annoyance however, if youre reading these reviews, you should know what type of place this is.

I came in for a watch battery and an earring adjustment (both purchased elsewhere). The staff was prompt and they didnt charge me for the earring adjustment. I was very satisfied with the service and came back to replace the battery in my husbands watch. Once again, great service! While I was waiting I found a beautiful Cuervo y Sobrinos watch which I am now wearing! I wouldnt hesitate to purchase from Maddaloni Jewelers. I took my eight year old to get her ears pierced. First time piercing and a very important mile stone.We were welcomed with a high level of professionalism, previously I had called Maddeloni Jewelers to make an appointment and a request that her ears should be pierced at the same time than one ear at a time. Maddeloni Jewelers were very accommodating. My daughter and I were received by a warm friendly staff and the piercing stage was handled in a clean environment the earrings themselves were in a sanitized sealed box, through out the process they were sensitive to my daughters needs and also hesitations. I will definitely be recommending Maddeloni Jewelers to all my family and friends.

When looking for a prospective jeweler for an engagement ring, needless to say the entire ordeal of looking for someone to trust is incredibly tiring. After about a week of searching, I came across Maddaloni Jewelers and we found that they are best in Long Island, NY metro area.

What a let down! In the past 3 years my family has spent thousands in your store. We have had 3 custom diamond pieces made and so when 1 broke we knew it wouldnt be a problem to bring it in and have it fixed. I am astonished that you thought charging $100 for the fix was appropriate. As a military family, we live out of state and you then wanted to charge an extra $30 to send it back to back to us. You had no problem covering shipping when we first bought it. Whether it is a design flaw or an honest mistake by using the wrong chain, I would have expected better customer service to long time customers. I have never heard of a gold necklace breaking a gold pendant but you insisted it was obviously our fault. The funny thing is- my husband went in that day to repair the necklace and find a Michele watch. Unfortunately you have lost us and our family as customers.

I have tiny fingers and a different jeweler we went to was too afraid to resize an antique ring. Maddaloni Jewelerss resized it in only a few hours because we were traveling from out of town and were leaving in a few days. I love my ring! Excellent and friendly service. They also fixed my designer watch.

I went to this jewler because they are Tag Heuer dealer and my Tag wj1117-0 needed 2 links to fit me (this watch has a dull stainless bezel and band is designed having one polished stainless then one dull stainless link etc....), they told me that I needed to leave my watch because they needed to order the links in for me @ $125 installed, at that time I had no objection. We were also talking about fully polishing the watch, after a long conversation I asked to please fully polish the whole watch for me. The salesperson did tell me that that wasnt the original design of the watch but it was my watch and I he could do what I wanted for $180, he also told me my whole watch would look like a mirror ( exactly what I wanted).When I picked my watch up..... WOW was I surprised because my watch was not done the way I wanted, but in fact the original way that it was supposed to be. THATS NOT WHAT I WANTED and all they wanted to do for me is give me a measly $60 off ( HOW ABOUT JUST POLISH THE WATCH). I walked away paying $245 ( $120 for the polish that wasnt done)

I give Number 1 for this store and staff. Excellent guys.
