The best donuts around! My husband brought us some home and normally I dont care for donuts, but I absolutely love this Jolly Pirate! We live about a hour or so away and drive up there just for donuts. They are always so soft and fresh. I highly recommend the apple donuts. Absolutely amazing!

Me and my wife stopped here last night around 2 am on a road trip and we were blessed to find them open. We Only tried the donuts/cinnamon rolls, so we cannot speak to the Greek side of the restaurant but WOW. I can truly say that they were the best donuts we have ever had and the customer service was amazing. The older gentleman behind the counter was lighthearted and happy to help. Overall, amazing experience (and open 24/7 is just a bonus) Definitely recommend!!

We always take visitors here, our church buys donuts for Sundays. Their donuts are excellent and kids love the pirate chest they come in. But...dont limit yourself. They are a Greek restaurant. They have wonderful gyros, turnovers, and baklava. Service is courteous and good. Always a delight.

The name Jolly Pirate how fun is that! Busy is an understatement. During our visit the drive thru was wrapped down the street & a line out the door. This didnt deter us from stopping. The line seemed long, but it moved quickly. Most doughnut shops are sold out after 2pm, not this place & they were refilling the shelves. Ive heard of bakers dozen; how about Pirate Dozen of 13. Fresh, flavorful, adequate filling, tasty fillings, glazes, frosting, & other great toppings think nuts & coconut. My favorite was the Apple Spice - soft exterior, tastes of pie, & lightly frosted dusted with spice. Treat yourself to some treasure.

These were Absolutely the best donuts I have ever had in my life! I would honestly drive back the whole 3 hours just to get the pirate dozen (13). Very cakey and they arent shy with the fillings.

Amazing donuts. Amazing service. There were four police cars that pulled into the parking lot though and it was a little scary but everything inside of the restaurant was good.

Weve made it a little ritual to stop here whenever were nearby. The doughnuts are amazing, my personal favourite is the peanut one but if you have a nut allergy my second favourite is easily the banana cream! The packaging here is super adorable and I always order a dozen so I can feel like I have a real pirates treasure haha!

Good Gyros, and the staff was super nice to my toddler. This is one of my favorite spots in Huntington. Get the Gyro platter you wont regret it ! Also they have had some pretty cool special donuts lately ! Def worth stopping in if you are ever in the Huntington area!

Ive been waiting a looong time to try these donuts (thanks for the rec, McElroys!). The light, delicate dough has a satisfying slight crunch and then melts in your mouth. The icing, rich without being overwhelming, somehow doesnt collapse the donut structure. The waffled texture on the outside contrasts the smoothness of the icing perfectly. Every topping I tried was incredible. And the boxes are aesthetically pleasing. The staff was fantastic and it was easy to order. Plus you get a free donut with a dozen! Nicely done, yall!

Soft donuts but they sure have changed there is not even a tea spoon of cream inside. Maybe the owner will see this and change his amount of filling that goes in. When businesses go into different hands they always have to change and I dont know why.

Looks a little too old. Donuts are good, but not the best for the price. Id consider this to support this location. I prefer Dunkin donuts than these donuts.

Best donuts & gyros in the tri-state area!

Grew up less than 5 mins from here, so we ate Jolly Pirates often. My husband also worked there for a long time, and brought us home a lot of donuts he made, and they were amazing!!! Waitresses are always very polite also.

Had gyros and Greek seasoned french fries. Absolutely great food! Highly recommend the gyros and fries.

Best gyro Ive had in a while..

I grew up less than a mile from here and it was always a great to get donuts. They have the freshest and most delicious donuts Ive ever ate. I live about 45 min away now and I havent ate there in a few years but if its still anything like I remember, perfect! No one tops Jolly Pirates! My fav is the powdered sugar and I wish I could have one now lol

The lady that took my order was as friendly and nice as she could be but the donuts were disgusting. Every flavor tasted the same. Like old cooking oil. Will never shop at this location again. GROSS!!

Oh my god these donuts are AMAZING! We were in Cincinnati for a wedding and drove down to check out Huntington, thanks to the McElroy Brothers. It was worth the drive. The donuts are fresh, not greasy and the flavors are fantastic. Plus, they come in a treasure chest! I would travel back to Huntington just for these donuts.

We have been going there for over 20 years. Its time to find a new place. The donuts were hard and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. There was no difference in taste from glazed to deviled food. A waste of money!!

I am not in Huntington often but, when I do stop, this place is an absolute must. I have been eating their donuts since my grandfather bought them for me as a little girl and they are still among the best around.

A small red headed girl took out trash,smoked a cigarette came inside took a doughnut tray out of the case. Sweep the floor and waiting on customers. Never did wash hands or wear gloves. Nasty

Only 4 stars because they were out of my absolute favorite donuts when I came to visit after having moved out of town and on my visit back after a couple years-- glazed (honey dipped) and cruellers. But they were only out probably because of how amazing they are. High demand. Peas out.

The only real option for freshly made donuts in the Huntington area. The establishment is a bit run down but the staff was friendly and courteous. The donuts I ordered were good and they offer a military discount.

When I saw the sign for Jolly Pirate I knew I had to try it. I love donuts almost as much as strangely named restaurants. The fact that they also serve Greek food just added to the novelty, even though I dont like Greek.I had a couple of donuts and hot chocolate. The donuts were average. Nothing like donuts from my favorite places, but better than a lot Ive had. The hot chocolate was good. Often I find that hot chocolate is disappointing from restaurants, but this was some of the best Ive had short of high priced places. For $4 total it was a great deal.

Fantastic Greek gyros! Doesnt really get better than this when it comes to an authentic Greek gyro that takes you all the way to the country itself with its flavors. The falafel is perfectly cooked and seasoned, a delight with the yogurt and the spicy Hades gyro is fantastic as well! The spice combines perfectly with the thinly sliced lamb and onions! The prices are fantastic as well for the value they offer, and once finished with your coffee and gyros, you can pickup a variety of tasty donuts after!Lastly, I cant emphasize enough how friendly and fantastic the staff there is! I have never met a nicer group of staff members at any restaurant ever!

We were so delighted with this quaint shop in a beautiful small hillside town. It was my birthday and we were on a days-long road trip so we didnt want to haul a cake around. We spent half of Kentucky looking forward to crossing into WV to get these donuts. They didnt disappoint! The cute treasure box made it all the more memorable. If I lived anywhere within 2,000 miles of this store Id go back more often!

The best donuts by far! I left Huntington 10 years ago when I moved to New York. Now every time I come back I have to get a dozen. My wife, a Californian, is now hooked. The donuts are light and not too sweet. Great flavor!

Only one of Jolly Pirates two stores are left, but the quality has remained the same through the years. They produce what are possibly the most perfect donuts. Their black raspberry filled donuts taste like secret sin. The old-fashioned donuts are perfectly crispy outside, and tender as a virgins heart inside. Their bear claws could easily cause diabetes, as once you start eating them, its almost impossible to stop.If you desire a delicious donut, served in groups of bakers dozens, you cannot go wrong with a visit to Jolly Pirate.
