I visited the Fitness Showrooms in Huntington the Tuesday before Black Friday and the experience was great. I was met by Dave the general manager who was very helpful. I was looking for a home gym and he brought me to that part of the showroom. I couldn’t believe how many machines were setup on the floor. Every machine looked like it was built and ready for a commercial gym. Dave started asking questions regarding what I was looking for and helping me narrow down the choices. I found Dave to be a good listener and not like a typical salesperson who was pushing me to a piece of equipment. After an hour of Q&A I settled on the Life Fitness G4. When we started talking about price Dave didn’t try to fool around and came out with a terrific number. He also threw in things like free shipping, setup and a workout rope he knew I would need (without me asking). As you can imagine this was the Tuesday before Black Friday and I had my hesitations about buying now and finding cheaper on Black Friday. Dave assured me this would not happened and if it did to call him. Well it did, as it happens the company that makes Life Fitness decided to put their equipment on sale! I callled Dave and he immediately investigated this and made an adjustment to my cost. Additionally, he threw in an additional full service warranty period because this happened. This was all done on Black Friday. How he fit this in with everything else he had going that day I have no idea. Dave didn’t make excuses or try to explain it away. I found Dave to be a very honest person and a man of his word. For the record I didn’t a significant amount of price research before Black Friday and Dave had given me the best price and all the extras. Other webistes were more expensive, didn’t offer in-home warranty service and had estimated delivery dates of 4-6 weeks! Not Dave...Well the machine was delivered and assembled within a week. The guys that showed up were quick, clean and professional. I had read online where it would take 3+ hours to setup the machine but they were done in 90 minutes. They really knew what they were doing. Then instead of running out the door one of the guys took the time to make sure I was comfortable with how the machine worked and he even showed me some excercises. Terrific service. I did read one of the complaints below about leaving boxes. I was asked if it was okay to leave the boxes and where I wanted them. Since I have curbside recycle pickup every Wednesday I had no problem keeping the boxes.In summary, this was one of the best shopping experiences I had and what made the difference for me was Dave! Next time I am buying a piece of fitness equipment it will be real easy, I will just go see Dave.

This was my second visit to Fitness Showroom, and my second encounter with Scott. My family and I were interested in purchasing some equipment for the house, but we weren’t sure what we wanted to buy. Scott came and introduced himself, and very thoughtfully and honestly answered our questions. We told him we were not quite ready to buy that day, that we had to take measurements of our space, etc., and Scott did not pressure us at all nor made us feel obligated to make any hasty decisions. We thanked him for his time and went on our way. A few weeks later we met again, this time we were more informed about what we could accommodate in our space. Scott was very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He was very willing to work with us both on price point and on selling us what we would actually use. He did not try to upsell us but he did make sure that we bought machines which would be built to last. Overall we had a great experience and have already recommended him to friends who share the same mindset as us. Thank you, Scott!

Bought a Spirit SBR 55 from the Huntington store. From the minute I walked in Scott was extremely helpful and made me feel very confident in his honesty and integrity. This was carried over tenfold when I contacted the office about delivery, setup etc. Nikki C took charge and was instrumental in helping me receive quick and professional delivery! No hard sell - just FACTS! He was an absolute pleasure. Delivery was flawless - they came earlier than they were supposed to (which was terrific), set up quickly and efficiently... and all is good!

Went out to check out some equipment after pandemic happened. I came across this store and decided to check it out. Everything was well organized and Scott ( salesman ) was there to help with anything i needed. He was knowledgeable about his products and did hooked me up with some great deal given the price gauging in the current situations. I came back after a month again and Scott helped me picked some good stuff at a great price. I might go back again if this pandemic doesn’t end anytime soon. It’s definitely Lot cheaper than amazon or any other site to get weights or other equipments. P.S They do have minimum inventory left.

The owner was very helpful..not pushy at all,and they have a nice showroom with lots of excercise equipment...they have plenty of cardio,bikes,weights and accessories there,with lots of home gyms....limited parking in front.

We had a great experience yesterday when we went to Huntington to purchase a home treadmill. The showroom is laid out in an organized, clean manner that enabled us to examine the large selection of fitness equipment that is offered. Scott made us feel very comfortable, not rushed even when another potential buyer walked in. He is knowledgeable, understanding of the different goals of clients, and definitely did not push us to purchase. We have bought equipment prior to this visit and, again, bought our new treadmill yesterday, feeling that we made the right choice in the right place.

Went into the showroom to see about getting some gym equipment since in NY gyms are still closed and who the hell knows when they will reopen. These guys went above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer. I purchased a Life Fittness home gym and within a few days I received a text confirming delivery. I also received a call from the driver when he was 20-30 min away.Install went well with the exception of a couple of broken plates which was no fault of Fitness Showrooms. They came on a Wed and in 2 days (Friday) a technician came, just as promised to replace the broken plates and to install a leg press. Mike was very attentive to the details, he clearly knew the breath of the brands he represented.Once finished with the install, Mike tidied up. He removed all plastic and corrugated boxes, then came back from loading up his vehicle for a Final once over. He gave me instructions on how to maintain the machine for optimum performance and insisted I register the machine in the rare case it required warranty work, and by having it registered it would make it easy for his Co to get work and parts approved by Mfg.I understand this is a family owned and operated co. They care about their employees, and buy lunch for them daily including the warehouse staff. Not something you see everyday in todays business environment.Its been a pleasant experience dealing with Fitness Showrooms.

This is legitimately my first review I’ve ever written for anyone. I mention this as my experience at the showroom was great. I’m used to going places and everything is about sneaky sale pitches and cliche sale strategies. I dealt with Scott the manager and it was a pleasure. I came in with precise requests as I’m building a small gym in my garage with limited space. Great equipment pieces were suggested for my needs and most importantly, let’s be realistic for whoever cares to read this, prices were unmatchable in comparison to any other distributor I’ve shopped prior to my visit here. Clean, organized and deceptive in facility size (Huntington). Plenty of equipment to see upstairs and downstairs. Go see Scott!

Its hard to fully capture the greatness of my experience with Fitness Showrooms - the entire team, but in particular with David. Heres a storefront business that can change your life! The showroom is filled with a rich collection of professional equipment, but what is not so evident is the professionalism of the organization (from sales to service) - until you step into their world. I walked in weighing 238 lb and just 8 months later (with a few pieces of gear and some basic guidance) I am at 177. Its a great place to be and for me it was Life Changing. Being tired of going to the Y to work out, I thought about buying an Elliptical for home. But after researching on line and going to retailers I became frustrated. During Christmas week my wife and I went to Fitness Showrooms in Huntington. David asked me relevant questions and then was able to show me the Life Fitness line which I preferred using at the Y- if available. Not only did we buy the Elliptical, but we added a Life Fitness Treadmill and a Hudson Ab Bench. David providedus an unbeatable package deal including white glove delivery and assembly. Within a week his crew had us all set up at home. Yes we spent more than I planned but we got so much more. My wife and I recently purchased a LifeFitness Club series treadmill from Fitness Showrooms in Huntington. The experience was great from start to finish. I recently purchased a spinBike for my wife an Olympic bench for me- was very happy. Great quality of the equipment and David was very laid back. Very easygoing and the whole process was so quick and straight forward. Ill definitely go back!!

After spending about 1.5 hours in the store, receiving a price from the salesman David, and getting close to purchasing a piece of equipment, we told David we wanted to go home and do some research on the product (make sure the reviews on the equipment were positive, and that it was overall the best equipment for me based on what other products were out there on the market- something a reasonable person making a $3,000 purchase would do after their first trip to learn about the equipment). After we mentioned this to David, he told us I will LET you go home and do your own research, but dont expect me to honor the price I gave you. Ive had a lot of sales experiences in my life, but this might have been one of the worst.I found the equipment I was looking for at another shop down the road, for a better price, in a much less shady sales environment. If you are like me, and prefer to make informed choices when purchasing expensive things, I would recommend you skip this place.

I had a fantastic experience last week at Fitness Showrooms. Kristen Conte could not have been more helpful. I brought my three children with me to the showroom and Kristin helped me with all of them while I was trying out treadmills. She was very knowledgeable about all of the equipment, never pressured me, and, over the next day, was very available by phone whenever I had any questions. Once I had decided on a treadmill, she was able to arrange delivery 2 days later! I could not have asked for a better experience with making this purchase and I am confident that she, and the entire Fitness Showroom staff, will be more than helpful in the future. I am thrilled I made this purchase from the company!

The Fitness Show Room was amazing. The the experience started with David walking me through all the various types of equipment for both resistance and aerobic training. Dave made a personal trip to the house to assess the room that I was building for a personal dream gym. He custom made a full Hudson gym w life fitness treadmill, and a helix. Day of Delievery, the team that was sent to the house was just oustanding, courteous, diligent and clean. The whole set up took about 6-7 hours, working tirelessly the whole time. David called several times during the process to make sure that everything was done right and there was anything else that he could help us with. I recently bought a Vison Recumbent Bike and Im loving it! Since breaking my ankle, I can no longer run and was starting to gain weight back. Given the harsh winter and rainy start weve had to this spring, being able to workout at home has helped me shed the unwanted pounds before beach season! I worked with a great salesperson, David, who was highly informative and patient with all my questions. I would recommend him and Fitness Showroom to anyone who is in need of home exercise equipment.

My wife and myself recently moved 2 months ago and I was tasked with turning our guest room into a furnished home gym. Dave presented us with several options based on our budget, specifically a new treadmill & free weight set that could be used by both my wife and myself. In mid December of 2015 I came to the realization that I had to slim down, my daughters wedding was next summer, so I started a walking regime. I also started watching my intake, especially carbs. At 20 lbs down in April, while on a business trip, I was using the hotel elliptical, and decided to get one, but I knew nothing. Fitness Showrooms was recommended, and so I stopped by. David inquired as to what my situation was, and he recommended 3 units. After a bit of research I came back and he put together a very good deal for me on a Vision Fitness S72000HRT, so far, very happy and would suggest that anyone in the market for a club quality unit, to stop by and check things out at Fitness Showrooms. You will be happy you did.P.S. As of May Im at the 25 lb mark and hoping the elliptical gives me another kick forward.I am now in the June time period, my weight, down 33+ and feeling confident that I can go even lower. Yes, my elliptical is part of a larger plan. Im eating better (and less), Im exercising more and I can purchase smaller cloths.One other note, my elliptical is a mechanical device, and as such, might require some service. It did need some adjustments. Fitness Showrooms is not just there for the purchase, their Tech department (and Steve in particular) was very dedicated to make sure my unit was 100%, and it now is. I do not usually enjoy my experiences when shopping retail as i usually find sales people to be pushy and dishonest. That was completely OPPOSITE from the experience I had shopping at Fitness Showrooms. I walked in with my whole family and was immediately greeted by David. He introduced himself as the General manager and immediately made us all feel right at home. We werent exactly sure what we wanted and he immediately began asking us questions( if we had any injury history, hw often we were looking to use the equipment, a price range etc) so he could get a better idea what we wanted so he could give us some options. We ended up trying out a few different treadmills and we were deciding between 2 different options from life fitness. David Gave us an education on the difference between the 2 and then we decided that we liked the Life fitness Club series Plus treadmill better. We then began to discuss price- David could not have been more easygoing about it. He explained that he had the best price in the country and he implored us to take out our phones as we could confirm everything he was saying. We didnt need to- I have a good read on people and I knew right away that he was telling us the truth. I was incredibly impressed with him- we had not originally intended to purchase on the spot but he gave us an offer we could not refuse. I would imagine this happens often for him as the price was far below what we thought we would pay and far less than any competitive price we saw on line. We Have already told our Neighbors and family members to go see David for any equipment they may need( the store is huge- we will be going back to purchase a home gym.) If you are in the market for gym equipment, go to fitness showrooms. You will not be disappointed- I sure wasnt!

I recently purchased a Life Fitness T3 Treadmill at the showroom location in Huntington. My experience there was wonderful- my husband and I were reluctant to say the least at buying any equipment But the Salesperson David Shickler made us feel at home within the first minute we were there. He offered us water and coffee and chatted with us about what we were looking for. He asked a series of questions and made it clear that he was trying to be as thorough as possible so he could recommend the best possible product to fit our needs. We had shopped around and let me just say that this was very different than other places we went to. David gave us a series of options and spoke specifically about how each would fit our needs. We chose the T3 over other treadmills because after testing all of them we felt it would be the best option. When we decided which treadmill we wanted, the negotiation couldnt have been easier. David gave us not only the best price (trust me we looked) but he also included an extra service plan and a mat. My treadmill was delivered last week and David called me right afterwards to make sure everything went smoothly. Overall this entire process was fabulous. I would give my experience with Fitness Showrooms 10 stars if I could- I will be purchasing all equipment from this showroom in the future and will absolutely feel comfortable recommending this to anyone who needs equipment

I recently bought a 1450 Vectra home gym and couldnt be happier with the product I received from Fitness Showrooms in Huntington. I worked with David at the showroom and he was incredibly patient and knowledgeable about his products. David understood what I was looking for and didnt try to add on anything else that was outside of my budget.I have already been back to purchase dumb bells for my fiancé and David was able to get me a great deal on the price again.The Vectra is a phenomenal piece of equipment that allows you to do almost any workout. Test it out yourself at the showroom to see how smooth and easy it is to use. I am happy I made this investment so that I NEVER have to go to another gym again.Last but not least - the delivery of the equipment was on time and put together without any hiccups. I highly recommend not only this machine but this location to anyone looking to invest in their own health.
