After moving to NE Kentucky we bought a wonderful home, but the problem with it was a main floor fireplace that had been converted to gas. We contracted Hearth & Patio to put in a wood burning insert and stacked stone fireplace. The work and attention to detail were top notch. They were absolute perfectionist in the work and never left our home dirty. We now have the most beautiful fireplace, and are looking forward to many warm winter nights with family.

I have called hearth and patio twice. The first time was about a month before Thanksgiving when I went into the store and talk with one of the owners. I was told it would be about 2 or 3 weeks. I heard nothing from them so I called and talked to another owner and was told it would be another 2 or 3 weeks. Its now February and I still havent heard from them. I find this to be very rude out of Hearth and Patio to just keep people hanging on and never getting in touch with them. Im only giving them one star because I have too

Very nice selection of fireplaces.

Avoid this place. They operate in a disorganized state of chaos. The store on Rt. 60 doesnt even use computers. A total mess. We wasted 11 months trying to buy and get a direct vent stove installed. They are incompetent and totally unable to get the job done.

We chose this shop because a local shop keep dropping the ball on ordering parts and calling back. My mom purchased an expensive fireplace unit in JULY and it STILL isnt working in November! VERY disappointed with the service. The sales team was great - but the installation and service to get it working properly has been pitiful. Unfortunately, I cant recommend this place to my family and friends.

They installed 2 sets of logs and cleaned our chimneys as well. We have been very please with their service and follow through.

I have a difficult time giving one star. This place is currently installing a gas fireplace in our home. They started 12/2 and what was supposed to be a one day job has now lasted three days. They do not work in the rain, yes I said they do not work in the rain. The customer service (If thats what it can be called) is NOT there. Ive had to make several calls back to the store regarding the ordering of the product and installment. We went with this company, as we believe in the small local business, but this one scares me. They say they stand behind their work but if this is what it is like to get it installed, I hate to see what the repair process is.

They have a lot of things but it can be difficult to park.
