Northen Tool is located on Governors W not far past Cabelas but before you reach Slaughter Road. I busted my knuckles too many time trying to inflate my John Deere front mower tires and get them to seal on the rim. I also tried installing inflatable inner tube in the rims. But every time I tried to reseat the tire on the rim the tube would get a puncture leak. After patching both tire tubes and still leaking I decided that I had had it with these inflatable tires and inner tubes.I looked up the tire sizes on Amazon, and several other vendor websites. They were available similar tires on several website but would take anywhere from several days to two weeks to ship. I looked them up on-line on the Northern Tool website and found they has several types of tires that would fit my John Deere riding mower. I was even more excited to see that Northern Tool had a Marathon Flat Free tire with the rim for only $47.99 each, a pair of tires and rims for a total of only $95.98. AND THEY HAD THEM IN STOCK.I drove to the store to make sure they were the right size for my mower and was greeted by a very polite Northern Tool employee named Julia. I looked in the trailer aisle and found the two flat free tires with rims in stock as shown on their website. As I approached the check out counter Julie politely asked if there was anything else I needed. No, fortunately that was all I needed but it was good of her to ask because I often go to the store to get something and forgot what I was shopping for.I asked Julia if they offer a military discount as it was Veterans Day Monday. She said they honor veterans by offering a discount all year long. Northern tool is a great industrial supply for equipment or tools for home or your business. They have the top brand names and if they dont have it in stock you can order what you need online and have it to to your home or business.Northern Tool is a great place to shop and has friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bought a pressure washer in January, finally ran it for 30-45 minutes this week, and the motor fell off because the motor mounts melted. Took it in to get it replaced or repaired. 3-5 days for parts, asked about a replacement because I have to have it tomorrow and was told thats not possible. I can leave it and come back to get it later, which means multiple trips to the store, which I was trying to avoid. Finally talked to a regional manager who told me to take it back to get a replacement. Ill go back for the simple things like a wrench or welding rods, but Ill never buy another high value item there again.

They refused to sell me a display model on something they would be out of stock on for the next two months....why....because it would have took a little work to get it down...two minutes worth.

Setting up a work utility trailer. They have all the items needed for attaching tools to the wall and securing a tool case to the wall. Also got the items I needed to install an air pressure system in my garage. Great supply place.

I have been coming to this store since grand opening. Personnel have always been helpful and polite. We found a shortage of one item we we looking for but, when you sell long sleeve T shirts with pockets for $5, it would be very difficult to know how much to stock! Besides, we showed up Monday after Black Friday weekend! Duh! I dont rate anyone perfect because none of us are.

Good supply of a variety of tools and supplies at reasonable prices. Great sales on good products periodically.

Good overall, with a few exceptions. 1. I use a password generator to strengthen my passwords. I had no idea that the webpage changed my generated password by one character due to capitalizing it and it doesn’t like that. 2. There was a check box to save certain information. If that check box is non-functional then it needs to be removed. 3. If I am already signed into the page, why am I asked to sign in again to check out? These problems aren’t deal breakers but they are certainly annoying and on a less relaxed day, I would have been much less patient and looked for my items elsewhere. Good overall site but too many troublesome hoops.

Far too much in your face surveillance. On customers like flies at a picnic. I have shopped here out of necessity since the store opened. I never browse because employees eyes on are ridiculous. Unfortunate and perhaps discriminatory. Employee that has worked the floor since its opening has been the worst. Clean store and needed merchandise. Unpleasant and undignified shopping experience. Northern Tool needs to find an alternate method of surveilling customers.

Great service and good product selection

Put on hold for more than 8 minutes so I hung up and called back and again was put on hold for another 8 to 10 minutes. Also when I went to the store to buy something that they had told me on the phone that they had it, 2 different associates said they didnt have it but then finally another associate said they would need to move some boxes in the back to get it and she did. It was like they other two were too lazy to look. I have to drive about 35 or 40 miles from home to the store.

Luckily I was approached by an associate and asked if I needed assistance before I even had time to check for wifi. He was very knowledgeable and took me directly where I needed to be, all while explaining the options and prices with a smile on his face. Wanted a drill operated water pump to empty a fish tank. They had just what I wanted. First time there, so I did some browsing. Wide selection of tools and equipment. Its a little hard to find but worth the trouble. Will probably become my #1 tool store.

I found the store very clean, organized and easy to get around. The personnel were all very nice and the young lady at the register was so helpful. I left there with new happiness. I enjoyed the visit and the purchases.

I’ve been a huge Northern Tool fan for years and have spent money in multiple locations throughout the country, but this location has absolutely the worst selection and prices I’ve ever seen. Someone needs to step in.

Hand tools and other items seem good quality. Like any tool store you need to research the quality and bounce it against other brands and compare. But never ever order anything. Ordering things takes weeks upon weeks to arrive. If you call the store to see if they know when it will ship they will tell you they have no idea and to call customer service, If you call customer service all they can tell you is yes it has been ordered and it is awaiting to be packed on the next truck to your store location, But, again they have no idea when that will happen. This has happened not once but every single time I order something. I mean weeks and weeks of waiting. So as long as you are not in a hurry then you will be ok.

Gave a 1 star because that’s as low as I could mark or it be a zero!!! Call for a certain boot, was told they carry it from the employee that answered the phone. Drive 50 miles to find out they not only they don’t have that boot but they don’t even carry the brand in store I ask for. Spoke to the manager and ya need to find a new job buddy!! Made a bunch of excuses for the employee and himself of only being at this location for a couple weeks!!! I WILL NEVER BUY A SINGLE THING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I’ll be sure to pass my experience on to everyone I talk too as well!!!

Doesnt smell like Chinese rubber. The house brands all seem to be higher quality than Hazzard Fraught, though some of the generic stuff is the same sort of crapola. The carts are these goofy half size baskets on full size frames that you bang into stuff because theyre twice as long as they should be. Also the aisles are too narrow for the carts so maneuvering is a pain. Generally positive experience with some small issues to square away.

They have a lot of name brands here at reasonable prices. Good layout of the store and they offer repairs.

Seems to be pretty well organized with friendly employees. Prices and selection of items similar to Harbor Freight, but this is much closer to Madison if you live in that area.
