I dont normally leave reviews but I wanted to point out how great my experience was at this location. I came in stressed, never having my car battery die before, and not knowing what to do and the gentleman who helped me (I think his name was Trey?) was very calm, patient, friendly and overall great to work with. I really appreciated his calmness because I was very anxious about the entire situation. 10/10 customer service. I would absolutely recommend this store if you are ever in a car-related situation.

I would like to say my experience with Christopher and Nick today was awesome. They went above and beyond to help me out with my battery issue, their customer service skills I give a 10+. You guys Rock.😀

They had some good options to get my battery replaced and exchanged it in 10 minutes on the parking lot. Convenient and fast.

Bryan is amazing! He helped me find the right bulb, was very polite and changed it for me as well. I have called other business to see if they could change it and they were rude and flat out said no.Alll my car needs will be taken to this Auto Zone and will be asking for Bryan! Give that man a raise.

I had SUCH a wonderful experience with J.P. and Rona when I went on a rainy day and needed windshield wipers! They helped me immediately find the type I needed, showed me them in the aisle, AND HOOKED THEM UP!!! Even when they had to troubleshoot different connectors - they kept going. I feel soooo happy!!

Fast service. They tested the battery and put in a new one in about 20 minutes. Had me back on the road and ready to go that quickly. They were courteous and explained the issues to me and made sure I knew how to get a warranty replacement if the worst should happen. Cant ask for any more than this out of a parts shop! I had to tell the lady where to put the red and black cables on my battery, then, she ran the diagnostic without my car on. Told me a need a new battery. Horrible

I’m not one who typically writes a review but if felt this one was necessary. I went today to test and potentially purchase two marine batteries. I was told one of my batteries was bad by the manager, he then told me he had two batteries in stock that were equivalent to the two I had. Today is 1/22/19, he brings out on battery that was shipped out on January 2018 and one from September 2018. I told him I didn’t want to purchase the battery that had been on the shelf for over a year. He then tells me he didn’t blame me and to check other stores they may have a newer one. I requested the type of windshield wiper blades my vehicle used and purchased a driver, passenger, and rear blade. I made my transaction and he looks at the two batteries he brought forward, then says this is the one you wanted and hands me the one from January 2018. Ok, could be an honest mistake right? Walk out and load my sept battery and remember seeing a second battery on the shelf that was like the one i just purchased. I went back in to see the January 2018 battery placed along side an October 2018 battery... I then purchased the October 2018 battery and went on my way. 1. He was going to sell me a year old battery. 2. Thank goodness I noticed it was a year old battery both before my purchase and after my purchase when he tried to give it to me a second time. 3. I get home and not one of my three wiper blades fit my vehicle and I had to make another trip to a different autozone for them to tell me those blades wouldn’t work and gave me a refund.Will be a long time before I find myself in another Autozone.

New windshield wiper

I dropped by AutoZone on Jordan Lane between Sparkman Drive and Pulaski Pike after 3 p.m. on my way home from playing tennis at Oakwood University on Sunday November 5th 2017 to check and repair a brake light. Pep Boys had told me about it when I got my oil changed a couple of weeks ago and a gentleman told me it was out while I was on the road during the week. I took my LoJack and placed it between my briefcase and against the break to check it. I already had tools in the car from fixing my window couple of weeks ago. I found a star studded head and used a screwdriver handle but couldnt get enough torque to turn the screw. I went on YouTube to figure it out and they were using some type of ratchet. I went inside but they did not have I guess what would be an adapter. In the meanwhile a gentleman had just helped a customer and I called out to him. He turned it and it worked. He said I must have loosened it up really good but didnt realize it. He took both bolts out popped out the plastic covering where the bulbs were and figured which one was bad based on its appearance. To double-check he told me to press the brake light. He popped everything back together, screw the assembly back to the car, bingo. I wish Id gotten his name, he was courteous professional and efficient. I gave this a 4 rating because the first person had no clue how to help me.

Jeep lost serpentine belt due to a broken tensioner pulley in the middle of lunchtime traffic but I managed limp to the nearest Autozone where they had the replacement part in stock. Borrowed a loaner tool and with a little assistance from an employee, I was able to replace the tensioner and make it to work on time. Big thanks.

Terrible they had no idea what I was looking for

Employees attitudes vary. Sometimes they are helpful, and other times they act like Im a nuisance. On one occasion an employee there tested my alternator, told me I needed a new one, when my battery just needed tightening. I wasted my money on an alternator because of the inaccurate diagnosis.

My headlight went out and it was raining. I didnt want to get pulled over by the police so I went to the nearest autozone which was the one on Jordan Lane. The guy was hesitant about helping me, but he said he would look at my headlight. When he was pulling out the head light he broke a piece, but claimed it was already broke. So instead of fixing the problem he rung me up for a new light bulb and told me to go down to an auto shop on nick fitchard and theyll be able to help me. Bottom line this guy didnt know what he was doing and didnt want to deal with me or fix the problem. The next day I went to the autozone on the parkway and they fixed it within 5 minutes.

Horrible service! Walked in to get a head light for my car and they told me I needed this special $107 light. I was surprised and asked if I could use one of the cheaper ones. They told me no and then said they couldnt put it in my car. They directed me to a shop where I would get a discount and the people there told me it would be $80 to put it in. It didnt sound right so I went to my dealership and they changed my bulb in 10 minutes and told me I didnt need any special bulb. Have to now drive back to return the bulb. DO NOT USE this store. They just trying to rip you off!
