Great service and a great variety of beers. Mick at the bar was very friendly and accomodating. The entertainment was great, with a very nice atmosphere.

Great beer and great folks. But please update your opening times on your door. Came by at 11:30 Saturday to fill growlers for the weekend and you were closed in spite of your door sign saying you open at 11:00. We dont all check the internet for updates when we try to do what weve done before. :(

Update Oct-2018: Astounded that Chase remembered me since I’ve only been here once. There’s a larger local crowd and they are ALL really cool. This is my goto now when I’m in town.Great spot for local, regional and national craft beers. Very nice tap selection with something for every taste. And you can sample whatever you want. The staff (Chase) was knowledgeable and cool with a great taste in music.I disagree with C. Spalding’s review below because there isn’t a hipster vibe here at all (interesting he still gave 4 stars). I came in early and Chase was friendly and knew something about every beer we discussed. And the tunes were great - he changed it up as he went and asked it it was too loud at one point. It is worth the trip downtown to have a beer here because you cant find many of these regional selections elsewhere.I’ll be back again.

Stopped by while we were on vacation. phenomenal service. Staff was super friendly, took care of us. Great conversation. Let us sample more than they should have. Others stating poor selection have a huge misunderstanding of beer selection. Plenty of choices on tap, also choices that are pre-canned. If you want to enjoy yourself without loud music or riffraff, this is the place. I wish these guys the best of luck, and hope for exponential growth for them in the coming years.

Cozy, quaint, easy. Many beers, adding more wines. The manager/partner wants you there. The best part is good, smart people are always in that bar.

One the best craft beer places in North Alabama. Lots of beer on draft as well as in the cans and bottles. Several drafts are always rotating so they always have a great selection of great new beers.

Think we may have found our local hangout. Clean, well maintained taproom. Dog friendly as well (yes, inside), which was super nice. We really appreciated the screens with list of beers that also showed the freshness of the keg and have board games in stock. And they give out free merch from some of their brewers! We will be back for sure.

Nice selections of beers and free popcorn. The mood is very relaxed and enjoyable, the pub is in the middle of the city center and usually plenty of parking place. Unfortunately not many chairs to sit down.

Stopped by to try your morning selections today. I like your place in general but the coffee this morning was quite substandard, which is unlike OTBX in my experiences this far. I was poured a cup of coffee from a French press that was already used. Yes, lukewarm water poured into the press with coffee grounds that had already been used.... and it tasted just like that. I really recommended doing something different. Maybe just brew some and have it in a insulated carafe. It wasnt like it was busy I was the only one there the whole time. If I didnt know better, Id probably avoid your place all together after that experience. The scone was good though.

OTBX is a Huntsville spot that you dont want to miss. Fun atmosphere with all kinds of beer and cider options on tap. Great spot to visit on your way into downtown or as your first stop of the evening. Hours can be a little bit of a bummer as they close earlier than most places but they make up for it with quality staff and awesome selection. Check it out for sure! Also - very dog friendly so bring your mutt. :)

Great staff, atmosphere and of course, beer. They have over 25 selections on tap with many being local favorites. Theres also complimentary popcorn as well. OTBX can accommodate large groups well but room can be limited if its busy.

This is a really cool place to check out. They have a ton of taps and bottles available. The place is kind of small so if you have a big group you may not be able to sit together on the weekend.One of the best perks of this place is the crowler machine. For the uninitiated, this machine lets you take freshly tapped 32 oz cans of any beer on the tap wall home to enjoy later. I love the crowler, since its not heavy and breakable like a glass growler and you only need to get two pints.Most of the beers on the tap wall are local, which is awesome.The staff and owners are great and this end of town is really cool. It is worth checking out if you are in the area!

Wow! I was really impressed with OTBX! We did a dine and dash on a Wednesday night and they treated us like royalty. Will definitely go back when Im downtown. Nice little place on the beer trail.

Pretentious hipster staff plays terrible music. Beer is good. Selection is good. Theyre dog friendly. Theyre packed at peak hours, so plan accordingly. Not worth the trip down town itself, but a good backup to Below the Radar.

My wife and I had our first experience at OTBX recently and I have to say I was taken back by the quality of craftsmanship of the store and expertise of the staff. It has the feel of a neighborhood store and expert advice/presentation you would find from a Apple store employee. The concept is a hybrid craft beer/wine & tasting store where you are greeted by expert staff. This is not like anything I have seen before and will be back!

I see my bad review was removed, I’ll leave it again. 2 years ago they had a bad attitude about not getting their Hopslam shipment on time and decided to take it out on me. Sorry I stopped in to buy some craft beer guys, don’t worry it won’t ever happen again.

I always have a good experience when I go. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Look out for their deals they have on Tuesday with $4 pours and Wednesday with 25% off growler fills. The selection isnt large in quantity but it makes up for it in quality choices.

I love OTBX in Huntsville! One of my fav stops for sure! You can purchase your brews to go (bottles) are you can sit and have some on draft. Respectable draft selection for the size of the establishment! Theyll definitely have a style or styles that suit your fancy. ALSO, you can get a flight of 4 for a decent price depending on the cost of each brew individually. Cool setup, great brew varieties and the last time I was there (not sure if its a regular thing) there was an N64 hooked to a TV with none other than Mario Kart!!Cheers to Brew!
