Very friendly staff who are passionate about their craft. Theyve helped me with replacing tubes and tires and even taught me how to do it on my own. They are fair priced and have a great turn around on ordering parts and quick repair times.

I bought an ebike elsewhere and brought it in to be assembled and finished and was not met with any hesitation or resistance but instead with pure openness and hospitality! After reading all the favorable reviews on this shop I was optimistic about getting my bike fixed quickly and fairly priced. Unfortunately, it did not turn out that way. The job was straightforward: give me an estimate on replacing two tires and tubes on my bike. I dropped my bike off at Blevins on 8 September, 2020. I was told itd be about two weeks. I gave them three weeks, and called. I was told it would be any day now. Well, I gave them 3 more weeks! No calls or updates. I went in to the shop and got my bike back (20 October, 2020),.... six weeks to the day after Id dropped it off the first time! I was not pleased with this experience. It seems like I could have at least been kept apprised of the delays....Six weeks is much too long after being given as estimate of two weeks.

Very knowledge, great selection of bike parts, and friendly staff. Turnaround on my bike was really quick. If you need work done I would definitely recommend Blevins.

Im a casual cyclist with a pair of Montague folding bikes, and brought in one of them for an adjustments that I could not work out myself. The problem was a poorly matched front derailleur for the bicycle. The solution is a different derailleur (which I intend to buy later,) but they did a great job of making what I have work. The creative repair solution was very reasonably priced, and I am happy with the results!

I cannot recommend this bike shop enough! Seriously, I recently got back into mountain biking and I was told about this shop several months back, when I bought my first bike from them the process was very straight forward everyone in there treats you like family even if you have a ton of questions, they where patient and extremely knowledgeable. I like to think of it as everyone in that shop has their own wealth of knowledge in their own areas.I recently ordered a second bike from them as well and I will be making all future purchases through them, if they don’t have it in store trust me they can get it. Great group of people here can’t say that enough!

Excellent experience. My wife scheduled me an appointment to get a mountain bike for our anniversary. I received a thorough walkthrough of what to look for based on my needs and I settled on the Giant Talon 2. Awesome bike and great staff. 2 years of maintenance included with purchase and 10% off accessories with your new bike purchase. Inventory might be low due to the amount of purchases people are making having to stay home but I got exactly what I needed. I’ll be back in the future to get an even better one but for now this bike is perfect for my needs.

This has got to be North Alabamas GO-TO bike shop, regardless of your size, fitness, experience level, or how many dollars you have/want to spend! Its a great shop built on solid management, outstanding customer service, and an exceptional level of technical knowledge.All of the folks I interacted with took the time to talk about the many choices one has when buying a new bike and the equipment options one might need/want. And after-sales service has been the best!A little background...like so many other folks during this year of the coronavirus, I decided it was time for me to get back on a bike. But im a heavy guy, havent ridden in far too long, and I thought finding the right fit and bike design to hold up under me, would be difficult. Turns out it was easy. That, thanks to Joanne and others.So even though the shop has been slammed the past few months, I appreciated they took the time to talk WITH me, not TO me (and based on my experience with some other bike shops, thats not always the way it is).Bottom line...the folks are personable, knowledgeable, and care about the Customer. Go there when its time to get bike repairs, accessories, or new bikes. And dont forget to give the dog some love!!

Blevins feels like family. In addition to providing excellent bike service and repair, they offer community. They offer weekly bike cruises in the spring and summer and, occasionally, customer appreciation pizza nights.

Today I went to Blevins to look at some bicycles, and left before purchasing a bike. A few hours later I got the nerve to buy the one I had tested out earlier but unfortunately it had already sold! However the amazing staff here checked the inventory and found one last model of the bicycle. Unfortunately I am not from the Huntsville area and wouldnt be able to pick it up on Monday and the store was about to close, but the staff was incredibly helpful and got it built within 15 minutes! I would highly recommend the expertise and kindness here to anyone!

You walk into a cavern that feels like your favorite college bar and are greeted by a generous laid back staff channeling an epoch of bicycle knowledge. The gear is top tier and the service attention to detail embodies the spirit of Blevins - that cycling is pure in itself. Blevins and Giant took care of me. My wife and child bought me a gift certificate to buy a mountain bike on my birthday. I went in the shop and ordered a Giant Fathom. I had only ridden the bike 3 or 4 times when a friend took me out on a trail that was way beyond my skill level. I put a large dent in the left chain stay. I brought it back to Blevins hoping that there was a way to fix it. Unfortunately, there was no way without replacing the frame. The manager said that he would talk to the Giant rep to see what our options were. The Giant rep agreed that the dent was large enough to make the bike unsafe. It took a while to finally get an answer, but ultimately, Giant considered it a warranty item and replaced my frame for free! An added bonus was that the frame came from Europe with a color scheme unique to European models. After finding out that Giant was supplying a replacement frame, it was only a few days later that I got a call from Blevins saying that they had transferred all of the components and the bike was ready.This is a bike shop that will take care of its customers.

Most importantly, everyone I spoke to was super friendly and willing to offer advice (I’m a new rider). I had some work done to my road bike and I couldn’t be happier with their turnaround time and pricing. Blevins is now my “go to” bike shop in Huntsville. Matt did a great job of fitting my bike. My bike is infinitely more enjoyable to ride. His seat fitting tool did a great job a finding a saddle that fits my body. I will be back and steer all my friends into his shop.

Ive been here twice and both times everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Im not a serious bike rider and just needed new tires for my casual bike, and the shop was not intimidating at all. I cant express how friendly and helpful everyone was!

Bought a new bike from Blevins last year around this time. They didnt have the bike I was interested in testing in stock, but one of the employees had his personal bike that day, which was almost the same model. He let me ride it and also told me I could take it on the trail if I wanted to. I thought that was super friendly and considerate. I didnt feel right doing that, but ended up buying the bike, thanks to him letting me ride his around the shops grounds. Took it in for the first tune-up last week. Had it a few days and then broke my shifters mount. They didnt have any replacement mounts in stock. I was bummed because I was wanting to take my bike to Auburn since I have to go for business. Once the mechanic hear this (different than the bike loaner one), he said he would see what they could do to try to expedite getting the part in. He ended up calling me and saying that he couldnt get the part in before I leave, but put a loaner shifter on my bike so I could still ride Chewacla. I have been nothing but impressed with the customer service from Blevins. Ive heard from friends how great they are, but have now experienced it first hand twice at a very high level.

I test rode five bikes while Brooke patiently explained pros and cons of each and helped me get the right fit. Ended up with a new Stump Jumper and couldn’t be more thrilled! Th entire staff at Blevins is stellar. I went back a week later and they helped my daughter find the right bike for riding around campus.

Absolutely one of the most awesome customer service experiences I have ever had. These guys are worth meeting!I had a million questions and they answered every one. They have a huge selection of parts and bikes too. So I tried to put together a on my own system and buy clearance bikes and parts online and it was a total nightmare. If I had gone there in the first place I would have gotten a way better bike for less money and a whole lot less headache . Seriously check them out.

I had an excellent customer service experience at Blevins Cycle . I am very new to the cycling world. I came in with 2 friends., also beginners) and Ed.. (Yes you have to ask for Ed)..took his time and explained each type of bikes. He helped us get fitted for a bike just to test drive. He was very patient. I never felt pressured to buy anything or to hurry up. We took a lot of his time and he never seemed annoyed. When I came back to purchase the bike ..he took more time to make sure I was fitted just right and assisted me with getting it in my car. Also, he explained some bike laws to me that I wasnt aware of. I felt Ed was more like an uncle than a sales guy ..LOL... I know I will have more questions. And I feel comfortable to call the shop or just stop by

Matt took time to answer every question that I could think to ask as well as made sure I was completely comfortable with all aspects of my purchase. These guys truly go above and beyond. If you are shopping for a bike or need service it would be a mistake to go anywhere else.

These guys helped me out when I needed a quick but serious fix before leaving on a touring trip. They let me get my hands dirty and taught me what I needed to know to fix the problem! Now I have a repacked bottom bracket and the knowledge to deal with it on my trip. Amazingly nice and helpful. Cant thank you guys enough.

These are people people!! Having not used our bikes since moving here a few years back, we knew they needed some attention to get them ride-worthy again. Looked at Google reviews to see what bike shops were around and although Blevins was farthest away from where we live (Madison), they had THE BEST reviews and rating. So we loaded up and took our 2 bikes in for full tune-ups, hoping nothing serious would turn up. 3 days later I get a message that our bikes are ready .... BUT ... one was in such good shape they could not justify charging us for a tune-up, so only charged for some minor tweaks. WOW! Talk about HONEST!! Went in to pick up the bikes today, and everyone was super friendly, and also helpful getting the bikes loaded up for me. Vibe in the place is great, so I know well be back for anything we need bike related!!

Bought a Bianchi from Craigslist even though i was going to buy one from them but i couldnt beat the price. Took it to Robert first thing he did was put it on the stand and started looking over it with out me asking. Wow what awesome service. I took my son over there and he bought a commuter bike with all the lights and accessories and they put it on no charge. Took my bike back for upgrades and handle bar height and fixed it quickly.One time needed my bike the next day for a ride with my son. He told me it would probably be a few days but i said if you can get it fixed by tomorrow i would really appreciate it. Called me in a hour and said he got it ready and i was so grateful. Ed is also great and friendly. I dont talk to the owner he never says hi or greets me but probably has a lot on his mind but Robert and Ed always makes feel welcomed. For that reason alone I will always go back to belvins.

I had been having numbness in my left foot and my hands. Id contemplated getting fitted to my bike for about a year. I finally decided to do so and it made a HUGE difference!After getting fitted I decided to swap handle bars and after lots of research myself Id turned to Matt again and he pointed me to some FSA SL-K compact bars with Lizard Skin tape. Its exactly the feel I was wanting and I didnt feel any road vibration.Matt Blevins certainly knows his stuff!

Began journey to upgrade from a Sport bike to a Road bike in June. Decided to visit bike store I had previous purchased from and the visit was lacking any customer service. Did a search and read some great reviews about Blevins. Decided to do a visit after work to gauge their inventory and customer service. As soon as I entered I was greeted by the Blevin team. Robert immediately began asking me what my interests were and provided much appreciated information and entertained my questions on the Giant and Cannondale lines that Blevins offers. There was no push for one brand over the other or a focus on the higher $ bikes in either line. Another great nugget Robert recommended was to do a test ride. Novel concept I would not have even thought about. A few days later, I took the opportunity to do the test ride. Robert once again shined in his customer service role. He patiently set up various bikes for me to try, addressed my many questions, and provided the technical differences between the bikes I tested. Again, no push for any brand or model. He also gave me advice on pedal clips and shoes. Made a decision within a few days and returned and placed my order. My bike/model was not in stock. Picked up bike about a week plus later. Brandon then continued the superb customer service by walking me through the bike from front to rear. Again, answering my numerous questions. He then did a quick fit and advised me on the Brands warranty and Blevins warranty/services after purchase. Blevins offers best class customer service. Highly recommend!
