I am so proud of my new doors. The team at Wilsons Lumber was very professional prompt to follow through on all levels. The in store guy Josh was phenom at service and the crew that installed the doors were beyond courteous and their work installing was quick well done and they left no trace of them being here. Excellent exprience!

I own a custom home building company. We buy a large amount of materials from Wilson Lumber. They are a great vendor to purchase from.They work hard to provide great service to their customers. Their sales team, drivers, and management all work together to deliver quality products at good prices.

My experience with Wilson Lumber has been wonderful! I ordered 4 custom-made Pro Via fiberglass exterior doors for the back of my home to replace doors that were rotten and shabby. Sallie was my sales representative after the rep who originally handled my order left the firm. She updated me consistently on the progress of my order over several months. (We all know that everything related to home reno and construction is backed up for months in the post-Covid world.) Having considerable money invested in custom doors, I found the progress reports reassuring and a mark of professionalism. Wilson reps checked my doors prior to delivery to make sure they were not damaged (another thing I appreciate - Im sure weve all experienced receiving damaged product from a vendor and had the burden of following up personally). The installation team, headed up by Josh, did a great job on installation, including the replacement of some termite-damaged framework discovered during the install. All my doors open and shut smoothly and look fabulous. These fiberglass doors have a faux wood finish and graining that makes them look like fine furniture - with none of the upkeep! I love them! Sallie also followed up after install to be sure I was totally satisfied. I would recommend Wilson for a top-quality product and top-quality service.

One star is too generous but I couldnt give them a zero...horrific customer service! Five sales associates walking around cutting up and talking to each other... never asked once if we needed assistance. We sat down in plain view and was just ignored! Wont go back.

This is not a Christian based company. This company fires people for the same thing everyone else is allowed to do. You pay for a door. They give you the wrong door and then they say that You have your door. The whole Christian base company logo is just a front to get people in the door. Never had I been treated like this before. It’s sickening to do the thing they do.

Terrible experience and won’t be back. Went into Wilson’s in early September to order some custom French doors. Had their installer (who was awesome) come out to get the measurements. Went back in to order the doors. Multiple visits and phone calls later on the behalf of the salesperson, who just didn’t seem to understand how to input the correct information, and the doors were ordered. When they were delivered I was given an 11-1 window. After repeated phones from me to regarding where the delivery truck was, they finally arrived after 5 with no communication from them. Installer arrived the next day and said the doors didn’t fit. Shock shock! The Manager of the store was informed by my installer and I left a message with the salesperson. No phone call was returned to me. I called the following week to make sure my new doors were ordered and when they would be picking up the doors that didn’t fit. I was told that the new corrected order had been placed and that they would pick up the bad doors at 3:00 on a certain day that week. Well guess what, no pick up, no phone call, etc. - another lost day of work for me. Called and left messages with both the Manager and salesperson. No phone call returned. The next week, my salesperson called to say that he had a new quote for my doors and I stated that I understood that they had already been ordered and was told that they hadn’t been ordered yet. I asked for the Manager to give me a call and said that I would wait until 2 for a return phone call or I was coming down to the store to cancel my order. You guessed it, no returned phone call. Went down and cancelled my order. BTW, the non-fitting doors are still in my garage. I don’t know if it was because I am not a contractor or that I am a woman, but this was horrible. These doors weren’t cheap either - several thousand dollars. I am a 4th generation Huntsvillian. My family has always used Wilson Lumber but after this experience, they sure won’t be getting a good recommendation from me. No customer service and no respect for the customers time wasted.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! No customer service, deceptive pricing, will never use again.We recently decided to have a deck added to our home and decided to use composite material. Since Wilson Lumber carries a variety of composite material and we are supporters of local business we elected to buy local instead of using the national chain stores.We arrived at Wilson to get information, and as we were looking over an impressive array of decking displays, we heard a man loudly complaining over a bad estimate he had received on a prior visit(we should have left at that point).A nice enough employee greeted us and gave us a thumbnail review of the products and then passed us on to one of the salesmen.Apparently if you are not part of jim-bob good ole boy network then Wilson has no interest in your business. Although it was clear that the salesman was not interested in us, we continued try to get the information we needed and hopefully find a friendly salesperson when we ordered material.Working as best we could with the salesman we cobbled together IN FRONT OF HIM a rough estimate for materials. After discussing the plan with our contractor we asked him to accompany us to place the order. To our surprise (and a flashback to when we first walked in and heard the guy complaining) what we needed was actually TRIPLE what we had estimated with the salesman before!Having a deadline for construction and at the encouragement of our contractor we went ahead and ordered the material, with an assurance (of course not in writing) that any whole lots could be returned for a refund. At this point it shouldnt come as a surprise that when we went to return unused/unopened material we were told that they did not refund for those products, REGARDLESS OF WHAT WE HAD BEEN TOLD.When we concluded the purchase order we asked about free local delivery and was told that Wilson did not do delivery they contracted it out and therefore charged for it (apparently they contract it out to another Wilson since the materials arrived on a truck with WILSON LUMBER on the side). We were amazed that an order in the 5-figure range was not delivered free. Even more amazing was that when we went to pay the delivery fee they applied taxes to it. I HAVE NEVER been charged taxes on labor/service, only on materials.I will not be a WILSON LUMBER customer in the future nor will I recommend them. Id rather deal with the big box stores where they value every customer and greet and treat everyone like they appreciate your business.

Wilson Lumber installed our custom closet and we could NOT be more excited about it!! They did a beautiful job! Working with Linda was a joy and she designed our closet perfectly. We recommend them to all of our friends and look forward to working with them again in the future!

I highly recommend Wilson Lumber Company as a place to buy all your building,repair or remodeling requirements. They are a local community place of business with long standing service to folks needing their services. Wilson Employees are a cut above the normal employees in this business. They are knowledgeable of products sold by the business and always present a smiling face to Wilson Customers. The company has been in business since the forties and is built on high moral and business ethics.

Worst service Ive ever had. I ordered trusses from Wilson Lumber. There was zero communication on the front end, my salesman lost my number then got testy when I called to check up. Ended up costing me a month on a job I was working on. The homeowner was not happy, I am not happy. Even after the delay they missed the promised delivery date. Cost me a fortune in time and expenses.On top of this, I called them and removed a truss from my order, still waiting to hear back from them on my refund because I had already paid for it, nothing. At least the trusses were good.Caveat Emptor.*** I will in all fairness say that the owner called me shortly after posting this and made the payment on my refund quickly. Hopefully things arent like that all the time, Im sure they arent. Good luck to all involved.
