Rented a piece of equipment and less than an hour after it was delivered I called to inform this company that there was something wrong with their machine. Their service manager Roger comes to my job site and insists that nothing is wrong with the machine; it must be user error. Following morning 8:15 AM and their machine breaks down again this time I am stranded 80 feet in the air. Service techs come out again for several hours and were uncertain if they could fix the problem. Instead of removing the equipment from a job site, these guys decided it was a better idea to order parts and wait four days to install them on site... More than two weeks later and I still have an unusable, malfunctioning piece of equipment sitting on my job site.At this point and according to their sales department there should be a different unit exchanged and zero cost for this entire project due to their lack of acceptable performance. I have still lost out on two days worth of employee wages and labor as well as the fact that my customer still does not have his project completed. Thank you united rentals for making this such a pleasurable experience
