One of my favorite chill spots (depending on who is keeping bar). They do not serve food, but you can bring your own. The retail side has more than a a lot of places here in town. You can choose a bottle of wine and enjoy it there (for a $10 corkage fee). They have a great beer selection and they have all sorts of liquor. Live music on the HUGE patio is always a treat!

Great place to grab a beer and sit at the bar or pick up some beer to go. They have a great inside bar area in the back and a large outside space.They have a large amount of rotating taps and they do keep them rotated. Youll always find something new to drink here. They also have a cocktail bar and a lot of speciality drinks to choose from and from what Ive seen, the bartenders are very talented and know what they are doing.They really are like a mini version of liquor express and definitely more convenient if you live closer to Madison than downtown Huntsville. Still, they have a pretty large selection of craft beer, specialty liquors, and wines. I usually only shop for the craft beer and sometimes I wish there was more to choose from but thats just how it goes sometimes.Stop by. Have a beer (or cocktail) and fin something to take home with you.

Nice place to come on a Saturday afternoon. 3 stars because they dont seem ready to open the bar side and only one worker to watch the retail store and the bar. Great selection of brews and friendly service helps make up for any daytime shortfalls.

Ive been wanting to check out The Bottle for awhile. Although my visit was limited, I stopped in for a glass of wine with a friend, we both agreed that we needed to get back soon. The outdoor patio is HUGE, with comfortable furniture and plenty of it. As we were leaving a band was arriving. I just love live outdoor music!

Beautiful outdoor garden. Great selection to meet the most demanding pallette for liquid libations. Outside food is allowed with several options for group seating. We had a smorgasbord of culinary delights that paired well with the drinks. Live music was perfect and just what you would want for a casual get together. Perfect spot to kick back and prepare for the weekend!

Very nice place and knowledgeable staff. Got a great deal ordering a keg for a party. Hidden gem that’s just out of sight from 72. Will definitely be checking out their live music and events

If you are in the mood for a delectable drink or that certain bottle of wine, than I suggest you stop in & give them a look over. There are wines from all over the globe here.Or if you prefer to sit back & enjoy your drink, I recommend you ask about their ongoing events, like trivia night, wine tasting, or just listening to some awesomly good music.

As far as the bar goes, its quite a nice balance between fun and relaxing. If youre looking for a place to have a few drinks (they have quite an impressive selection for such a small bar) and lounge around with friends, this is a great place. The staff was very friendly as well. They even have trivia night on occasion.

A nice selection of alcohol, found a wonderful vermouth that finishes my martini nicely. Staff was very friendly and helpful, will go back. After Covid may try their bar.

Weve been here several times and the service varies greatly. Sometimes theres music outside, other times just noisy fans. Bartenders can be good or just the cashier who doesnt know the beers (not so good). Wed come more often, but its pretty iffy.

This my first time being here, the drinks are great and the bartenders is excellent as well. She served us and gave us great information about this place. Have to come back here with my friends and have a great time.

Nice place, friendly staff. Music in the back is a little loud if youre in the front trying to talk to the cashier to get help. The back seems fun but I havent tried it yet.

Great taproom with live performances. Check out social media for schedules. They also have a good beer and liquor selection. Unfortunately they dont serve food but you can have food delivered here. Oh, and theyre dog-friendly!

Love the patio! Actually, I only experienced the bar and the patio, since I was itchin’ to see some live music but also be pandemic-safe. The patio is BIG, it sort of spills out to a beer-garden-like open area that allows for plenty of room for social distancing. The bar requires that patrons wear a mask for service and I saw everyone following that rule. The only concerning thing was a couple of folks who were technically inside without masks, but they were seated at a properly spaced table and with the big garage doors open, it probably felt like they were outside. I enjoyed seeing singer-songwriter Sarah Jayne and I’m looking forward to checking out more acoustic performers at The Open Bottle in the near future!

With beer, wine, liquor, and some of them best selection of mixers in town Im surprised the prices are so good. Obviously it cant best ABC for liquor, but its darn close and the selection is great. This is on my short list of places to stop in Madison.

This is my new favorite place to stop in and get unique beers or a bottle of wine. They also have a decent selection of liquor and their staff is pretty knowledgeable. They also have a nice area in the back to relax and listen to live music some nights.

One of my favorite places to unwind after a long week or day! Ive been coming here since theyve opened and its never disappointing.

Wide selection of beer and liquor, though half the beers on tap were from a singular out of state brewery and had vague copy-paste description on the menu. Bartenders are usually knowledgeable and helpful, but the patrons seem to be unfamiliar with bar knowledge and etiquette.

The people here are really nice and have a nice selection of different liquors. The store itself was decorated nicely too.. Havent got to try the bar side yet, but looks promising!!

Nice place to get a beer. Lots of choices and was able get a sample before making my selection. Ended up with a nice Anita Mardones Agra’s Bock from LA.

The liquor store portion has an amazing selection of all types of alcohol. The bar side is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating.

I called to see if they had a certain wine in stock. Woman named Karen I believe answered the phone and told me to let her finish doing what she was doing and will get back to me. She placed the phone down so I could hear everything she was saying to customers. At one point there was a lot of cussing. Now normally I wouldn’t mind holding but I think she wanted me to wait for her shift to be over to help me! She never picked up the phone. When I called back it kept going to the answering machine. Complete waste of 20 minutes of my time. Never got an answer after calling several times throughout the day

It is convenient 👍 has a great selection of liquor and wine. Little pricey but the selection makes up for it. Do you like beer? They have an extensive line of beers. Like to sit outside, buy a bottle of wine, open it there, go out to back patio and save 10 percent. Last night they had live entertainment. Give it a try 😉

I love the ambiance of the open air bar. I just told the bartender things I liked and he made me different drinks based off that. Also the beer is to die for, they have a great selection! Their store has a great selection of everything as well.

Really cool concept to have a patio bar in the back of a liquor store. Bartenders were great - music could have been SO MUCH better though.

Overall, this is a good place to go grab a drink and hang out with friends. Plenty of selection to choose from.This place is there Madison location of Liquor Express with the same half liquor and beer/wine store and half bar concept. The store has a decent selection of wines sorted by type and country of origin, liquors, and craft beer. They also have mixers including the most commonly used bitters. Prices are a bit high on most items though.On the bar side, they have about 30 taps for craft beer and ciders, a small wine list, and a decent selection of liquors. It should be noted that you can buy a bottle of wine from the store side and the bar will open it for a corkage fee. There is a decent amount of seating space inside, but the patio is huge. There are heaters on the patio as well.

I really like popping into this place to look for wines I cant normally find at the grocery store. They also have a very good beer selection and you can make your own 4 or 6 pack. They also sell liquor and theres a bar as well with live entertainment. They dont serve food but youre welcome to bring in your own. A great local place that Ill continue to go to.

Adult candy store. Amazing selection of wine, beer and liquor. Really helpful staff if youre not sure what to try next. Bottle shop on one side and comfy pub on the other. Pull up a chair and try one of the multitude of offerings on tap.

It is a very nice place in a mediocre location - on a very busy street with a long traffic light to get in and out. The beer, wine, and hard beer selection is good. Just because they have a great outdoor seating section is no excuse to leave the doors (large doors) open. If I wanted to be cooler I would have went outside. I left after a short while strictly because the inside temperature was too cold.

Wonderful place with drinks for everyone and a BEAUTIFUL patio. BUT without food, folks who are drinking can only have 1 and then must stop and go home. Food=more sales!

They have a broad and massive selection to choose from - both wine and beer! Its got a great atmosphere and layout and their staff are finally and helpful. Definitely a great place to stop on the way home to pick up a bottle or a six pack. Also its easy to get in and out since the red light is right in front.

Only reason its not 5 stars is because my friends and I had a hard time hearing each other after the live music started. Kind of a small place for that.

Cute and quaint. One of many local microbreweries, but offering the convenience of an attached liquor store. The staff are all quite knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a place that should be experienced a few times. If you like rich and complex flavor, this is the place for you.

Great atmosphere with a beautiful patio and big nice bar but one bartender and no servers?! They could sell a lot more drinks if they had servers. We left didnt what to stand in line at the bar.

Not to be confused with The Bottle, which is a fine dining place downtown.This place is a bar and liquor store. They have a huge patio on which they do events often. Their liquor and mixed drink prices arent bad, and the bartenders are friendly. They dont sell food, but they are BYOF (bring your own food), which is cool. Would go again.
