I have had one instrument cleaned and dings fixed up. One was repaired and they made me aware of issues I didn’t realize were a problem. (I am not a music person, it was a real issue not an up sale) Today I took in an instrument to have it fixed, not only did they fix it, but they taught my son how to fix it in the future. This place came highly recommended for their quality work but also their integrity and they have proven themselves on every occasion to live up to that praise.

Went in and had a C.G Conn 32k Bb Sousaphone, with the classic vintage ‘Naked Lady’ emblem on the bell (Satin Silver finish with Gold Wash bell) that I was using for marching band at Hazel Green High School, chemically cleaned and the results were phenomenal! Even my band director was shocked, as before it was completely covered in tarnish. It was an ugly duckling and now it’s a pretty peacock. FYI it was a school owned instrument, and I genuinely care about the well being of all musical instruments even if they are not my own. Most kids in high school band just don’t care about their instruments. There needs to be an instrument care and basic maintenance course offered at the high school and even the early college level. There’s no reason why school owned instruments should be neglected to the level that I’ve seen.

They are really nice and honest. I went in because I thought one of my screws was broke. Instead of agreeing and taking it in for major repair, they just told me it was loose and tightened it free of charge. Would TOTALLY recommend!

Ive used these guys many times, and they are great! The people who work there are actual players, so they know whats best for your instrument, and they may cost quite a bit, but quality wont be compromised. If they a single thing different than what they originally said, they will call and tell you before they do it, if you want them to. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting their old school instrument looking new.

Great worksmanship! Ive had my trumpet for over 35 years and after many military moves it got pretty dented up and the lacquer was coming off in many place. Took it to them and for a very reasonable price they made it look and sound brand new! I highly recommend them if you have any musical instrument needs.

They did an awesome job on my flute. They polished it, replaced the cork, and did a pad replacement for a fairly reasonable price. They were also very polite and did it in a short amount of time.

Communication is poor and my trombone slide came out gritty in much worse condition than when it went in. Plus, when I asked about the grit, I was told to wash it out! I just paid you around $200 to have the thing cleaned, is washing it out too much more to ask? Really dissatisfied as it used to be better.

After looking up the actual part number we found that the price you were told was in fact way high.We realize that we have had a reputation of being expensive and we are working to make our services more affordable without compromising our quality of work. If you need an instrument repaired in Huntsville, this is the place. They are highly skilled and friendly. They are true craftsmen unlike other repair places in town.

The only place in town that would touch an antique clarinet. Did solid work. Id use them again and recommend them.

I cant complain about the quality of their work- they do fantastic repair and maintenance. But their prices are insanely high. They tried to charge me 25 bucks a piece for two tiny little screws that keep the third valve slide from sliding off my trumpet. No way! I later got those screws at Gadsden Music for a couple bucks. I called Southeastern about it and they denied ever trying to charge me $25 a screw. Okaaay.Overall, Im willing to come back for any repairs I need done because they do very nice work. For general music merchandise and accessories, look elsewhere.

Took my sons trumpet to get serviced and paid $110 for a ultrasonic cleaning that didnt fix the issue!!!! The guy at the shop told me the trumpet had a manufacturer defect but they performed the $110 service anyway!!! No call to ask me if I wanted to proceed, just a bill and a smile followed by your problem is not fixed. Horrible customer care!!!!
