So far I have enjoyed dealing with them, they explained everything I needed to know and got me in as soon as they could and fixed my vehicle per their promise, when no one else could. Price was a little steep but they did a lot of work and have given me peace of mind knowing my brakes, at least, will not fail.
They been great to work with.We have used them for years and have been very pleased. They have gone the extra mile a number of times to make sure we were satisfied with their work.👍👍
Made an appointment a week and 1/2 ahead of time. Received no updates through out the day and when i call at 4 oclock they are just getting truck in. Said they need more time with it, they were fairly certain they knew what was wrong but still needed more time. Next day still did not receive any updates and when I called was told they could not diagnose is. They had my truck for 2 days and could not diagnosis what was wrong and poorly communicated things to me. I picked the truck up and it was doing exactly what I asked them check.
They got me right into the shop and made adj my headlights and I was done .they did it right good job
This is a great place to get service on your car and truck. They have saved my bacon several times.
Great service, they take care of a several of our trucks, from regular maintenance to replacing engines and transmissions they get it done. they are honest and do great work. Thanks!
Great employees. Trust their work.
These guys are great! J.R. took the time to explain some general tips and tricks for vehicle maintenance after they fixed some other vehicle issues we were having.
These guys are amazing! Ive had them do inspections on cars I plan on purchasing and they have always been very fair to me. They do a thorough inspection, not just a looks fine to me inspection. I will always take my cars to them.
I took my 2005 Chevy Silverado in for a simple oil change and to lube the chassis. ( Yes, this truck has old fashioned grease zerks). My friends told me that they had bad experiences there and to not trust them but I knew one of the service writers up front. I picked it up and drove it home assuming everything was done. When I got home (thank heavens I only live west of IF) I looked under my truck to make sure they greased the chassis. Nothing was greased. I called and they said bring it back so I did. They did pull it in and did the job correctly this time. When I told the people up front that I shouldnt have to spot check their work, the guy said..it happens and its not a big deal. I will never go back and I am encouraging my friends to never go there.
All of my family brings out cars here when they need service that we ourselves either dont want to do or dont have the time to do it and these guys give great service at reasonable prices.
They all the techs are friendly and they are cheap and they know what they are doing
Had multiple experiences with these guys and always have received top-notch service and work on my vehicle
Honest people that just want to help. I couldnt be more appreciative of all their help. They made a forever customer
Really love this place. Theyre great service and reasonable prices. I like the fact that in order for them to do a full vehicle inspection, $89.00. However, if you choose them for service and have your car serviced there, that day, they waive that fee. I really appreciate them.
Guys know there stuff from classic cars to new cars. Been taking our classic cars into them they seem to know more how they need to be fine tuned then anyone else in town. 69 el camino, 68 Camaro
We have had issues with our van and have spent considerable amounts of money trying to get it working correctly(At different automotive companies). Since taking it to All Things Automotive, we have noticed our vehicle runs better. The staff is always willing to help and they dont try to nickel and dime you. They will always have my business.
Took my vehicle for LOF and Tire Rotation. I am not sure that this business cares about there customer. I received a $50.00 bill to replace hood struts that took about 5 minutes to complete the procedure. I did however ask them to reinstall the hood light which they removed during previous repair, that was not done.I had to replaced a newer U-Joint because it was not greased by them in services. I will inspect the front end parts to see if they greased them even though they have bad rubber seals. I just want an honest service done on my vehicle.
I live in Las Vegas Nevada and was looking at two trucks in Idaho Falls ID. I asked the dealer if they could take them over to All Things Automotive for inspection. I give the dealer props they agreed to take the trucks over. The inspection on each truck was quick and thorough. It help me remove the truck that had the most work needed. The cost was under $100 for both trucks and saved me $1,000s. I would use them again and would suggest that you do the same. Everyone that I talked to was very helpful and easy to work with. They emailed me the inspections with complete breakdowns.Great place use them.
Very easy to work with. Great customer service. Theyve always been very good to us here at the shop.
This is the ONLY car repair organization that I will take my car to. I also have them do pre-inspections on any used cars that I plan on buying. These guys actually like cars!
They were right on top of what I needed and were able to fit me in sooner than expected! Excellence service!!
We live in dark time people. An age where the uninformed, uneducated and naive people of the world are losing massive amounts of money to people in the service industry. Integrity and honesty seem to have gone the way of the cassette tape only to be viewed from behind glass on a museum or thrift store display box.We were referred to All Things Automotive by my father in law who still lives in the days of cassette tapes and have had two different vehicles in the shop. The work was of the highest quality and pricing was extremely fair.If youre looking for that shop where youre willing to pay the money required to fix your vehicle and want the piece of mind that youre not being upsold or scammed, this is your shop.
I HAD A BAD NOISE IN THE BACK END OF MY CAR AND TOOK IT TO ANOTHER SHOP THAT QUOTED ME $1600 TO REPAIR IT. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS OUTRAGEOUS. SO I PICKED UP MY CAR AND CALLED JR, TOOK MY CAR IN AND HE QUOTED ME ABOUT $250 TO REPAIR IT. SO I HAD HIM DO THE WORK AND WHEN I PICKED IT UP MY BILL WAS LESS THAN QUOTED ($202). MY CAR WILL ALWAYS BE REPAIRED AT ALL THING AUTOMOTIVE & DIESEL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAVING THEM REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE. SUPER HELPFUL AND HONEST. NOW MY CAR IS WHISPER QUITE AND I STILL HAVE MONEY IN MY WALLET. THANKS JR AND ALL YOUR PERSONAL FOR THE GREAT SERVICE. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST.
I just wanted to drop a quick little note to let you know how much I enjoy All things Automotive. I have had problems with some of the cars in my family and what ever issue we have All Things Automotive have been able to fix the problems. Not only fixing problems, but doing oil changes also. What a relief to get it all done in one place. They have always been on time and very friendly.I totally recommend them. I hope that you dont have car problems but, if you do. Feel comfortable going to them.
This shop has been over backwards for me Everytime. They get the job done in a timely manner and they do it right the first time. Im from out of town and I always try to leave my repairs until I visit so they can work on my truck. Been with them for almost 10 years, and always a great experience.
The only place Ill take my car very knowledgeable individuals and they do honest work very fast
I had another shop I took all my vehicles to and I was very happy with their work and prices, but they always took way too long to get the job done. Several people recommended All Things Automotive, so I gave them a try next time I needed work done on my truck. I couldnt be happier with the work, cost and turn-around time. Ill stick with these folks.
First time there today showed up staff was very courteous and professional answered any and all questions and I did not feel overcharged for the work they did. Thank you !
These people have been awesome to work with. Ive had some of the weirdest things go on with a couple of my vehicles. Even tho I know it has been a pain, they have endured and persevered and figured it out. They are my Mechanics when I cant do it myself.
Great honest people
These guys are amazing! Great service & they stand by their work and their word. They are the best around! They care and are attentive to detail.
These guys give top-notch customer service, and their pricing is more than fair. They are always my go-to place anytime something is wrong with one of my vehicles.
The reason I’m giving two stars is because the story ended well to some degree.I bought a used truck with 100k miles on it. Wanted to do the responsible thing and have a mechanic go through, check the truck out, change oil, fuel filter, etc. They came back and said I had a leak in my transfer case, and combined with other small work, it would be somewhere around $1500 dollars to fix. It was several days until the weekend and I asked if they were going to be able to get it back to me before then. They said no problem.Work gets done, they leave a guy there after hours to fix it. All seems well. I pick up my truck and drive to Boise. At the end of the day, it looked like my rear diff was leaking. I took it into a mechanic and they started asking me if I had tried to repair the transfer case because no mechanic they knew would repair it this way.....looked, and they had squirted a bunch of JB weld up over a hole. The pressure and heatBlew through the crappy patch job and I was running a dry transfer case for who knows how many hundreds of miles. Not sure exactly how that job costed me 1500$.So, frankly I feel like it was a dishonest move on their part. When I called in, I got a shop credit card of theirs over the phone within minutes. Makes me think that they knew they were doing a crappy job and just got caught and were worried about getting sued. The good part: they paid for someone else to put in a new transfer case. So I guess someone took responsibility after I called. That’s why I gave them a two star instead of a one.The bad part: I have zero trust that they are a reputable company. The fact that they would try and pull a fast one like this really bothers me. They won’t touch my truck ever again and I actively steer friends and family away from them. If anyone asks me, I’ll say stay away from them.
Very nice people. They wont rip you off. They love a challenge!
Good service and decent prices. They did make a mistake, but they were very good to fix it and make it right.
Best place to have your vehicle worked on hands down. Honest and know their stuff!
I love the staff at all things automotive! They are honest, reliable, and hard working. I will always recommend them to anyone who has trouble with their vehicle.
I have now dealt with this shop twice, I had my truck in to have the transmission rebuilt and the horror story begins there. Long story short I was lied to by All things auto service manager when the guy who actually built the transmission told me the truth. They broke a part that is impossible to find new, and the rebuilt transmission started failing shortly after. I took it back and they said theyd take care of it! which is awesome, I thought. They had the trans rebuilt and put back in, and while they did that they decided to break my temperature switch and not replace it... why? because it is impossible to find as well. Thanks all things auto for the crap service, and tearing my truck up even more. You either need to fire some technicians and get some real ones, or just go into the dairy business or something a little easier.-T.J.
Late Friday afternoon my transmission fried out on the highway.. JR and his team stayed late lent us a car found us a decent place to Stay and had us on our way before noon the next day. Oh that was a Saturday.. They are closed Saturday.. Cant say thank you enough times JR!
Get honest work professional and very fast love this place
Many thanks to JR and the staff at All Things Automotive for the great service. I recently took my Subaru Outback to them with a leak that another shop had introduced while replacing the front axles and could not fix after FOUR attempts. JR and his team diagnosed the problem and actually drove the vehicle around verify the problem was fixed. Needless to say, All Things Automotive will be getting my future business.
Nice clean shop
The owner has always been great to help me out.. As a mechanic i dont take my stuff there but any advice ive asked he has been awesomebto help with and always knows his stuff.
Idaho maybe a right to work state and your employer could fire you for no reason at all but for a company to make up something and fire you based on something that was not true at all then you go pick up your check and theres already someone there sounds like that was pre plans and Id not right at all I do have rights and I did go to the Department of Labor
We have been using them for a couple if years. Fair, honest and good .
They charged me way more than they should have and didnt fix my problem. I couldnt get it off the lot cuz it wouldnt start to find out half the stuff I paid for they didnt put in my car. They later found out my problem but were asking over 700 more then the parts cost which is robbery their mechanics are not close to that good. Never take my vehicle back or recommend anyone to
The mechanics are top notch, and the office staff are great!! Get your car and truck fixed up right at All Things Automotive!
