Its great for a book store. However, its kind of a dying breed. It was nice that they hosted Brandon Mull for a book signing, though. They even stayed open after hours so that he could greet everyone in line.

Great selection. Prefer local owned bookstores but this will do when you want to pick something and at the mall.

Saturday afternoon date idea, walk around Barnes and Noble.

This B&N invited a popular author to town. But when a large group showed up for the book signing they stuck us outside, in 45 degree weather, with children standing along the street. Instead of having us line up inside their humongous store, they leave us outside to freeze for an hour while we wait in line. It was poorly planned and poorly executed. I’m frozen and disappointed.

As far as chain book stores go, this one is one of my favorites! They really make an effort to improve the ambiance and intimate feel of a bookstore by including staff recommendations and fun programs like mystery-wrapped books and fun signings! I’m looking forward to their signed editions cart on Black Friday!

My wife loves Barnes & Noble!!! She is an avid reader and I love to be with her to see the excitement that she has. I do sometimes get some books for her.

The keep the place well organized and cleaned. For the most part the books are all exactly where they are supposed to be and easy enough to find. Good store.

Love all the selections of books and games they have here. Some of the stuff in the store is so interesting. They have a whole area with harry potter stuff and its way cool! Tons of board games, and science projects kits. They even have toys.

The new organization took me a minute, but follows convenient Dewey standards and the cafe is lively.

We stopped in to get a pumpkin cheesecake. We love that they have food options inside.

If you get the chance, Bryce is exceptional at recommendations. Isn’t partial or stylistically orthodox, just really takes it to the next level in terms of fitting next reads. Better than any algorithm. Thank you! Always a pleasure seeing you in store!

You can find an assortment of goods here. Mostly books, but I am able to find my niche of gaming books, dice, and figures for my role-playing hobby. Always great service, high quality products and food goods. Will always come back here.

Didnt have what I was looking for and horrible customer service. Instead of maybe asking me if they could help me find anything or maybe even a smile when I walked in the door, I got followed, like legit, these people treated me as if I were stealing things. Called the manager that same day and informed him of how horrible my experience was, he said and did nothing.

Its sometimes a little unorganized feeling and some genres are hidden behind new displays. Its also a little tight in some areas but very spacious in others. I mean all in all I still love going in.

Enjoyed w/ my coffee and book there.

Bought 2 covers for my nook. So disappointed 😞. First they didnt fit my nook and second it cost me almost what I paid for them to send them back .

Large selection of books but overall Barnes & Nobles is always overpriced and makes me very unimpressed because of that when you can find the same books new online for a 1/3 of the asking price in their stores.

Very nice clean and quiet bookstore . They have tons of books and you can sit down and choose what books you want or relax . the staff are super friendly and polite.

Bookstores are like the Disneyland of libraries, they have all the cool new stuff but you pay the price for it.

Like most Barnes & Noble‘s it is neat and nice and well kept up but very overpriced for a paperback book these days. On the bright side they do offer tremendous customer service but once again everything is pricey in the store from any kind of reading material to board games and toys.

The book staff is okay. But if you want to get a beverage I would go to a different Starbucks. One person is only ever working, takes forever and they Only take card no gift cards or cash when Barnes and Noble will. Please explain.

Who doesnt love books? Very friendly service, great books. Employees were very helpful when we asked about where to find a book we were looking for. They let us know of deals as well. Will go back, and will recommend. My favorite one we got so far was this new cover of Pride and Prejudice.

This store has a large music selection as well as an extensive book section. There is a full Starbucks and when you buy something from Barnes and Noble your receipt typically has a coupon for cookies at Starbucks. There is usually only one or two registers open at a time and its difficult to find staff. Pretty messy and cluttered, but it has always been this way so maybe its a Barnes and Noble thing? Prices can be outrageous, but they usually have the newest books and classics.

Its a good bookstore with a lot of selection but its a bit pricy. You can get most of the books on Amazon for $5-$10 cheaper

Great environment, very organized and well maintained. Their cookies in their bakery are A++ as well! However, I would say their books are a bit over priced. They have a great selection in all genres, however if your looking for an affordable book on gardening look elsewhere.aside from their affordable cookbooks that frequently go on sale!

They dont have most of what I like but they can order online. Once, I ordered a hardback and when I went to pick it up, t was a soft cover. Either way, the workers are nice people and helpful.

Good place for looking up some books. Its Idaho, so some radical political books are on the top shelf promoting. If you wanna just enjoying reading through books, just go to the main shelves for the specific books instead of looking at the promoting shelves.

I love books! And this particular Barnes and Noble has a fantastic selection. Everything is well organized, kept clean, and fairly priced. Not to mention their great collection of board games. I have only tried their Cafe treats once, but they were pretty good!

While the seating is insufficient both in quantity and quality; its a great place to connect with new people. Theres parties and book signings. All the new books to read, and plugs for phones/computers.

They have a wide selection. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Decent prices.

The Starbucks employees weren’t helpful and clearly don’t know how to make a drink iced. Last time I checked putting 3 ice cubes in a drink wasn’t acceptable!

I seriously love this store. I spend way too much here (thankfully they have a great frequent buyers program so I save quite a bit in discounts and free shipping). The Starbucks cafe inside the store has a great selection of desserts and drinks. Im not one for their coffee but the tiramisu is delicious. Plus they have tables and chairs to sit at so its nice to read and sip/munch on something.The staff here at B&N are awesome as well. Ive been coming here for over 10 years and have never had a complaint. They constantly have great stuff on sale in store as well.

Had the bird books my wife was looking for. Little high on the price but they had the books.

I would like to but books that are in Japanese, learning Japanese and it would be nice to have manga there anything easy to read in Japanese, Ive tried looking for Japanese manga there but I couldnt find any manga in Japanese because all of them are English.

They moved stuff around in the store. They were helpful to redirect me.

Really clean and a really good place to get manga.

Always a great place to meet for coffee, juice and other goodies while you read or purchase any of the wonderful books or books in the store. Everything from maps to a great childrens area and the manager is extremely helpful. If he doesnt have it I would be very surprised but if he doesnt he will be more than happy to order it for you.

I came here to Christmas shop for a few different family members and was very pleased with my experience. My family is very diverse and do not share many common interests. So you can imagine my surprise and satisfaction when I found a fitting present for each member of my family! They opened their presents Christmas day with a big grin on their faces. I would recommend this store.

One of the highlights of all of my mall visits.

Normally, I have a great experience at the cafe.This evening I came in with my own mug. When my drink was ready, I approached the counter and thanked the barista. She rudely responded with Well its your mug, isnt it? Taken back, I told her that I had actually thanked her. She rolled her eyes and walked away.The peppermint mocha was tasty. However,I did spill the drink down the front of my sweater trying to find the actual beverage beneath the huge mound of whip cream.Customer service skills go a long ways, and she could greatly benefit by working on hers.

The employees are very nice, it has a Starbucks inside with friendly staff as well. A little bit of every genre and learning-toys for kids. They have books in a few different languages. Its also connected to the mall. Clean bathrooms, and usually overall its a good environment. Authors come to visit, and they help out certain fundraising.

Well stocked, best service will come back.

Excellent place to purchase books of all genres and reading levels. They have a cozy juvenile section where children and parents can peruse and sit qnd read a book together. Not all books are available in store, but can be ordered in. There are chairs place throughout the store where a weary shopper may sit and gather strength or look through books they are interested in before purchasing.

Emmy and I went to the mall, and we stopped at Starbucks B4 leaving.

The staff is wonderfully polite kind courteous and very eager to help every single customer. A small of a staff there was when I last visited, there was enough staff to go around for every other person in the store. The coffee shop people are just as friendly as the bookstore people I love to just go there sit and read and they dont bother me. they dont object to people coming in and sitting and reading like other coffee stores do.

Grateful for B&N being open. Post holidays, a little short staffed.

Barnes and Noble is a legend! I was accidentally shipped the wrong book and tried to get an exchange. Barnes and Noble blew me away with how helpful they were. They not only apologized but gave me a huge gift card, let me keep with mistaken book, and gave me the correct one. Wow! I wouldve been happy with just an exchange because mistakes happen but wow! Barnes and Noble is a legend.

This review is not about the book store it’s about the employees working at the cafe. We just walked out because the employee is not washing his hands or using sanitizer between customers. With COVID being so high in Idaho Falls this is not acceptable.

My favorite place to go. They have pretty much everything. Books, movies, games, and a cafe. The aisles are well laid out, and if you go more than once you can learn where everything is. Im a bit biased because I love books, but thats the most important thing of this bookstore so enjoy it.

I love to read and this place has became my go to bookstore when I cant find a book or when my girls need a book as well. Excellent costumer service by far. Manager and staff are very friendly you dont get that much these day especially in a bookstore as high trafficked as this one kudos for that.

I have to say, I am very impressed by the selection. It has been a little while since I went in, but I was not disappointed by any means. Of course, my inner nerd went nuts on the science fiction section. But there is something for everyone. Sometimes, its really nice to be able to browse without a big list of suggestions building up and following you around. Barnes and Noble delivers on that experience

This store is magical and youll want to buy everything. The books, games, toys... all of it. The prices can be a bit steep on some things though, so if you plan to visit often it would be prudent to become a member in order to reap the financial benefits. I only go so I can get a buy one get one free cookie with my receipt. They are really good cookies.
