Scam! I changed systems and wrote them as per the contract. They completely ignored it and kept on changing.

Live security owned by Gator is a joke. The only thing gator cares about is selling you a system. He is shady and doesnt care about you as a customer. Especially after signing the share account contract. After you sign, good luck getting a hold of him thereafter. He puts more work into avoiding you and declining your phone calls then working for a solution to prevent such poor reviews. This is less than par business and ever lesser customer service. Its amazing he is still open for business. There are far better security companies out there. Dont settle for less.

About 3 years ago we signed up for Live Security and got the fancy touch screen control panel with accompanying app, which worked great. Then about 3 or 4 weeks later, while I was at work, someone came to the house claiming to work with Live Security. They told my wife that they were having issues with our model of system and went through my house and removed the high tech system and replaced it with a very low tech old system. It turns out those dirt bags didnt work with Live at all, and legitimately walked into my home and stole my security system while my wife was alone with our baby. Scary and infuriating to say the least.I realize that Live didnt do this, however I tried for over a year to get Live to update me on the status of the court case because I was told there was a possibility of getting my system back. However, it was like pulling teeth to get any info from them, and I still have the security system that the thieves installed in my house. No effort was made to make us feel better about things, keep us in the loop, update us on the court case, etc.Ninety percent of the reason I signed up was for the high tech system that I could arm/disarm from anywhere. It was great for the 3 weeks we had it. After this whole horrible situation, my wife and I have felt completely hung out to dry, and have heard nothing from Live for the last two years about it. I feel like it was all swept under the rug.

Live security helped me place cameras and security in my fathers home. As he aged I was able to make sure he was safe and care for him by watching from my phone, even as I worked. They were very helpful in assisting me when I had questions and specific needs. Thanks Live!

Best security company around! I have had a couple different systems from other companies and Ive been the most happy with this one. Gator helped me get what I needed for my house. I love the live feed cameras I have and also when i get texts when my door is open or closed. The monitoring fee was a much better deal from these guys than all the other companies. I got all the cameras and door monitors and glass break sensors for the same price as the other companies wanted to charge without cameras! Recommend theses guys to everyone

Since putting in security system I rest much easier. Love having mobile app and use it all the time! The other feature with the system I like is the cameras and then I can see the house when away.

We’ve been with Live for a few years now. Have never had a complaint. We recently added cameras. They did a great job installing them and helping me work them. They are always around when you need them.

Cant get ahold of anyone ever. No way to contact anyone about questions concerning my account. Do not use these guys. Ever.

Very customer service oriented. I like the fact that they are local & can help fix problems fast. Gator is very friendly & I would recommend his service to anyone.

There is noone ever at the office and noone ever answer a phone call and theres no way to leave a message. Such BS.

I have been working with Gator since we had our system installed about 2 years ago. Any time I have a question or concern he is right on top of it. I would recommend Live to anyone who is looking to get a security system for their home.

I thought I was doing business with a local company, then my account was sold to someone out of state.UPDATE......I HAVE BEEN 100% TRANSFERRED TO A COMPANY CALLED ALDER SECURITY. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THGE SAME TECH SUPPORT AS LIVE. I USED TO BE ABLE TO GET IN HOME SERVICE. ALDER DOES PHONE TECH SUPPORT THIS IS VERY INCONVENIENT. I FEEL I WAS A VICTIM OF THE OLD BAIT AND SWITCH. I EMAILED GATOR MY SALESMAN TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT WHY MY ACCOUNT WAS SOLD AND HE WOULDNT REPLY. HE DID REPLY TO THIS REVIEW BUT ONLY WITH A STATEMENT I DONT FEEL IS ACCURATE. STAY AWAY FROM LIVE SECURITY

Really liked the customer service and me and family feel alot more safe know that we have live security.

Gater is not helpful or friendly after you sign up for the product. They told me lies about changing to another customer once my house sold. I am now stuck with a plan that cant be used. So either I take a hit with my credit or pay thousands of dollars to cancel. Not worth the hassle I would have rather been robbed.

1 Star is to much. May 2016 Geyron Zaugg “gator” with live security sold me a home security system with SHS (safe home security) About a year into my 36 month contract I received letter in the Mail stating SHS was no longer mintoring my account, Alder security was. 5 moths after this “transfer of account” I notice SHS and Alder are both billing me. I contacted Gator. He gives me a run around story how I don’t have an account, I have shared account. Then gives me a list of phone numbers and emails of people I need to contact to correct the issue. That’s right, me the customer, has to fix a problem Gator created. First problem, SHS has no record of my shared account being canceled and no acknowledgement of anything being transfers to Alder. Alder has no idea why I’m being billed by SHS and that I need to contact gator. Getting Gator to return my phone calls and text messages from this point on has become a pathetic joke. I also found out Gator told Alder I had already received my refund/credit/ voucher or whatever, and I was no longer owed. That’s a lie. The guy won’t even answer my phone calls or return them let alone give me my money back. I also asked Alder to prove it. They couldn’t not. Obviously. Think Gator returned my phone calls again? Nope. My opinion, this guy is a crook and there are reasons why SHS cut him off. Reasons I can’t prove but we’re told by a few different reps of SHS. All had the same “shady business” answer. If it’s Gator Zaugg or Live security, slam your door in his face. You’ll get the same respect as a customer from him if you don’t. He’s a crook and his business is as equally shady as him. Listen to the bad reviews on here. They are real and they can happen to you too. I trusted the guy. Let him into my home and he took money from me and my family. Not cool. Especially when my kid is handicapped. Hence the reason for the extra security.Update: Gator is still dodging my calls and that of the attorney General. This man knows how to screw you over and takes pride in doing so. Please heed my warning. There are far better companies out there to work with. This guy is in business to be a crook. STAY AWAY FROM LIVE SECURITY!!
