Service has been steadily declining the past decade. Our combine AC went out yesterday. We called service department early afternoon and were told a service man would be out in the morning. The next day, after no sign of the service department, we called again around noon and were told the service man would contact us shortly. Didnt hear anything all day. My 70-year-old father was forced to combine in the summer heat with no AC. This isnt the first time their service department has jerked us around like this and not given straight answers. If they cant help you in a timely manner, they could at least tell you that so you could plan accordingly. Very sad to see my dad sweating all day on account of their incompetence. If they dont show up tomorrow I will update this review accordingly.It seems theyre more interested in selling lawn mowers and sweat shirts than helping the farmer these days. I dont recommend buying from or dealing with this John Deere affiliate. They continue to let us down.
I think the workers at the store are very polite and kind. I bought a grass bagger that didnt work with my mower, and I was able to return it. Its about time more stores were like Costco!

Horrible! They told me $300 to replace a short piece of wire and switch that could have done myself. I accepted the $300 just to get it over with and fixed. When I picked it up the bill was over $650! (Diagnostic fees) Parts are so much cheaper online. This is not our local shop. There are alot of independent, local shops. I will take my business to the other places going forward.
Patient, professional, thorough, fast. Mike, in parts, cleared up parts issue, got an overnight delivery, and followed up. Part is installed and I am back to work. Patience and speed in one person. Wow!!! Cant do better than that! Thank you very much, Mike.

To whom it may concern: I recently experienced some of, if not the best, customer service I have ever had provided to me during my purchase process for a JD implement (used 54 snowblower). Kevin Beck initially responded to my online inquiry about the snowblower and went above and beyond my expectations by having the unit installed on a machine to make sure all pieces were present and everything worked as it should. He even sent me a video of the blower in operation which I greatly appreciated since I would have had to travel a long distance to pick it up. Keven worked with me to come up with a purchase price within my budget and even took time to drive over half the distance to bring it closer to me. I was treated very well at the parts counter. It didnt matter to them that I was only buying a $12 part. The salesman went out of his way to make sure I had the right part and he arranged for me to pick it up in Idaho Falls because he didnt have it in stock. It was a very easy process for me.
I bought what I thought was a genuine Deere part for my snow blower. Come to find out it was made by another company for Deere, and could have been purchased for half the price from other suppliers.I dealt with Ben, Andy, and Mike at C&B. They understood the situation, and refunded me a fair amount to make the situation right.They did the right thing for the customer, and because of that I will definitely do business at the Idaho Falls C&B again!
