Sometimes I’m hesitant to go to places when they have a few reviews that mention the same negative experience. But I came here today and didn’t experience anything wrong. I was greeted nicely, there were a couple girls going through some items. I came in first thing in the morning so I see they stay pretty busy. I came here with a crib, I set it up in store and received an offer. Although I paid almost $300 for it I received $43. I’m not sure how they price their items, I know they have to do their part in reselling stuff at affordable prices. You’re either going to expect their offer or leave. Can’t complain about what they offer, if something is that new then send it back to the store or have yourself a yard sale. Or better yet take it to Goodwill where they give you nothing for your items…

I love shopping here. I can sell my items and get paid that day. Theres always good deals going in if you are a member too.

I only gave 3 stars because they used to be a great place to buy and sell. Ive been going there for 9 years. It has really changed over the last year. I was in there today sell. I arrived 15 mins after they opened. They had stuff laying everywhere and you could barely walk.. It took well over an hour for them to even start sorting my stuff. They ask for you to lay your stuff flat in the boxes, but them they just ball it up and toss it back in. I had several items that still had their tags on them that they passed on, and it had been only weeks since I purchased the wrong size. That makes you wonder, did they actually go through the stuff? Lastly, the kid running the register said I was owed $28.52. He tried to give me a roll of pennies. I declined. So then he asked someone else and they got me change. When I got home I happened to check the money and he shorted me $1. I likely wont return based on my experience today. There are several others around town.

Now I have shopped here before. And lets just say it was not the best in the past. But things have changed! The store is so full of amazing items. I’ve found so many things for my grandson. And don’t get me started on the employees. Very kind. Especially one in particular, I believe her name may have been Stephanie or Sarah. So informative. Sweetest young lady ever! Helped me find exactly what i was looking for. Definitely will be shopping here again!

Seemed like a great spot! Overpriced on some items that could be retail at Walmart! Also too small for how much they have! You could tell a store is overpriced if you are completely full and refuse to take more items as well!

Dont sell your items here. Waste of time. You would do better just having a yard sale. When you take otems in they DO NOT EVEN look at them. I left indicators in my container this time that proved they dont even look at it all. And everything i took was practically new and only worn once. Its a little insulting at this point. So ill just have a yard sale instead.

Lazy! My wife and I took in a tub of clothes, filled. I watched her go through ALL of the clothes beforehand to get rid of stained, ripped, or soiled items. She previously had worked for OUAC so she’s well aware of “in-season” clothing they accept. First, we walked in and you could hear two of the ladies sorting sigh. Which I understand, but I shouldn’t see you roll your eyes and sigh as we walk into your JOB. Then they were so greatly rude! Pushing us out as soon as possible. Even after this, we returned to pick up and they had done NOTHING but simply shove their arms into the tub. Everything just tossed around the tub and took $6 worth of things, as I previously stated, the tub was FULL. I hope we just caught them on a bad day because if this is their usual, it’s horrible.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I enjoy selling the items my girls no longer need in order to obtain new items that my son does need. I am able to wander the aisles while I wait for my items to sell and see what I need or can get.

I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt to this store, I have worked in resell consignment before and I understand how tedious it can be to go through peoples things over and over time and time again but after today I am honestly done and I don’t even know if I will ever go back to them and I usually go to them about once a week. Today I took in a bag and another bag full of toys not very used toys mind you they were LOL dolls that retail at very high prices,and I honestly only took them in because my daughter loves them and has so many duplicates that at this point we have to get rid of some so she can have new ones. I also have been to sell several times and this time actually went thru everything in my bag to look for stains and such on the items, also in the bag I had four pairs of shorts I bought from them last week but because I took the tags off and couldn’t find my receipt I was just going to take the loss and sell them back. Well turns out they only wanted my toys, and at that they only wanted to give me 8.50 ! But I’m not even telling u the good part I literally was in the clothes and never ONCE saw them go through my bag of clothes just my toys!!! When I went to “pick up” I asked about the toys and they looked so mad that I was asking and looking thru the tote! The prices they are going to sell them at is not half like they say they will give you. After checking out and getting to my car I realize that they actually took all my lol dolls BUT I did not see them in the tote of the buy items! So where r they you ask? They claimed all the ones I sold were in the tote and that the ones I “claimed” I had I never had! I am not a liar but at that point I was done and embarrassed! This store has went so down hill and I kept shopping there out of loyalty but should have stopped when I realized that the employee there could care less!!! It’s bad enough you have children of the employees in there running around all the time but to be accused of lying?!

I dont want to give away my secret kids book spot but WOW their selection is usually pretty good. My classroom has been stocked through the years from this location.

I always liked this store because the selection and pricing is fantastic but the organization now is 100% better!! I would get overwhelmed before with the jumbled disorganization but when I walked in last week it was like haaa the pearly gates opening. Good job staff! The place is awesome -and the employees are very kind. Was only disappointed bathroom was closed since my son is potty training.

Staff was extremely rude and blunt.Customer service is poor.Regardless of the items they didnt choose to keep.. The overall attitude was poor. Never going back here.

I wish I could give zero stars to this particular store location. I love Once Upon a Child but I attempted to sell here and they were either trying to steal my items for their own kids or offer me way lower and keep the rest of the money. New Birkenstock’s, new vans, and 5 pair of other shoes (Nike, Oshkosh, and carters) were all hidden under a North face coat that they offered me 12.00 for TOTAL. I am so thankful that I checked under the coat after it clicked that I had a ton of shoes missing to only offer 12.00. Don’t sell here. Sell at Indy West - great staff and they are fair!!

Love getting cash for the clothes, toys, swings, etc that my son grows out of, just to turn around and spend it there getting bigger sizes! Nice selection

Drove an hour to sell a tote and half of clothes organized how they said to, and two toys. Got there an hour and 15 minutes before closing and the manager said she can keep it till tomorrow but can’t look through it today even though the automated phone recording says there isn’t a time they stop taking stuff. This is the second time they have done this to me. Will not be back, & will never recommend them to anyone. Horrible customer service.

**Zero Stars** They only went through a small portion of my clothes. When they gave me my stuff back there was still 20 dollars worth of brand new outfits in there. And they were still very rude to me about it. The clothes out on the floor are so old and stained and mismatched, but they wouldnt buy some of my brand new stuff that maybe had a small piece of fuzzy on it. Ridiculous, horrible system. The shoes are disgusting. They seem to have no type of process for buying.

Consumer alert❗Ive taken a day to think about this before posting.... This place is criminal. Very simple. You drop your things off and they go through. Simple right? Until you come back and dont pay attention to what they give you back. My friend of 40+ years found her items on there shelves for sell and she was NOT going to be given anything but a smile. We all know that smile. Offering a scooter she was told $2.50. Thats two dollars and fifty cents for something they could not find on line and her husband found immediately off Google for over $100. I will give this company the benefit to reply otherwise it is the company that is at fallt. After finding some of her belongings on the shelves for sell without compensation I believe this is just Criminal. Everyone please pay attention to what is going on with this

This is my go-to place to get toys and clothes for my kids. Its especially helpful when yard sale season is over. This location packs an impressive selection of clothes and toys into a tight space. Prices are higher than yard sale, but definitely more affordable than new and such a swath of choices is great. I appreciate being able to return items with their tags with no problems within a week.As a seller, I am sometimes bummed by how little theyll take, but I do appreciate that they want stuff that will actually sell. My favorite feature was dropping my stuff to sell, having them call me when theyd assessed it and being able to return to get payment. They do see incredible volume for sellers, so I can see why theyve started the practice.

Id give a 0 if possible. I brought in 3 big bags of clothes (not knowing couldnt be in bags ill cover that in a sec.) And a tent. I walked in carrying the bags. Seen the sign that we had to wear masks. Said no problem i have them in the car. So we went to the car and got masks etc. Came back in and they checked me in, then said i needed my phone.....also in my car. So kids and i went back etc. They finished me up and told me it would be ready in just a bit.....even wrote 3 large bags on my tags. Of course me living 45 min away the kids and i drove around and went to a place to eat etc. So like 2 hrs later i finally got the message it was ready. I go in and they said were offering 5 dollars and change.....i chuckled and said thats all from 3 big bags. Then they said well we dont take clothes in bags its a newer policy. So i said that would have been nice to have been told that before i left. All i got was a sarcastic sorry. So i took the clothes and left. Once in the car i realized the 3 items they did take that were in the tubs of things they wanted. The tent, a brand new dress with the tags on.....which was in a bag, and new sandals....also in a bag. Im disappointed that they let me waste my time. I literally planned on turning that cash around plus much much more to get my twins all set for the next 2 seasons. I could care less if they didnt want any of the clothes....its the point that i didnt matter to them nor my buisness. I took them elswhere where they were glad to take all the clothes. As a 10+year manager yall can do much better . Customer interaction is wayyyy more important than was shown.

Dont spend money at departments stores or buying things new! This is the place to go when you have little ones! The kids grow out of clothes so quickly, that its not worth spending money on new! You know this because some of the items for re-sale still have the original tags because the kid didnt even get to wear it before they grew!!! Save your money and buy EVERYTHING baby here! Clothes, costumes, blankets, toys, strollers, cribs....EVERYTHING!

This is by far the BEST Once Upon A Child in the Indianapolis area. The customer service is outstanding, the prices are decent, and I must say, they have gone above and beyond helping me when I am in this store. Today when I was in with my toddlers, and pregnant I might add, my children were screaming so I took them to the car even though I was waiting to sell items. One of the associates, brought all of the containers they didnt want, loaded them into my car for me, and also brought me the money to my car for the items they wanted. Without me even asking! I was highly impressed and will always shop here from now on.

Love the selection - but definitely have to take your time going through everything and double check for stains as well as the condition of the clothing before purchasing. Great prices and love the bag events! Would love to get emails regarding sales at your location. I’m signed up, but never receive emails regarding sales.Toy area is a complete mess and really needs to either be picked up throughout each day or quit buying toys until it can get under control. Kids are always back there unsupervised... all it’s going to take it one accident before a kid gets hurt, so fix the problem. Toys are out of packages and I’ve witnessed people taking toys without paying for them - expressed my concerns and warned employees but it falls on deaf ears.Clothing selection is well organized. Great pricing- especially during sale/tag events. Please work on the toy section for the safety of the kids and to give your customers the opportunity to go through the items without having to step over multiple toys or slipping on something.

Once Upon A Child is an interesting shop.My sister and I traveled here to sell some very lightly used items. It was an hour and a half wait to sell the items, which was understandable with the amount of people there had been! I mean..people were standing outside with bins of things! It made it hard for customers to shop around! The workers were very dull, unresponsive, and not very helpful. I definitely wasnt a fan of Once Upon A Child.

I am Highly disappointed in this Once Upon A Child. I have only been to two of them, but this one is just awful! First of all, every time that I have gone in, there store is so overly stocked that you can barely walk in the aisles. I understand what it is like to have so much stuff, but they seriously need to put some in storage or not take anything. Secondly, several times I have been in there, the music is completely inappropriate for children. I would never take my children in there. Third, their play area makes it really hard for a parent to shop. The play areas are set up for parents to be able to set their children down to play without worry of them leaving that area for fast and easy shopping. There is a big hole in the play area for the children to easily crawl in and out of. Therefore, you arent really able to do the fast and easy shopping. Not to mention, the music is so loud that you would never be able to hear your children screaming or anything of the sort anyway. The last thing is when you go to sell your childs old things. I already know the way it works about the price to which they sell things to you. They are able to sell it for 50% of what you bought it for (once they purchase it) and you get 25-50% of what they will be selling it for. They have to make a profit somewhere. This location does not seem to be going by that rule. Because everything you get is so much cheaper than what it is supposed to be. I know they are supposed to go by the date year of which it was being sold, but I have bought a brand new toy a week before... as in it has not been sold at stores for more than two weeks. Why did I only get 5$ for it? When I am damn sure I spent a good 60$ on it?? I was selling it because my child had no interest in it what so ever. They also take longer than you would think to check what you are selling. They also do not have any common sense to tell you that they are not accepting certain sizes until they have already checked through all of your stuff. From now on, I will continue going to the one on E. Washington Street. They are a lot friendlier, clean, and tell you what you as a seller (or even buyer) would want to know. They are the ones I will go to for everything from now on.

I really enjoy the selection at your store. My only problem I have is that it seems like things arent as organized. I have to dig through the baby items and toys to see what all you have. Just a difficult thing to do with two kids. Other than that I love shopping here! Prices are reasonable and staff is so friendly 😊

Went every ware looking for a harlequin costume we walked in a there it was never been warm I go in looking for one thing and always leave with more stuff my grandkids are growing faster then weeds. You just dont know what you will find.

Their shoes are NEVER correctly sorted by size and they like to scatter the stuff that’s in season all over the store >:(The clothes are often overpriced and they really short you when you’re selling clothing. They offered me 2 freaking dollars for 4 pairs of unworn baby shoes with tags and 2 unused silicone bibs still in original packaging. What a rip off.On the flip side, they do have good deals if you luck out AND you’re willing to hunt for them. Bottom line is sell on eBay, shop here only if you have infinite patience ;)

I love the selection and the prices but sometimes Ill buy something from there that has a stain, hole or seam coming apart. Theyre so strict with what they buy but this still happens. I never notice it until its too late and Ive removed tags making it impossible to return.Other than that Ive got no complaints. Its well organized and clean.

I think this is one of the BEST in Indianapolis. They have a huge selection, its really well organized, and although the toys in the back ARE all over the floor.... They dont have a play area like some of the others so OF COURSE there are going to be toys all over the place! I had no trouble finding a toy for my son amid the chaos. I am a mom so I am used to it! Lol the staff are really friendly and helpful, over all I love this store!

I love this store. Everything is mark so well and separated in sizes which make shopping for me so much easier. Prices are unbelievably so low. What a great place to find almost every thing you could possibly need.

Its really hit or miss at this location. Youll either get greeted immediately or completely ignored. The times when Im ignored is not because theyre too busy to assist. The associates will look right at you and no one will react-some dont even smile and looked ticked off. Theyre generally slow so dont go there expecting them to be efficient.

I love this place. One of my most favorite stores!!! I shop here so much. So much that you would think I was rich. But this location I believe has the best staff and they are so kind!

I took 2 large totes of toys my daughter had outgrown. A bunch of miscellaneous and an extensive Paw Patrol collection. Approximately 40 figures, a dozen cars, Paw patroller sea boat and tower with racetrack. They finished my order and showed me the tote with what they wanted to buy for 26.00. Surprisingly none of the Paw Patrol was in there. My husband came in to carry out the rejected stuff and the Paw patrol tower was in there. He asked if there was something wrong with it and the associate said she hadnt gone through it, another associate had but she would throw it the bag. He asked if he needed to get back in line to get paid for it. She said we wouldnt get any additional money for it, they would put it in the bag and sell it all for 18.00. She then held up a bag with all the Paw Patrol in it, from behind the counter! And we were told that it was included in the original buy amount. I said I wasnt selling all that for what they had given me, so they refunded me 7.20. I have sold before and was told they give customers half of what it will be sold for, so on what planet is 7.20 half of 18.00? And hiding items behind the counter, maybe so customers dont realize what all you are trying to purchase? And then trying to take another toy for free? To anybody selling, I would suggest making a really good list of everything you take in so none of your stuff ends up behind the counter without you knowing. Also, while waiting found items that were gross. A chair with a crusty yellow substance on it, a swing with a lump of I dont even know what in it.

Always able to find a great variety of toys and clothes for my 3 boys here. They love to come along and shop with us. Friendly staff and great products.

Staff is unfriendly, they made us walk our small children to Walmart and did not allow them to use their restroom while shopping there

I love Once Upon A Child... Well, I love every other Once Upon A Child. The US 31 location has very rude employees. Ive called other locations, theyre happy to help, and they go check items. Several times if need be.At the 31 location if you call they act like youre wasting their time.If you go in theyre the same way. They go out of their way to not answer questions.Ive gave them enough chances. I wont go back.

I absolutely love once upon a child. I have always had a good experience when shopping or selling and always feel like I get a good price for what I sell. The quality of product that is available is great and well organized. Love it!!!

I dont know why theres bad reviews. I found a bunch of very cheap clothes for my daughter. It was busy but its because I went on a weekend. There were many people working and everyone was doing something. I was greeted and someone even gave me a cart. This location is far for me but well worth it!

If you want your money to really work for you this holiday season this is your store! Big store, lots of toys and clothes to choose from this season at a fraction of the cost.Maybe you have so many gently used toys and clothes that you dont know what to do with them, sell them to this store and have cash for your holiday as a reward to yourself.

Out of the stores in Indy this is my favorite one. They always have a great selection of clothes. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because sometimes they will keep higher name brand clothing even if it is stained or worn.

Great place to get kids clothes, except the last few times we have gone, there doesnt seem to be a lot of organization. We will be looking in the size 6 section, but half the clothes are size 5 or 8. Also, some of the prices seem to be a bit high. Little boys jeans for $10 when I can go to Walmart and get new ones for $5 to $8. We never buy anything more than $3 to $5 because it is just not worth it when I can get brand new for the same price.

I had a good experience here. I found really cheap clothes for my 8 month old and the staff helped me multiple times getting things down to look at from the top shelves. Overall everyone was friendly and I got a good deal on everything I bought!

I love this store. Everyone is always helpful and very nice. If it wasnt for this store Im not sure how I would have clothed my sweet little girl and bought her thousands of toys.

I would recommend this to those that really need odds and ends for their child on a low budget. There were many items I found that were priced a little higher than I would have liked, especially obviously worn-to-the-limit items. With new clothing at stores like Target and Carters being so affordable, I find it difficult to pay $4-5 dollars for very worn items. There were definitely perks, like outerwear, baby carriers, strollers, and some toys but I was not impressed with the clothing.

Love this store. Lots of great clothes to pick from at affordable prices. My boys go through clothes so fast and I feel like I am helping my family budget by shopping at this store!

This is by far my favorite location. I go about once a week and the staff have never been rude. They cant pay you a fortune for your items because then how are they suppose to make any profit.

This location has got a large selection and is better organized than another Once Upon a Child Ive been to. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I really benefit from their rewards program.

My experience was absolutely terrible. The staff was super rude, and they didnt even look through one of the two totes that I had brought. On top of that their policies were not explained to me, so I waited 3 1/2 hours before I even got an answer on what was going on. I had called to inquire about it due to the wait, and I got hung up on. Second time I called the chick I talked to was super rude. So I ended up going in about an hour and a half before they closed and talked to the manager, who just gave me excuses as to why their policy wasnt addressed with me, and that they were super busy. Which dont get me wrong, I completely understand, but if theres not enough time or people to get something done on a busy day, then why even accept people bringing their stuff in that day? Customer time is just as much important as associates. The store was a mess, and even though there were brand new clothes and shoes in the totes I brought, they gave me $20 for a few items and called it a day. Didnt even look through everything. Which makes no sense considering that most of the stuff in there looks disgusting. I will not be going back again, to sell Or buy, and I wont recommend for anyone to go there. Absolutely terrible service.

Pro tip: look through the bin of items they chose before you agree to their buy!I shop here a lot and have no issues with that side of the business. For the first time a few days ago I dropped off some clothes and accessories for them to go through. I had called ahead to see what items they accepted, and when they said all, I pressed further to see what they really needed. The employee said everything. So I hauled my entire lot to the store. They were done sorting through quickly and only bought $7 worth of stuff. The employee said they already had a lot of three month clothing in the store to sell, which was the majority of the clothes I dropped off. I was annoyed by this since I had called ahead and was told differently. She tilted the bin of clothes they had chosen my way only for a moment and then put it behind the counter. It wasnt until I got home that I noticed ALL of the sets I had dropped off (onesie/pant/jacket sets, etc) were missing one piece each! One set was a one piece with hat and bib, and they only took the one piece. Seriously?! Why would you break up matching sets? I will not sell to them again.

Ive found great stuff while shopping here but I wont sell to them again, they really low LOWball you. Its great to shop but not for selling if your items are worth more than they offer.

I shop here to help supplement my daughters wardrobe and just love it. They have used Soccer equipment and used leotards for gymnastics. Love it!

Sadly, the place is a mess and very crowded. Occasionally I find specialty pieces here but most of the items are too highly priced for the quality. Today was my first time attempting to sell clothing. DO NOT SELL YOUR ITEMS HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE HOURS TO WAIT! The do not do a very good job of explain their policy about who gets served first. They also put you in the back of the line if you leave the store, even if you had already waited quite a while. They also only have a couple of chairs to sit in as you wait so make sure you leave your kids at home. Sadly, I dont think I will be doing this again.

I love Once Upon a Child, but this location has to have the rudest, most unprofessional staff I have ever encountered at a OUAC location. I have been coming to this location off-and-on for about 5 years and from the first time we set foot in this store my husband and I noticed that the employees here acted as though they couldnt stand being her. Youre hard pressed to ever see anyone smile. I have heard inappropriate music played in this location on a few occasions and the most surprising thing about that is that its not just when there are young employees working, but some of the older women have been present for this as well. They have a good selection and usually good prices, but their employees leave much to be desired.

Very rude, dont explain to you before dropping youre things off that it could be a couple hours before youre things are looked at. Wont return. Will continue to go to the west side one.

Have found some great bargains for my daughters, as well, as received a decent amount of money for items I brought in. Much better than spending the day trying to sell items at a garage sale. The staff has also been very friendly in my experience.

Wouldnt take a SINGLE article of clothes from two trash bags full of brand new clothes with the tags because they were out of style. seriously? Its tank tops, shirts, shorts, stuff that isnt high fashion and doesnt go out of style. She didnt even go through one of the bags. The big girl was probably too lazy to go through them.

UPDATE: my previous rating was only two stars because of the mess they had in the store.I went back today after 10 months and they have improved so much! The toys are hung and in huge bins now, not strung out everywhere! I found a great selection for my son, too! Great improvement for sure!!So this is the only OUAC Ive visited in indy... Ive been there twice, the first time I was not too impressed.. the items were so worn down, not much worth purchasing. They had a ton of toys all over the floor in the back. I just thought they had a bad day. Well okay visited again today.. same thing, the toys were ridiculous! I couldnt even look at any toys because I couldnt get back there, the floor was covered in toys... I did manage to find a good pair of sandals.. I was standing in line and the cashier came up to help out and said she could help who is next, a lady behind me was rude. The cashiers were nice and friendly, they just seemed overwhelmed.

I always have a great experience at the Terre Haute, IN location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We always find stylish clothes for the kiddos in great condition. I also enjoy selling our gently used clothing to Once Upon A Child because they offer a fair amount and its nice to be part of the process.

Always a very friendly staff with the best prices and selection out of all the stores. We buy and trade regularly, and are very happy and loyal customers :-)

Brought in a bunch of clothes that I had thoroughly checked over prior finding NO stains. Some items had even been worn only once. Was told by the ever so rude lady that they were not going to take any of my items due to spot staining, etc. Umm, have they looked at their items that they are currently offering for sale? Most of them are faded, fraying, and have noticeable stains. Her response, when asked why they sell other items that have stains, was that they had been overlooked. They lost my business, found another shop down the road that is much nicer, more organized, and has friendly staff. Oh, and this new place took the items that were supposedly stained. SUCH A RIPOFF!!!!!!

I always enjoy shopping there, but its extremely frustrating trying to sell them anything. I always try to bring in up coming season clothes in great-good condition but they cherry pick through it and only take a fraction while offering me pennies.

They are no longer non-for-profit Most of their prices have gone up and you get less for what you bring in! Theyre much more picky about the things that they accept and no longer donate to shelters. On top of all this, they failed to mention you have to stay in the store to have your cloths looked through. I dropped off several boxes of cloths and told them I would be back in a few hours. They said that will be fine.. When I called to see if things were ready, they told me they didnt look at my cloths since I left. They used to be great. Now their worthless.

I love my local OUAC store. There really are some great deals if you dig enough. The veterans in there, who i see pretty much everytime ive gone in the last year or 2, just seem miserable. I also feel they should be more picky about buying some of the bigger harder to clean cloth items. Covered in pen marks and stains. Yes it can be cleaned but the peoole selling should be held to a higher standard in my opinion. Lol overall ill shop here until i die or move

Its an ok place to shop but not to sell to. I gave them 5 bags of clothes they said they needed 1/2 a bag worth and 4 1/2 came home with me. If any of my clothes are slightly damaged I toss them so I know I didnt give stained or ruined stuff but on the rack are clothes that reek of cigarettes or are pilly. Its a waste of my time, effort and strength to haul all this stuff in, they take a fraction of stuff (because they only go through one bag or tote and hand the rest back to you) and hand you meger money for it. To sell, youd be better off at a garage sale or finding a different shop to sell or donate to.

Love their deals! Always do birthday and Christmas clothes and toy shopping here . Spend a fraction of what youd normally spend and walk out with more than you could hope for!

One day I wanted to see if the store would buy some of my items but since the items were items for a boy the store wouldnt consider them. I must say I was pretty upset the clothes I had were very good item.

How can you honestly sat that u but all seasons all day long but then get told because you have used this location maybe 5 times total that you are considered a frequent seller and you can only come in on wednesday because thats what this one manager said....disgrace of a store you will be lucky if they even look through all your items most of the time they will just grab handfuls out of your bag kind of look at the handful and throw to the no pile....then getbtold one of the times i think our 2nd time in there that i had some similar items as the first time and she rudely told us that she wasnt going to look through our items because there was 2 similar items i think her name was janessa or something like that also....we love the 71st street store...but southport is a disgrace

IMO this is the best Once Upon a Child in Indy. Great stock that turns over pretty well so it seems theres always new things when I come in every month or so.

So many kids clothes and always different and changing. Good to make a trip here to have them buy before taking kids clothes to goodwill.

They are always helpful and efficient. The system they have in place works well 😊👍🏼

Ive gotten some great deals here! Its generally pretty busy and sometimes there is a long wait to sell and/or check out, so I try to go with a friend to pass the time.

I have only shopped so can only talk of that. This is by far the best OUAC I have been to in Indy. Speedway location is beyond awful, 86th st is decent, and Carmel has extremely rude staff. This location is generally clean enough to be able to shop, although all locations are dinky.As far as the music, as someone mentioned, apparently the Christian station K-love is inappropriate to children....they play this at all stores and I know because its what I listen to. The play area is nice, although you are to neve leave your child alone so you can shop, thats just irresponsible... I gave it a 4 because the layout of all at stores give me anxiety because they are small and hard to navigate. But they are able to help me afford clothing for my children.

Love find great prices on toys games and clothing for both my little ones.

The person who started once upon a child started from garage sales and these people say you cant frequently sell to them even if you have nice things or your considered a vendor. They were rude to my disabled daughter . Terrible terrible place

I go in there often aND most the time the staff is very helpful . I also sell items .

Prices arent too bad on most items, but some are ridiculous. They also dont buy things that are nicer than what they have in the store.

They buy mechanical stuff and sell it over priced and then after a few days quits working. Dont buy swings from any of the stores and the employees act like they dont like there job

They dont give enough money. i took three very expensive toys in there and they wanted 5 dollars for all three. very dissapointing
