Very cool laid back atmosphere. You feel like youve stepped into another realm when you enter. The coffee was so good! I got the Spanish Latte and a bagel. Regular bagel no complaints but my oh my that Spanish Latte was so good I needed to have one to go. Vintage setting great aroma in the air. All in all a good time.
I think this is one of those gems in Indy, the coffee can cost anywhere from 3 to 5 dollars, a really fantastically affordable coffee shop. The coffee isnt the best Ive ever had. But, its consistent and will always be a go to for myself. The setting promotes a feeling of productivity and focus. The staff are also super sociable and kind.
If you are looking for good coffee, (not Starbucks), you’re way too far past the mark if you go here. I don’t want my coffee in a garage, let alone ‘traditional’ coffee that adds cinnamon and ginger instead of syrup. If you’re looking for a decent latte that’s not overly expensive and wafting with pretentiousness, try somewhere else. Anyway, the baristas were kind and that was nice👍🏽
If you wanted to try something new - come here. Tons of different coffee beans from around the globe, quality preparation + some can also get tea and pastries. The interior is spacious and the atmosphere is very laid back - we’ll definitely be back! It wasn’t pricy either and parking was easy to find.
Im so happy that I found this great coffee shop! Im from out of town and I was pleasantly surprised to see the wide variety of coffee selection at Kaffeine. I was also very surprised to find that they served Café de Olla - a traditional Mexican coffee beverage. Its made with Mexican ground coffee, cinnamon, and raw dark sugar called Piloncillo. I spoke with a gentlemen who worked there named Chris who tells me they like experimenting with traditional coffee drinks from around the world. Café de Olla is only there for a limited time so make sure you try some! Cheers.
This coffee shop is a little unassuming from the outside. We were a little surprised at where it was, actually! But we are so glad we stopped in! It’s so cool inside. We got Spanish lattes based off other reviews and we were not disappointed! So delicious and the girl working the counter was very nice! We will come back whenever we are in the area next!
This has to be up there in the top two best coffee shops in Indy. Kavka and this are by far my favorite. They are on to some next level coffee and tea brewing!!!! Tyler was an absolute delight! His presence here really just adds to this hidden gem! His flavor and expertise really complimented our experience!!!
Lovely coffee shop, in a fun location with great friendly staff.
Lovely experience in a refurbished garage shop. Many drink options and some pastries choices. We had the Bicerin (chocolate, espresso, foam) and Spanish coffee (condensed milk and cinnamon) and they were very good!
Great coffee and a great space to sit and chat.
Amazing Kenyan Chemex brew. 👌
Delicious latte and the peach bar was great!
A must stop! This is my favorite coffee shop in Indianapolis. They have a huge variety of drinks with many methods of brewing for you to try. If you are going to get a latte, try the Spanish latte! The atmosphere is very trendy and there are some bigger tables that can be used for big groups. Many people work and study here and is a great environment. They also have great scones that are worth a try!
This is probably one of the best coffee shops in Indy. I wish if their operation hours are extended.
Chill relaxing place to do some homework or read. I tried the kaffeine blend drip coffee, very smooth and great flavor!
Nice place but the coffee is more 1.2 wave... not third wave. Seriously though cozy place bad coffee and tea
Super cute, delicious, peaceful coffee shop to relax or work.
This is a really cute, aesthetically pleasing bakery. it has a cute sit down area. Soufflé here are cute and taste good!
Went here for the first time today and loved it! Very cool atmosphere, delicious Cafe Miel and espresso, and nice baristas!! I got to talk to Tyler and Dani about their beans and they were super friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend to a friend for a good place to study, have a coffee date, or just get some good brew :)
Very local based and taste amazing
Always a fantastic experience here! Fresh brewed coffee and no syrups.
This is probably one of the coolest coffee shops Ive ever been in. We just stumbled on it while we were out exploring. What an exciting surpise! They have this mid-century commerce vibe in like an old warehouse. Definitely worth your time.
Cute, traditional coffee shop
Great atmosphere, delicious lattes (got both a regular and a Spanish-so good), super tasty everything bagels (both sides are covered in topping), highly recommend!
Since the pandemic began, I have decided to buy coffee grounds from local coffee shops, and Kaffeine Coffee Co did not disappoint! They had a variety of options available. I really like their Nicaraguan beans. Nice staff and atmosphere, too.
Fantastic service, laid back environment, decent pricing, good coffee, free WiFi. What else do I need to tell you? Just go check it out
Such a COOL placeFANTASTIC use of spaceJust a short walk from homeI havent gotten out to roamaround much this yearThanks for being here.Outstanding products
This place is amazing. The coffee is fantastic, and the service is even better. Can’t recommend enough!
So delicious! Loved the latte and bought some espresso. The baristas were super friendly and knowledgeable!
I’ll admit that I’m not a well versed coffee or tea drinker, at all but I wanted to give tea a try on this snowy day. I had the pleasure of meeting the barista, Annabelle, who recommended a warm tea that I actually really enjoyed! She was very welcoming, conversational and recommended how long I should steep the tea for because I had no clue. Wonderful experience all around and the wood & vintage feel all contributed to this great experience. The only thing I would tweak would be the music. I would recommend streaming something advertisement free and a little more upbeat. Other than that minor suggestion, this place is a wonderful coffee shop and a very friendly staff. Thanks Annabelle! I’ll definitely be coming back.
Love this place. Cool vibe and very friendly staff.
Order the Spanish latte, you wont regret it!
I always have great experiences here picking up coffee. They have a very friendly, polite staff. Today I had iced Vietnamese coffee which was delicious!
The barista was super friendly, the vibe is relaxed and comfortable. The Vietnamese coffee is amazing (better hot than cold, in my opinion). The maple pecan oatmeal cookie is to die for!
Good coffee! Cute shop!
One of best local coffee
Great industrial feel, they do a swift trade so be sure to get there early if you want to sit at a table, however the bar top is good seating as well.I had a latte, delicious, with a light flaky puff pastry featuring goat cheese and fig? Whatever it was, it was scrumptious! Great atmosphere and courteous staff.
Lovely place, lovely people, great house coffee! Its a bit hidden but there is parking in front of the building! They sent me a dollar off coupon because I mentioned that It was my first time there. Shows me that they listen and support their customers. Of the coffee shops Ive visited so far Ive enjoyed this one the most.
Excellent coffee and hardworking, quick, and talented baristas. I was very impressed today. The african coffee is sublime, and I am a big fan of the Ethiopian Blend!
Wonderful and diverse coffee and really nice staff. Can get a little dark inside, but otherwise a great place to hang out. Love the high ceilings too.
Absolutely love this coffee shop! My favorite downtown work / meetup spot. Their cold brew and coffee cake are incredible!
Its pricey, but worth it. Outstanding java. Sampled a pour over, and a Vietnamese coffee. Both were excellent. Wonderful space, easy place to relax in. Friendly staff. Will return.
Nice place, nice people and easy to park. Thank you
Very chilled place.... I loved the place since it is perfect for a morning coffee and to code. It gives you vibe of thinking out of the box or imagine. I didnt feel much difference in coffee taste. But would love to go alone and spend sometime with my laptop. Good place for creative thinking...
Great local Indy coffee spot! I live nearby and this place is my go to for a caffeine treat. The Spanish latte and iced coffee are my two favorite items.
Awesome coffee shop! I love that it’s just straight coffee. They don’t add any syrups or anything. I love their Spanish latte. I often go as a place to get a bunch of work done. It’s a great spot just to tuck away somewhere and crank some work out for me. It’s a little off the beaten path and parking is not the greatest. Closest kind of early for a coffee shop to you I think but other than that it’s a great spot.
Dan kindly suggested the cafe de olla and made it to perfection. He also made a recommendation to warm up the blueberry muffin. If I could start every Monday like I did the one this morning, I may go from “workin for the weekend” to workin for Monday mornings with Dan at Kaffeine.
Very good coffee
This Kraft Koffee is Krazy good. Kudos, guys.
Brewed coffee is flavorful and delicious. Have also had the Spanish latte and a cranberry scone which were both amazing. Good place to get some work done while enjoying coffee and a snack.
1 star because their posted times do not match the actual times of the store. Would love to try their coffee, have heard nothing but positive things, but they are always closed every time i go. Please local Indy businesses, if you are changing your hours for any reason, please update them on Google.
One of the best coffees I had (being from New York, its hell of a compliment here). Will visit you again next year (every day) for sure. Thanks for making my stay in Indianapolis a success.
I know Im probably supposed to review the coffee above all else, but man the vibes of this place are very chill. Its tucked away in this little industrial area, but its like peak coffee house aesthetic. Its a cool place to just hang out. I had the cold brew, and a croissant, and it was very good. If you like coffee places that would also look good on your instagram feed, then this is probably a place to try out. Only downside would be they didnt have soy milk, but I had the oat milk, and it was still great!
Calm morning atmosphere with good amount of tables, right volume to the barley-noticed-coffee-shop soundtrack, and a delicious espresso base. Would recommend for small groups of 5 or less. Has stairs at entrance (without obvious ramp option) so would not recommend for stroller / wheelchair. Revamped industrial look that doesnt seem posed but an authentic attitude. Parking is limited so support your local transit!
Very tucked away, relaxing coffee shop. Amazing baristas that are very knowledgeable. Coffee was delicious with plenty of options. Would recommend if in the city or needing a good cup just off the interstate. Will definitely be back.
Amazing vibes and beautiful area. Music was perfect and the coffee was even better! Will definitely be coming back when I’m here in Indianapolis!
Great atmosphere. And the music is always chill and easy to work too. Ive worked from here quite a few times and Im able to easily focus and jump on video calls if needed with no issues. Awesome spot to drop in for coffee, work and to meet with people for a chat.
Beautiful space, phenomenal coffee made with love.
Great spot for traditional coffee beverages from around the world.
Wasn’t impressed with the range of products they offered and it was dark and rather dreary inside. That would have led to three stars. But when I witnessed an employee making fun of a customer with another patron and the manager publicly berate that employee. Yeah, that knocked it to a one. No call for either of those circumstances, whatsoever. While it could be a good, local, out of the way coffee shop, I won’t be back.
Kaffeine Coffee Co. Just the name itself rings of a coffee shop of quality space and character. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the Indianapolis area and possibly at the top for study spaces! Set in an old garage, there’s a coziness in the building that’s lit with Edison bulbs among other neat decoration. There’s plenty of good table or counter space to work, chat or just enjoy a good coffee at.
We loved the atmosphere here! This place has a great vibe! We enjoyed the espresso and latte as well. The service was cordial and friendly. The baristas are very knowledgeable. Great place to hangout and grab a cup of caffeine! We would go back again.
What a cool coffee shop! This place has an awesome vintage feel and pretty great coffee, too. The owner is the nicest guy youll meet all day. We had a great experience popping in here for a quick hit of the good stuff.Do yourself a favor and go hit this place up.
We try to stop in every time we are in that area of town. Personal favorite is the cold brew.
First off my coffee was delicious. Secondly, how did it take me two years to try this spot out. The design choices and overall layout make for a very laid back but inviting atmosphere. When the front door is up and open wide a lot of the outside comes in.As Mass Ave continues its growth I hope this coffe spot gets even more exposure. Great spot.
Great vibe, great coffee.
Coffee (a latte) was delightful and the staff super polite.
My husband and I are always in search of a good cup of coffee. We stopped in last weekend and we were lucky enough to meet/chit chat with one of the owners--so kind! Kaffeine is a local shop with all the hand brews, scones, and good tunes you need for a coffee date, study spot, or reading perch!
The service was friendly (especially given covid-19 limitations on staff). For a place that claims to bring Third wave coffee to the Indianapolis Area, though, the drinks were disappointing. There was virtually no information available for the coffee (staff couldnt even tell if the Ethiopia on pourover was a natural/dry or washed process - they dont roast their own coffee, and attempting to track down the information via a search for Ethiopian coffee from their roaster/supplier yielded nothing) and the finer points of technique were unimpressive (latte milk texture was meh at best). To be fair, the coffee is ok and will probably please a crowd (weight based espresso dosing, wide array of beans available on pourover, extensive possibilities on the drink menu, etc.), but for the claims made on their website it was a bit of a let down. Roast profile is light(er) if youre coming from a second wave paradigm (Starbucks, etc.), and Ill always support a local small business, but go elsewhere if youre seeking tasting notes or anything else thats appealing about modern specialty coffee.Pastries (cinnamon roll, muffin) were fine. And forgettable.
