I love the staff here. Theyre always so friendly and someone even remembered my name. 🥰 The coffee is always delicious and the baked items are always perfectly cooked. Never stale or overcooked. I love coming here to hang out or do computer work because its a great shop. Highly recommend!

A great little Southside gem I found while eschewing the national chain. The parking area in front is a bit small, but theres more room around back. They are also building a new deck for additional room. Inside the seating is generous, the music at just the right level where you can hear it, yet still have a quiet conversation. The coffee is delicious and the batista clearly loves their job - outstanding coffee art. Needless to say, Ill be back! Thanks for a great experience.

Ive always had a great experience getting some morning coffee from here! It always tastes great, is quick, and has a great atmosphere. This is a GREAT alternative to larger coffee chains and always feels more personal!

I love mocha nut! Their chocolate chip cookies are absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to try a lemon bar. I order the cafe miel every time, and it’s always delicious. Yummy, smooth espresso. They are also super nice here. Love this place

This is one of my favorite places on the southside. This locally owned business is a great place to grab your favorite cup of coffee, meet up with someone or just sit and work for a bit away from home. The Mocha Nut opened summer 2019 and since then has become a popular spot for all ages. They have all things coffee, soda/juice and some bakery items. The staff is great and the owners are some of the most wonderful folks youll meet. Good service, good coffee, local business. Seriously worth a visit or ten.

My husband and I came here today because we were looking for a cute coffee place to lounge and read our books in. This place was perfect. They have good coffee, some nice lounge chairs and a decent ambience. My husband got the Ethiopian coffee and I chose the flat white. They werent the best weve had but still pretty good. We want to try their nitro brew next and hopefully take home a growler full! So yeah, wed definitely go again and we recommend it to others too!

I slowed as I passed this place up on Southport Road. However I circled back around because saw it was a Coffee Shop!As I pulled into the parking I notice Seth waving at me to welcome me to his Coffee Shop that was almost ready to open. I almost left but this gesture alone prompted me to visit his elegantly designed Coffee Shop..It is slightly difficult to see from the road. As I walked in I was greeted by Seth. There was beautiful music playing in the background. I asked him what was the best seller he mentioned the Banana Chocolate Chip Bread which is offered year round and the Lemon Bars which are seasonal option.I chose the 20oz House Blend Coffee☕.The Coffee and Banana Chocolate Chip Bread were phenomenal!The station Mocha Nut Mornings is the music station and you can find it on Spotify.I highly recommend everyone to not only visit this Coffee Shop. I also encourage everyone to dine in and relax for a few minutes.They are open 6-5 on Fridays & 7-5 every other day except for SUNDAY.

I pass two local coffee shops and drive an additional 15 minutes once a week to enjoy a latte and get some work done. When you enter, there is excitement in the atmosphere and people are happy you arrived. The baristas always welcome me with a smile, know my name, and show interest in what brings me in. Oh, and the coffee is incredible!

Both my husband and I have always loved the mocha nut! Not only is it the coziest little coffee shop to go set up your laptop and work, but the staff is the friendliest. I left this morning feeling like makayla was one of my best friends, she is so personable and kind. (I should also mention my latte was delicious.) I would recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for the perfect “chill place.”

An excellent coffee shop. I had a good experience on my first visit. I ordered Espresso. This seems like a simple drink, but it is complex. The espresso had a thick but smooth feeling as I drink it. A good flavor; not bitter. I think espresso takes four key characteristics . . . good water, good coffee, good brewing and a talented barista. Well done. I can imagine all of their items are good based on the cup of espresso I was served. It was probably the best presentation of espresso Ive had or seen.The facility is comfortable with plenty of seating. The environment was relaxing. The rest rooms were very clean. I enjoyed having a short conversation with one of the owners. I was surprised when she told me they have only been open for 3 weeks. The pleasant staff, the beautiful facility, the quality of product, and a larger number of people in the shop would have lead me to believe they have been open for a long time.

Coffee is good! Glad to have something local besides a St*rbucks. Will say, either the owner/manager was walking around talking to people without a mask on inside, and not a single patron was wearing one when I went in. The people making the coffee always have one on, but the seemingly lax policy makes me a bit uneasy. Coffee is easily a 4/5, but gotta knock a star off for the lack of safety.

Ive been here a few times great coffee, great people, clean, and local! Recently Picked up some coffee for catering needs. Called the morning of, and they helped me out by having (3) of their 96oz coffees ready within 2 hours. Great service!

Excellent coffee, and they offer oat milk which tastes great in the latte. The atmosphere is great for studying or enjoying a casual conservation with a friend. Ample seating is usually available, and parking is free with a parking lot that surrounds the building. I have not tried the pastries, but friends have said they taste great. Along with the excellent coffee, the service is incredible, as they offer to heat-up your coffee, refill it, and even refill your water bottle while you are seated. That is hard to find at any other coffee shop. Best coffee shop on the south side of Indy by far.

Honestly I come here almost every other morning I work close by and I’ve never had an incorrect drink nor order. The service is always friendly and polite and they go out of their way to converse. The speed is astonishing I know it’s just a drink but try going to another shop nearby. I highly recommend Mocha Nut, the lavender iced latte is amazing!

Oh my goodness...Simply put: I finally found GREAT local coffee in Southport! Ive ditched the chain coffee because everything is overly sweet, but Mocha Nut has a great balance. Also, the price and quality of this coffee is amazing and they offer a lot of customization options. Youve gotta try this place and I echo the person below me: SUPPORT LOCAL!

I love the industrial look on the inside! Brickhouse coffee in Greenwood had that same feel before it closed and ive been looking for another place with that type of interior for a while. They also have a really good house coffee! This may be my new local staple!

But we love Mocha Nut and the wonderful people there so much that we go out of our way to spend the money and drive the extra couple of minutes to get delicious coffee and amazing customer service. I love this place. It set back from the road and its got a peaceful relaxed feel to it. I love there iced angelic apricot tea and a snickerdoodle. Perfect little getaway.

My husband and I were going shopping and needed a coffee stop. Our GPS brought up this shop and Im so glad it did! I had the Cafe Miel drink and it is perfection. ♥️ Espresso, steamed milk, ground cinnamon, and a Graham cracker taste....not too sweet, just right. Nice decor and calm atmosphere! I picked this place because of all the positive reviews here but I was extremely disappointed when I tried it. Below average quality. I had the pumpkin spice latte that tasted like milk mixed with pumpkin spice, you couldnt taste the espresso at all. Same with the caramel macchiato, milk mixed with caramel, no espresso. All beverages were luke warm. Extremely limited selection of baked goods.

Not from Indy, visiting for a day or two so i decided to find a local coffee shop. Found The Mocha Nut. Fantastic coffee, great staff that was working too. Clean and cozy feeling.

Since moving to Indiana, my biggest coffee gripe has been the lack of independent, good coffee shops. Mocha Nut is great! Owned by a very friendly bunch of folks, they bring a well cultivated selection of roasts and beverages, without the unwelcoming pretension. Having only recently come to know about this place, theyve made a regular anytime Im in Southport!

Love this place! The atmosphere is super cute and inviting. I love the fact that all the drinks in store are served in real glasses and mugs. The only being I wish there were would be not plastic straws and maybe some real options for like breakfast or food healthier than cookies and a better way to see what flavors they offer. Definitely worth the experience!

Great service and delicious tea.

The coffee is fine. Im not sure the older employees understand how masks are meant to be used. This person delivered a curbside order to the vehicle next to me. She came out with her nose and upper mouth uncovered, them proceeded to pull the mask down further to chat with the customer. Dont come here if you have any sort of immunological issues that make you high risk while this pandemic is going on.

One of the best coffee shop experiences I have ever had. I was in town while travelling for work and The Mocha Nut was the perfect place to work. Plenty of space, great tables, wonderful staff, and IT WAS IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Sanitizer was available and masks were required when not seated, which made me feel safe even when the store was busy. In addition, the internet supported video chats with ease and was easy to access, the barista even turned the music down a notch for me when I asked. If I could give more than Five Stars I would. Highly Recommend a Visit. Oh and all three different coffee items I ordered were DELICIOUS!

My first visit as a lifelong resident on the south side. When I left I said to myself this place has to goals 1. Keep it clean 2. Provide good (great) coffee. Great environment also and I will be going back soon.

The coffee here is great and the price is comparable to some other major coffee chains, so personally I would much rather support a small business like this one!
