Glass block expert! Good people! Fair price. Did basement windows in my Bellaire home and they still look new after a couple years past already.

Awesome contract work all around! A++!!!I had several house projects I wanted to get done, so I could get the house ready to sell, and have had terrible experiences with contractors the past couple years (charging way too much for real shotty work). Lyon Glass was able to knock out most of these, and the quality is incredible. Ive attached pictures below (sorry for the bad pic quality when uploading), but they were able to:* Level subfloor and install new flooring on the main level* Add fireplace shiplap (mantle in progress)* Demo and add new sidewalk* Paint exterior of the homeAnd all of this was done at a good price, and pretty quick (for the amount of work that had to be done). Couldnt recommend them more! If youve been getting burnt by contractors with high prices and subpar work, definitely look into hiring Lyon Glass!

I hired Lyon Glass Block, Inc to come and replace a horizontal sash window on the lower lever of our home with a glass block with dryer vent. Communication was great, price was reasonable and the service was excellent. The owner Nick answered his phone on a Sunday morning when I called to leave a message for someone to call me when they opened up next. He came out the following week to measure and today was the install day. Window looks great! They made very little mess with the install and cleaned up what little they made before they left. Highly recommend!

I can not recommend these guys enough. They came out for an assessment and gave me a very competitive quote. I found them through recommendations of a few friends. When he came out, he seemed very knowledgeable and no nonsense at all. I am quite handy myself and have been burned by many contractors, I am a very tough critic. One of the things that really stood out to me is he sticks to his word, shows up at the time he says he will (BIG deal if you work everyday), and completes the job with high pride of his work. His team was reliable, professional, and accommodating. They went the extra mile to provide finishing touches like cleaning the window, touching up scratches on the well, answering all of my obnoxious questions throughout the process, and relocating the dirt to my new raised flower beds. Seriously, do yourself a favor and hire these guys. I hardly ever provide a favorable review and I can’t sing their praises enough!!! You will not regret hiring them!

I highly recommend Lyon Glass Block. Nick and his team have been an integral part in keeping our 70 year old basement dry. They replaced all of our basement windows and window wells; we are now able to enjoy our basement, and have since remodeled it with confidence. You wont be disappointed if you hire them for your project, plus, you are supporting a local business and family.

Competitively priced, great communication, very prompt, and the crew did a great job of installing new windows and repairing an aging one. Ive done this work when I was younger, and I was very happy to have a pro do it right. Great experience all around.

Nick and his crew completed an egress window job for me, and they were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough down to the smallest detail. They were extremely competitive based on other estimates, and the final product looks amazing. You can tell watching them work that they take a lot of pride in what they do, and it shows. Highly recommended!

What can I say? Words would just fall short to describe the wonderful experience I had with Lyon Glass Block. The owner Nick came out for the estimate. He was a bit early (awesome), extremely professional and knowledgeable. He even removed his shoes before entering my home. After accepting the estimate I had a guy (Terry) out to my house for the installation within 2 days (I understand turnaround time is usually a bit longer I got lucky they had an opening so soon). His professionalism was on par with Nicks. The install took just over an hour and it looks seamless. I have very high standards and Lyon exceeded them all and them some. I would definitely recommend them. There is no way I would even entertain the idea of using another company for this kind of work. If more businesses had the professionalism and attention to detail that Lyon has the world would be a much better place. Just a fantastic job. I wish I could give this a 6 star rating instead of the 5 because this company stands far above their competitors.

The owner Nick came out for a free estimate on our 20 year old basement windows. He gave us 3 options to choose for replacement, all of which were great options to protect from rain and would look good in our room. We are very happy with our new windows, the prices were fair they look great! They showed up on time and finished early. We couldnt ask for a better experience. We will be using them again.

Lyon Glass Block installed my new basement windows in 2007. The windows have been going strong for 5 years with no problems at all. The basement windows are silicone joint windows which I LOVE because of love maintenance. I did have him back later to install one in my bathroom / shower area and it is beautiful. He also installed one in my garage. I referred him to my mother during her new construction in 2008. He installed 5 windows including a transom by front door. A++++ in my books!
