This place was great! We enjoyed the experience! I had the James Brownie Sundae (with the cookie dough and some other salted caramel ice cream) and it was delicious! The employees were fun to talk with and we had a nice time.Give this place a try if you are in the North East Indianapolis area.

This place was a surprise to me, I really enjoyed the ice cream and the environment. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve started to see more places have boba tea or bubbles and this place has executed well! I especially loved the reproductions of paintings in the seating area. Great little touches to the make the environment quirky!

Never should you come to a place like this without having a wild imagination. I mean there are tons of icecream flavors to choose from. I like the butter pecan its wroth walking around the block standing in line 2x lol. We always have fun and I actually help them open them using my concrete business. How nice to help you local business.

Based on other reviews, I wanted to like this more than I did. Wyliepalooza has potential but seems to be having an identity crisis.Looking back at older photos, the atmosphere looked brighter and more welcoming/inviting than what it is today. For me, the previous photo with the yellow walls and blue floors set the right tone for an anime and ice cream shop - bright, fun, inviting, and creative. What I walked into felt like an old dingy shop that sells used video games/comics and happened to have a small corner carved out for ice cream.As far as the ice cream goes, I had butter pecan and green tea - they do allow you to try before you buy. The butter pecan was delightful - creamy, buttery, and a good amount of pecans.I made the mistake of ordering the green tea without sampling it - this was because of an article I read raving about their green tea ice cream. Ive had good green tea/matcha flavored ice cream before and had arrived with an expectation on flavor - a slightly sweet, more green veg. forward flavor. While it wasnt overly sweet, there wasnt much flavor...which is probably evident from how pale the green is for this ice cream.I think if I were to go back, Id try out the location in Broadripple location next and some different flavors.

Been here twice. Both times were good, my bf ordered this drink that was god awful, but Im not into coffee like him! Still, fun visit.

We recently used the Wylie Truck as the dessert for our wedding reception. Jared was super adaptable when it rained out. Our guests commented on how great the ice cream was all night and into the next week. It is super affordable and definitely one of the highlights of our wedding!

Fun place with lots of great ice cream options. That being said, depending on when you go they might not have the flavor you want as the rotate their selection. Great people who work there too. Plus, if you dig anime they have a fun selection of items you can purchase.

I love the number of choices and toppings available at this ice cream parlor! I had the James brownie, two scoops and fudge with brownie pieces. The flavors old fashioned vanilla and brownie cascade were both rich and delicious. I wasnt able to finish. I will be back for another James brownie for sure.

I took my 4 girls out for a sweet treat so we could have some mom and daughter time. My girls love the shop and the ice cream. Service was great! The ice cream varieties seemed like they had went down from the last time I have been in there. The ice cream was very good on the sugar cone that we had,but the room was filled with so much other products to sell that they really cut down on any room to sit and enjoy your ice cream.

Wyliepaloozas ice cream is always unique and yummy flavors with even better names. Their options also include Halo halo and bubble tea and it is definitely inspired the various animes. The place itself is a part of Irvingtons Character in the neighborhood.

Hadnt been here before. Aunt took me for my birthday. Ice cream was awesome. Fans of anime will like this place as there is anime items everywhere.

I had found this ice cream shop in 2019. Was so excited to get something other than Dairy Queen. The ice cream is fabulous although it could be a hit or miss for some since selection is limited and flavors may not be what you were hoping for. I get the same flavor that is a regular so no worries for me. The reason for only 3 stars is that every time you walk into this shop is reeks of Pine-Sol! Who really has a taste for ice cream when all you smell is some sort of very heavy chemical in the store. It is quite overpowering. When you read their back story the place sounds so quaint and inviting. When you enter it is not quaint or inviting whatsoever. Not sure of the vibe they were going for but the place is dingy and this remodel of sorts makes it look even more drab and dirty even though it smells of disinfectant. I order a waffle cone and usually get 1 scoop because it is so large. This most recent time I had to get 2 scoops because the one scoop barely filled the cone. Not sure if there is training on how to fill a cone but if so I think a little retraining may be in order. I will return as I enjoy the ice cream but if you are looking for a quaint or even trendy ice cream shop this is not it.

The ice cream was great and delicious. There are a variety of ice cream flavors and drinks, like Bubble tea. They also have anime merchandise for popular anime shows, like Madoka Magica. The anime stuff can be anything from figurines, metal art panels, clothes, ect.This is an anime and ice cream fanatics dream establishment.

Awesome place. Good boba and ice cream. Very patient owner. The white girl that asked the owner if she thought all Asians are the same wouldve been tossed if it was me but thankfully it was the very calm owner. Stop trying so hard to be offended especially where its not needed.

The ice cream is good, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. Not only do the staff act as if customers are an inconvenience, they just hang around. There were more staff than customers. After buying three ice creams, candy, and a toy, and remaining in the shop for thirty minutes, one staff member accused an 8 year old with stealing the candy. Finally other staff spoke up to say they saw her pay for the candy, but we never received an apology from the accuser. The rudeness could be overlooked if that wasnt the normal tone every time we go in.

Ive been going to Wylie for about 3 years now and they always have the most delicious ice cream in town! Flavors vary and the atmosphere in side the shop is fun and energetic. Employees are local high school kids, and its great to see local businesses partnering to grow the community.

Cute little ice cream shop with delicious homemade & often unique flavor selection. I had the Butter Beer which gave off Willy Wonka vibes for days & tasted amazing. Like a liqoud butterescotch candy. Got the soy made ice cream for my lactose intolerant yet favorite son & we both agreed we thought it was pretty good. You can tell its it non-dairy but they nailed it with the texture & consistency.

Nice ice cream shop in Irvington. My family enjoys the rotating ice cream selection and the anime stuff. However, each visit we have felt rushed to order and the staff is not that friendly in my opinion. I made a little comment to the girl ringing us up about the Japanese snacks and how excited we were and she completely brushed me off -- seemed rude and unpleasant for a counter girl. Definitely did not feel valued as a customer for patronizing this business. Parking is in the back of the building.

Very unique experience especially for my granddaughter who is a fan of anime. She was disappointed that her favorite series was not represented, but she loved the soda that they made for her. I had a strawberry shake that was very thick and delicious.

Love the wild variety of flavors and the new updates shop, a place my kids beg to go to very regularly and I don’t mind. We buy the pints they have in the freezer as well as getting something to enjoy immediately because we just can’t help it!!

This is such a neat place. Cool vibe and decor, tasty ice cream and boba drinks, kids play area and friendly staff. People really seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves.

Excellent icecream, and prices are far cheaper than sub zero.Facility has a small play area for Tikes, and there is plenty of parking on the back side of building.Be sure to pay this place a visit. Comforted in Historic Irvington.

Due to living in a state that doesnt have many anime or Boba tea shops its always nice to see one. This was a nice little shop with a little collection of anime and Japanese related products and the items were not that expensive now as for the ice cream or Boba I cant say due to the fact I didnt try them. I certainly plan on coming back to try them sometime though

Irvington local here. Used to be a 5 star experience; but staffing quality has dramatically decreased. Last 3 times we went in, it was like pulling teeth to get assistance. There should never be 3 employees goofing off not doing anything with a line full of customers. These 3 times with issues were all post-remodel. In our near weekly visits before remodel/rebrand we never had issues. It was like they flipped a switch and not in a good way.This has made us quite hesitant to return.

The butter beer tastes amazing on a warm summer day! My daughter loves the boba tea and my wife loves going to Wylie for the ice cream. Im glad I live so close and cant wait to see the place since its remodel.

Worst attitude from one of the employees at this location! Very impolite and unprofessional. We didnt stay long enough to order anything after our encounter due to the big and tall long haired guy that was extremely rude, so unable to say how the ice cream actually is.My family and I were all wearing our masks, and I was told to pull my mask over my nose, to which I am unable to due to health reasons. The rude employee was not wearing his mask properly to even direct me to do so... Even if I were able to cover my nose.

Wow. I fell in love with this place quickly. The ice cream here is fantastic. They have many flavors, and I love their unique creations. (I just had raspberry cheesecake oreo tonight! Yum.) They rotate flavors, when one runs out, they dont replace it right away with the same flavor. The staff is super friendly as well.

The staff are super cool and relaxed! The ice cream is bomb as hell, too. They got all the fixins you could ask for! Plus, theres all kinds of asian snacks and anime merch. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth the hour drive!

We arrived right before closing, and the staff were still willing to serve us. They were friendly and kind, gave us lots of samples. Had many delicious flavors of ice cream, as well as bubble tea and milkshakes! Great atmosphere, definitely a fun vibe. They have longer hours and are open until 8:30, which is a great spot for some after-dinner dessert! Would recommend trying.

They denied taking emotional support animals in. Which is one of the only ways to keep me calm and from flipping out on people they told me and everyone I was with to leave because of the emotional support dog which is legal to take into a store with the paper from the doctor saying that you need one.

Delicious, every single time. My favorite is the rhubarb cheesecake. The flavors rotate often, so it is always a surprise which of the flavors will be available on a given day. They have over 20 flavors to choose from.
