It says online that they are open but they are closed to the public . do not take your scrap here

Drive 35 minutes to scrap metel only to find out they close at 4. Google says 5. When I ask what the deal is lady says door says 4 we cant change it on Google.If you know how to use the app on Google then you most certainly can change it. Instead you wasted an hour of 2 peoples time an about 6 gallons of diesel because you cant operate properly.Last time I go there

Very nice employees. Lines are usually okay. They could definitely pay a little more but other than that theyre great.

I recommend this place to anyone.The women in the office were very helpful and friendly.They took the time to tell me how to get the most out of my scrap. How much each metal paid, and they didnt seem to mind my endless questions.When I took my truck across the scales, and that big red headed dude got outta the big machine, looking like he wanted to rip the juggler vein out of Bigfoot. Scared the bejesus outta me.Totally different outcome.Friendly as all get out. Great guy, for real.He even helped me unload my truck. Showed me some copper and aluminum I was scrapping as sheet metal, that I couldve taken in and sold for a higher price.I will take my business to Westside auto salvage from now on. And I highly recommend this place to anyone .

Gave us a range of $175-$275 for our car over the phone. When they came to pick it up they only offered $100. Very disappointing. Be aware!

The best scrap yard in Indy for sure. Employees are VERY nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!! Cant beat a family owned and operated business like this.

They told me to take my business somewhere else simply cause I was trying to understand how they work u can take radiators and evap coil big a/c coil but u take a air charge cooler and they said u need buissness Id but crack heads could cut one up and get paid but a honest guy doing honest things cant cash it in with out a big mess crazy

They always treat me right and they like to joke some other places dont even like to talk while you are there at west side they treat you like you would want to be treated . just dont get on there bad side.

I cant speak much for day to day operations, but the Westside staff is great! And their free pizza Friday for customers is very cool!
