Great work overall. But could use a bit of work with communication. The service advisor was great in resolving all issues I had. And the mechanics did a great job fixing a tick in my engine. Had my car back and healthier than ever in about a week. Will definitely consider coming back for future repairs.

Best honest mechanics in town! They dont upsell or overcharge for their services. Everyone at G & J is knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly.They text or call with updates, deal with warranty companies directly, and are quicker than South Bay BMV/Mini. My car is running great again and they were effective in solving the problem.

I use this auto service shop strictly based on the companys referral whom I purchased my vehicle from, Carmaxs referral. This company doesnt include changing the filters with the oil change and my oil light is already flickering on and Im not due for another oil change until the end of March 2021. Its still February. On top of the bad oil change this company did, my AC started making noise as soon as I drove off that auto companys lot. I never had AC issues prior to my visit to this shop.

When to change a oxygen sensor they charge me 30$ bucks very reasonable price

I needed to get my front brake pads replaced and the dealership wanted to charge me $370!!! I found this placed based on other reviews and took my chances, and Im very glad I did. I spoke with George over the phone once and my partner spoke with him twice before taking my car in for service. He was very nice and professional and reassuring, and in the end my brakes cost $160, AND i got my one burnt out headlight replaced. Its only been a few days since the service but so far so good. Im very happy and will be going to this place more often once my car warranty expires.

They do work on your car and once you get it back something else has damage cuz they causing that problem so you can keep on spending money no good no good work thumbs down. They fix my gas filter and I never had a leak before that soon as they got done my power steering just are overflowing real bad they call that to happen so I can go back and spend 300 something dollars on a power steering fluid for pump for whatever I need it for no good.

Affordable prices. Nice mechanic with a wide variety of repairs and maintenance. They provide a 50 point inspection and advice along with a simple oil change. They do parts replacement and oil change with the parts and consumables provided by the customer, unlike many other chain maintenance shops, which try to sell the oil with double market price.

Most amazing service I have had from a mechanic. A larger company tried to scam, so I called J&G auto repair. They had it towed to the store the day I called. They charged me a third of the price of the first place. Extremely patient, caring and concerned. I had some pretty extreme fixes, and they had it done within 48. As a young woman going into an auto repair shop alone, this shop is extremely valuable and highly recommended. My car hasn’t run this well in a while,

Really glad I found this place. Jorge really took the time to figure out why the ac in my car wasnt working. They even went ahead and fixed some minor issues at no cost. Truly trust worthy mechanics here and top quality service. Its a pain looking for a good mechanic but after going through so many this one consistently had fair estimates compared to the others I went to.

My wife and I have taken our cars to G and J for the last year and all the repairs, and upgrades they have done have been excellent! Aside from our regular maintenance service, I have replaced my rear brakes, rear brake discs, gear box, and track bar with G and J and I have experienced no issues. Gerry the lead mechanic gets to the root of the problem and does not try to sell you on work that your car/truck does not need, and because of this, I have saved a lot of money in comparison to what I would have paid at the dealership.

I made a trip down to LA. And my water pump went out on me. I asked several places giving me quotes of $900+. I didnt bring that kind of money and i had to be back in the bay area that day. I called G and J auto repair and they said no problem did the repair for less then half of what others were charging and had my car ready by 6:30pm that day. Drove 5 1/2 hrs home the car is running great! Thank you so much! Id recommend them to anyone.

Whatever you do, DO NOT give your HARD EARNED MONEY to these people. They will LIE and CHEAT and MANIPULATE you to cover for their INCOMPETENCE!!1) I payed for an expensive repair (which came with a one year warranty)2) I had to revisit countless times for them to fix small mistakes and conveniently they were never able to fix the whole problem, always stringing me along.3) Each time I visited I lost wages since it is the only car I use.4) I never received any sincere apology for any of it. The manager was very indifferent.5) At this point, I am pursuing legal recourse.What Ive learned: if you are unlucky enough to end up under warranty with a shop that demonstrates all-around poor business practices, the warranty loses all its worth.Bottom Line, if you want good professional service, look elsewhere. Trust me, its not worth it.
