This place is adorableI love the American diner aesthetic, and for such a small place they pack in a lot of character,, right down to the classic radio they play in the front of the house.The food was delicious, though some things were over seasoned, some under seasoned, but some things were seasoned well. The biscuits and gravy were perfect. But the eggs Benedict could use a little more salt in my opinion.All in all I had an amazing time here and think it is a great little breakfast date, or family time spot.
We have dined here on two occasions. The service is fast and food is great! We even got to meet the owner which is rare for an establishment. I raved about the breakfast on Facebook. It is a great place to bring your family. I see so many little ones enjoying food. We will keep this place open. I wish you were open for dinner. I do want to point out that the desert and food options are huge. If there is away to get a lighter menu that would be great! You gotta come here on an empty stomach. We had the cinnamon roll and it is enough to feed a family of 4. Hopefully they can change this to a smaller portion.

Its a Mom Pop type of place. These type of places have a special place in my culinary expeditions. So how was this one?... it was clean, service was not to die for but adequate. We had breakfast there, The food was ok, I can understand bland, but the country steak tasted like it was breaded to death. Sourdough bread was pretty much white bread as you can see in the pic. When asked, that is the sourdough.. Surprise!!!! Even the coffee was better at the vet that we visited before. So generally speaking, food was not great. And specially for the price, I read some previous reviews and I agree. The prices are high for mediocre food and service. I dont mind paying higher prices but one has to get similar returns.I dont mean to put em down, they definitely have what it takes. Its simple really, we go to the Mom and Pops to get their hardy breakfast that have element of home cooked meal, greasy guilty pleasures that we miss from older times, dark strong roasted coffee that we admire so much, and cant forget the Mom Pop hospitality that we have come expect from these places. So, they do need to dig a bit deeper, and the potential is there. But as of this writing they do have a bit to go.
We looked for a breakfast place and just happened upon this little gem. We ordered the Cajun Breakfast and it was one of the best breakfasts weve ever had. Everything was fantastic. We will be back!

Ordered for pick up and I got the food, I didnt have to wait on it. Once I got back home and opened up the food, the hashbrowns were extremely greasy and undercooked and were rather plain. The 3 pieces of bacon I got were burnt and sriveled up so it was more like 2 bites rather than 3 pieces. The pancakes looked great but didnt come with syrup and butter so in the end they were pretty tasteless too. Ive given this place too many chances. Would never recommend this place to anyone ever unless the cute diner aspect of the place is what your looking for.
Im guessing they are having a hard time finding decent kitchen staff. I ordered breakfast to go, and only the kids pancake came out okay. My Cajun breakfast had overcooked eggs, no hollandaise sauce and no Cajun seasoning. My wifes eggs Benedict had my Cajun seasoning and no hollandaise with overcooked eggs. The experience was really disappointing. I dont think Ill be coming back for the foreseeable future.

We were looking for a neighborhood breakfast diner and followed our app to Zes. We were very pleased with the food options, serving sizes, presentation, taste and pricing.The establishment was very well-run with the quarterback of the operation--I suspect he is Ze--keeping a watchfull eye to ensure everyone is being taken care of in a timely and friendly manner.This was pretty much everything we were hoping forvin q local diner. We will be back!

Best breakfast in IGH. Usually busy in the mornings, but dont let that worry you. If you want a simple breakfast, that will be great, they have you covered. But, incredible special dishes and combinations. Fast service, friendly, and they keep your coffee cup full. Super satisfying and very filling breakfast with all the fixings. Awesome homemade jelly for your toast! Never had a bad experience here. Our table ordered eggs three different ways, and they were all perfect. Also great lunches and diner style dinners.

Both the food and soda I ordered had little flavor, which combined with high pricing, the value for my money was disappointing for my first visit.The dining room is crammed with seats so close to eachother, you are within arms reach of the next table almost wherever you sit, not a comfortable atmosphere unless you like packing into a tiny diner.Expect to park at Aldis and walk over as their parking lot is tiny, half of it was blocked off by snow drifts when it hasnt snowed in a week, almost every part of this visit was disappointing.3 stars cause the server was very nice, but overall it was inconvenient / uncomfortable / expensive. I wont be returning.

Great place for lunch. This restaurant has interesting old style decor. Had lunch here a couple of times within the last six months or so. The staff is friendly and the food is quite good. The overall visit was good. I would compare this to a cafe type experience where the food will be delivered to you quite fast.

Eaten there twice. Good food- large portions. Hardly ever open on workdays though and they send out coupons for workdays only. Why? How many of us get off work before the place closes in early afternoon?UPDATE- Owner wants me to call to discuss. How? They are never open. Why doesnt the owner just change the coupon BS and stop making them valid only during workweeks?

Horrible service, staff is dirty the cook was cooking and playing with stuff in his mouth as he was touching other people food. Didnt even ask if we wanted more coffee. Just all in general overall nasty never again going to eat there...
