Horrible. I live in IGH (over 10 years now). This cub has to be the worst Cub ever. They are constantly out of things. Dont plan a trip here you can Ill just end up wasting your time. Also, why so expensive cub????? Worthless.

Nice grocery store. Friendly staff. I love their options for meat for the grill. My kids love going to get their donuts and relaxing in their upstairs lounge. Nice for people that are working on their computers or studying.

$5.70 for a pound of “run of the mill” 75% lean ground beef?No thanks.Fresh Thyme has organic ground beef for $2.99 a pound.. what a rip off.Everything at Cub is extremely overpriced.Very disappointed.I suggest looking at other ads for different stores to price compare to see the big difference in pricing.

They are super professional, and the store is very clean and organized. I also love the selection of deli meals when youre short on time or energy. Definitely my go to grocery stop in the uptown area.

Do not buy potatoes here, unless you intend to peel them! I bought Little Potato Company potatoes here last week and they are extremely bitter, indicating high solanine levels. The potatoes did not have a greenish appearance in my opinion.Solanine (a poison) levels increase when a potato is damaged or exposed to UV light. I am wondering if the lighting they are using contains blue or UV spectrum.After eating them for one meal, I thought I would try again, in case it was just a single potato. I measured 70g of potatoes (they were scrubbed, eyes & blemishes removed, then boiled).Still that strong bitter taste, with a bitter/sour/burning taste/feeling in the back of the mouth. The aftertaste was still present 20 minutes later, as well as nausea. Nausea lasted about an hour.Other than the potatoes, this is a lovely store :-)

Went in for roses and they were the best roses I have seen in a long time!

A middle aged, gray haired lady working popcorn totally ignored me as I waited at the hot case, while all the other deli workers were running around waiting on customers. She wouldn’t help me and basically didnt acknowledge my existence.

Easy to get in and out with almost all the food youre looking for. Good deli and seafood sections. When I was in the area, this was my grocery store of choice.

Cub is not my usual store to shop at because their prices are somewhat higher than where I usually shop. But stopped in for couple of specials yesterday and found some items that were priced very reasonably.(Store On Cahill, IGH.) was very clean and nice to shop at.

That is big as other cars but they have the right stuff

Always fresh & well presented food. Cheerful, friendly employees will to. help if needed. This Cub is 24hrs & has a TCF Branch office. Complete with fresh deli, on site bakery, fresh produce & Pharmacy. Best of all theyre Service Dog Friendly!

The remodel was much needed and coming along nicely. It makes it easier to shop in a store when its obvious that the company cares about it. The self service checkouts were much needed to keep lines shorter and allow people with a few items to checkout quickly.

We ordered 3 salads, a vegetable tray, chicken and 2 birthday cakes. Everything tasted amazing and the service was AMAZING!!!!Thank you to the gal in the deli department because she did an AWESOME job. Made our party so enjoyable! No cooking and our guests loved the food!!

I used to work at this location. One day I brought my girlfriend at the time shopping here. An employee in the bakery named Ida complimented my girlfriend by saying youre pretty then she turned to me and said youre not then she laughed at my expense. I found this comment extremely rude and insulting.When we went to the cash register, the cashier named Denise said to my girlfriend, and I quote this guy can be a real brat sometimes. You should find someone better.Irregardless of whether or not these individuals think they know me personally (which they do not) there is no excuse for speaking to a paying customer like that. If these two are still working here, I would demand that some form of disciplinary action be taken against both of them.I will never set foot inside Cub Foods Inver Grove ever again. I want nothing to do with anyone that would flagrantly belittle me so harshly. Ida and Denise should be fired. Furthermore, their abusive comments was what caused me to break up with my girlfriend, because apparently she was in agreement with both of them. If any of the individuals mentioned in this review were to attempt to speak to me ever again, then I would file a restraining order against them.

Perfectly acceptable experience whenever I shop here. Has all the essentials and most everything is reasonably priced. That said, the store is a bit dated and checkout can be long at times. If you need a quick place to shop, this Cub will do an adequate job.

This cub foods is very conveniently located. Within 1 1/2 miles of my home. I have shopped here since it opened. I’m done now. The produce is generally old. I bought fresh green beans that I went to fix 3 days after purchasing and they were all brown and rotten. Same with the last cucumber. Even a bag of potato’s I find several are bad. The bananas aren’t rotten though, they’re so green you can’t eat them for 5 days. The carrots are growing roots inside the bags, that’s a sign that they’re old. Get with it cub, your prices have skyrocketed, your fresh food is anything but fresh. If you want to price your things like Byerlys then you might think about offering your customer the same quality of food and fresh produce. I guess convenience is over rated. I’m done with your rotten produce and ridiculously high prices!!!

Cub is always hit or miss, the frustrating thing is they have a bunch of kids (usually) trying to stock shelves during the stores busiest times clogging aisles and blocking access to shelves. Their hot food buffet is really good, great chicken and their Deviled egg potato salad is the BEST!!

Very disappointed! Bought BBQ ribs and watermelon here. They both were absolutely terrible. Ribs just all around tasted nasty. Watermelon had no flavor at all!!

Currently going through upgrades? Im going to wait until theyre finished before trying it out again. Empty shelves and not an English muffin in the entire place? Dimmed down freezer isles. Depressing stuff. Been shopping there for years, and its always been sub-par. Only grocery Ive ever been to that sold me rotten fruit and vegetables. They were always okay about exchanges, after a few calls and emails. But after getting rotten navel oranges, Im out for awhile. The sixth time Ive been burned on produce. Ive been to other Cub locations that are much better. Its convenient if you live in IGH, but thats really the only reason to ever shop here.

Store is clean and open 24/7 (closed some holiday hours), employees very helpful in navigating the store for an item, registers move pretty quickly even when busy.Store is secured overnight, never felt uncomfortable late night, and nice to avoid busy hours.

I live in Brooklyn Park so this isnt my home cub. However I was in the area for a pickle party my friend was throwing and I was in charge of supplying the pickles. I go in the cubs and I buy 10 jars of pickles. One of the workers asked if I wanted help bringing them to my car, but I declined thinking I could handle it. Well, long story short the entry way was filled with pickle juice and glass. I immediately started sobbing and felt like the dumbest person on earth for causing such a mess and wasting 30 dollars. Amanda, one of the managers immediately comforted me and told me everything thing was ok. She even offered a refund but I told her I couldnt accept as it been my fault. She kept on insisting and insisting and we were able to compromise. I was able to buy 10 more jars of Vlassic for half price.Thank you so much Amanda, and thank you to whoever cleaned up the pickle juice!

Veggies at this place are more expensive than at Whole Foods or Lunds. If youre vegan, do not waste your time here. They have a cheese aisle about the length of a football field, and the non-dairy section fits into one small fridge section with a pathetic selection that isnt even stocked. They had ONE container of Daiya and some Tofutti cream cheese. Come on, Cub. You can do better!

One of the few remaining union grocery stores left. As capitalisms race to the bottom intensifies Ill continue to shop where people are put before profit.

I was very disappointed with my daughters cake, even though it was delicious the decorating was atrocious. It didnt even look finished. Her name wasnt even on it. Very disappointed. Love the store but not the cake decorating.

I’ve given this store so many chances to redeem themselves but almost every time without fail they screw up. Make sure you check your foods expiration dates!! Time after time I find things that are already expired, almost every time I get any kind of lettuce, spinach, or a spring mix in the produce section it’s all whilted and smells like pond scum almost as if they forgot to refrigerate it at some point before it got to the shelf, also sometimes items don’t match the price on the shelf when the go to check out, they robbed me a few times doing that and didn’t notice until going through the receipt after I had already gotten home, shopping at other cub stores I’ve never had a problem but Inver Grove cub is somewhere that should be avoided, if it were possible I would give this cub zero starts out of five.

Selection of foods and products is not as well rounded as other stores. Checking out is very annoying. They never have enough cashiers to fit the need so you are guaranteed a 10 minute or longer wait to get through the check out lines. Cashiers also tend to be in bad moods which obviously enhances the negative experience. Store is also pretty dirty for a grocery store. Only reason I go here is its the only store in town.

IGH store is large enough to do your full grocery shopping, yet small enough if you just need a few items.

I move to IGH three months ago and still work in Bloomington. Have just been going to that cub because it is familiar to me. I had forgot a couple of things on Friday so I ran to this cub on Sunday. The man ahead of me in line was a employee of cub and had a nice friendly conversation in line. As he paid for his pepsi he told the cashier he wanted to pay for my things. What a delightful surprise. He was so nice. This will be my new cub store, Thanks to that employee.

Cub has gotten more expensive over time but you get nothing for it. They want to be a high end grocer like how Whole foods used to be, Lunds/Byerlys or Kowalskis . However they are not.Terrible produce selection that is nearly always missing something and the quality is poor at best.

Prices are usually high, even some of their sales are more spendy. Ok customer service. They always have flowers in the floral area. Better have a bunch of coupons or a cub card to get the price they show, you may get ripped off.

Its a CUB foods. It has everything, and the prices are not very good. That said at least it is very convenient.

Need to restock faster and more often. Shelves and produce are empty much to often.

Ive been to a lot of different Cub Stores. And Ive got to say, Inver Grove Heights Cub Foods store has got to be one of the worst ones out there. My experience with this store has gotten to the point where Id rather go to the one in West St Paul and Cottage Grove.Bad customer service.Amanda is a snobby little girl who loves to have it her way. Ive been in line or shopping around and I hear nothing but drama from her mouth. Shes said some pretty hurtful things to her employees and I personally think that as the CSM Assistant, she has no right to be shaming her employees, but instead, to teach them correctly.Denise is a very loud and rude woman. She doesnt seem to know how to tell customers when they are wrong in a calming and respectful matter.Jeff really needs to get his act together. He gets mad over the smallest things and the fits he throws are unbelievable. He acts like a child who got his favorite toy taken away. Ive seen him range out one time and all I wanted to do was laugh at him and put him in timeout.Twana I believe is the CSM Manager. Haha.I cant believe that little lady has all the power. She is the most fakest person I have ever encountered. She would talk sweet and stuff to others and then turn right around and talk nasty. Ive heard the way she talks to her associates, and just like her assistant, she doesnt understand how to manage. Personally as a customer, shes never been rude to me or another customer, but I would never want to be under her control if I ever worked for Cub. I feel bad for the cashiers.Russ, I believe is the store manager. OH MY GOD. He is the worst ever! I mean that, Ive spoken to a lot of managers and Ive got to say, Russ is the worst. He needs to go. I liked the store manager before him, Craig. Russ is rude, and always finds a way to kick his customers away to his assistant, Danny. I also see the way how to talks to his associates and I dont believe the way he talks to them. Its like their his bad dogs or something. Russ is lucky he has good associates to keep his store running. I hate seeing him when Im in the store. He doesnt like doing his job I can tell, I hope he leaves soon.Good customer service.Leslie is one of the most hard working people I see in this store. Shes fresh out of high school and busting her butt to control the entire front end during her shifts. I cant believe they even have people her age taking over like that. She is so cute and always sweet to her customers. I always get a smile and a hello from her.Marie is probably the sweetest one there. Oh my, she always can put a smile on my face. I love walking in and seeing her at the service desk. She always helps me when I need it and like like Leslie I always get a smile and a hello.Savannah is so cool. She can hold a conversation with anyone! I love talking with her when she asks me about my day. She is so sweet and can make friends so well. I never fail to smile around her.Angie is so far the best manager Ive encountered. I love speaking to her when I have a problem. I met her because Russ didnt feel like doing his job when I asked to speak to him. She was super professional, but chatty and she knows how to make her customers happy. I always see her working an helping out her associates along with her customers. Angie needs more recognition.Danny is a wonderful ASD. I can tell that he is also unappreciated by his associates. I feel so bad for this guy. Every time I see him, hes always swamped with customers and problems. Russ should really start doing his job.Dawn is the cutest lady and I honestly love seeing her in the mornings. She one is of my many favorites. I love her personality.Paul, Darin, Bill, and the entire Pharmacy crew is also part of why I still come to the store. They are such nice people

It seems that half the food I want to buy in this store is past the expiration date. Coconut water, pickled herring, some brands of yogurt, some meat, etc. If you shop here, check the date on everything.

Shopping invergrove hight mn cup food. The people working there very roud and disrespectful. If your different rice they will treat you bad. They dont even return your item. they charge me over the prices when I found out. I told them to return my money they side the can give me cup gift other ways I can not get my money. I been a cup food customers for many years different areas I never had problem. I moved invergrove recently. I went the invergrove hight cup food several times people there very roud and not nice.

I have shopped at this store since before it was even a Cub and I always liked it here as the customer service, pharmacy and cashiers are great people, but the store as a whole has REALLY fallen off.I cant remember the last time that I have gone here and was actually able to buy the coupon items as they NEVER seem to have the coupon items in stock anymore. ( And im not talking about the last few times I have been there, im talking about the fact that I seriously cant remember the last time that I have shopped there where I was able to buy even a few of the coupon items, its that bad.)Also, their selection has gotten so much smaller, so when a coupon item is out of stock, there isnt even another brand to substitute for it available half the time.Another complaint I have is that many times when I come to just pick up a prescription, there are selfish people using the pharmacy as a sort of express lane to pay for groceries as they dont want to wait in the regular lines, even though there is a line of people there who are obviously waiting to use the pharmacy counter for what its for, to pick up prescriptions! Now the pharmacy staff here is AMAZING and I know its not their fault as what are they going to do, tell these selfish people to please go to an actual check out line because prescription customers are waiting? But the store managers could have a sign placed there to make it clear that that counter is for prescription customers only. I have seen signs like that in other stores.Bottom line is that this store obviously has a SEVERE ordering issue as they can NEVER keep coupon items in stock so if you are going there, planing to purchase ANY coupon items, save yourself the trip and go to another store.
