This place is cute! I was very happy with my Iced Mocha with oat milk! But we were slightly disappointed with the coffee selections. We were looking for a flavored brew, not flavor shots or add ons. It was easy to find but Parking was a bit of an issue. It was on a Thursday morning when everyone is trying to get in and out fast cause they have to work. we were on vacation so our brains weren’t on function mode. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for a good late!

The staff were super friendly and helped me decide what to order. Ended up getting a decaf Carmel cloud latte with almond milk that was delicious! A great gem in Ipswich :) (there were some tables inside and outside and free wifi as well)

A tiny coffee place with a big personality! They serve coffee, tea, ice cream, and floats. Coffee was exquisite - got the caramel cloud latte. Ice cream was also pretty good. Cool atmosphere and great place to meet a friend.

Zumis definitely has a local feel that also happens to warm and inviting. Their iced latte was superb, with a rich coffee flavor perfectly balanced against the mixture of milk and ice. It was a little slice of heaven on a 100 degree day.

The coffee was some of the best Ive ever had! And thats saying a lot as Ive had coffee from all over the world. I had a vanilla latte, and my friend had a mocha, both were very smooth, no bitterness at all. The mocha was full of chocolaty deliciousness. I was in on a Sunday morning and there was live music, provided nice ambiance. If street parking is full theres parking in the back. The back entrance also has a great outdoor patio. They have merchandise, coffee beans, and coffee mugs all for sell in the shop. They also have ice cream that Ill need to make a return trip to try! Would highly recommend a visit!

Zumis is far more than just a local coffee spot, (this is going to sound Cheesy but its true) Zumis is perhaps the heart of the community and cultural hub of Ipswich, the owners are amazing and, do so much for the local community, but also the communities that they source their products from . They are very supportive of their customers and local artists . Oh and the coffee is the bomb!

I won’t be returning to this store.My daughter is newly graduated and moving to the area for her first job. I was visiting, helping her get settled.Apparently the store is popular as there was about a 15 minute wait to order in the late morning. I ordered a triple cappuccino mostly dry, foam w a splash of milk. The male barista man-splained to me that the foam and milk come together so you can separate them (what? Like you can’t scoop off the foam?!!). Okay I accepted that snd told him just to add a splash of milk. What I received was a standard cappuccino/- no attempt to reduce the amount of milk.

I visited here five times.It was a lovely cafe, but my last visit was terrible.I made a mistake with my order. After that, he did not give me straws, saying these plastic cups does not need them... I cannot understand it since they always have given me straws until my fourth visit.

Place is usually great but they have been sold out of baked goods the last two weeks and they are making rookie mistakes on coffee. Melt the sugar and honey before making the iced drinks.

The coffee is good. The syrups for espresso drinks are not very tasty; theyre too sugary/rich. Espresso quality is good though. They also serve ice cream. Cute ambiance inside. Right on the river, so you can stroll with your coffee/ice cream if you dont want to hang out there. Outlets available for laptops and theres WiFi. Parking is in back or on the street out front.

Very good latte

Flavorful coffee: no burnt taste. However, the minimum credit card charge is $5, which means I cannot go there for a quick cup of coffee! What is that? The rating applies only if you carry and can pay cash or can spend more than $5, otherwise, you are out of luck, which is a shame because it is a good place.

The only thing Ive had there is the cappuccino... But its the best cappuccino around! I regularly drive the 20 minutes to get there just for a cappuccino

Great local spot for world class coffee. Atmosphere is busy but baristas are great and get orders out quickly. They also have some nice fresh baked goods that are worth sampling.

Best coffee, very nice people, live music at times, supportive of schools and town causes, involved with fair trade, and a very nice, comfortable atmosphere. Only reason for 4 stars is that its too pricey to go there much. Great place and an asset to Ipswich! ♡

Coffee, pastries, tea, and ice cream all in a historic location! They do a good job. I find their espresso is best in a cappuccino or latte. When its in a Cortado or just a shot its bitter and a little stale. Pastries are awesome! Sitting at one of the tables enjoying some caffeine and watching people is awesome

Quintessential stop in Ipswich, if you want coffee and youre in town missing this place is a HUGE mistake. Not only do they offer coffee, but they also have ice cream, or why not both for a chocolatte frappe?! Live music sometimes and coffee merch with a lovely environment really makes this place a true Ipswich staple in the community.

If you are in downtown Ipswich and want a decent cup of coffee, there if no better place to go. I like zumis and would have rated them higher, but I recently paid over $7 for a quad mocha. Maybe Im out of touch but that seemed ridiculously expensive.

I have been going to Zumis almost every day almost since the beginning. Obviously I wouldnt be such a loyal customer if I didnt think very highly of this wonderful addition to downtown Ipswich. Not only are Zumis coffees, chai and pastries excellent, but the owners are very aware of environmental issues and very supportive of the arts on the North Shore. Umesh, Zillie and Babesh Bhuju care about a lot more than selling fair trade coffee, and that attitude sets Zumis apart from other coffee shops. A shout out to the baristas too. They are all excellent. I plan to go to Zumis tomorrow! Alison DAmario
