I thought I’d try it since it changed owners. Ordered a Turkey Gobbler. The previous owners made a great Gobbler. It was a hot Sunday so it was busy. No biggie. I walked to the wharf, watched the boats, then went back after the allotted time I was told it would take. I waited some more for the 1 sandwich I ordered. Other people were waiting, other customers were becoming agitated at how long it was taking. The owner was out back and we all could hear her talking. Honestly, what we were hearing was just inappropriate. I just wanted to get my food and leave. I heard her say “I can make a Gobbler in 2 minutes”. My sandwich came out shortly thereafter and I left. When I got home and opened it up I was amazed at what I saw. One 1/2 inch slice of cold turkey with some cold runny stuffing, some mayonnaise and barely any cranberry sauce. She certainly did ‘slap’ it together in a minute. I was not satisfied so I wrapped it up and took it back. $12 for that, no way.I walked into the store and handed the bag to the kid who was working the counter. I told him that I needed to return the sandwich that it was just horrible. The owner/cook happen to be right there. He told her that I wanted my money back for the sandwich. She asked what the problem was and I said that it was horrible. Her first response was, “did you eat it?” I was trying to answer her and she kept saying “ did you eat it?” over and over again, interrupting me. Finally I just looked at her pointed to the counter and said “there it is”. She opened it, had to ask the counter worker how much the sandwich cost (you would think the owner would know the prices of their sandwiches), proceeded to tell me that no one has ever returned a gobbler, opened up the register hastily and gave me $12 cash.As I left the store she said to me, “have a nice day sir” in a condescending way over and over like I had done something wrong. No sorry for the inconvenience or anything. I didn’t see the need to respond. After I got outside and started to walk away she came out a side door and continued to tell me to have a nice day. I eventually answered asking why did I need to respond. I thought it was very odd that she would follow me out another door. She obviously wanted a response from me. She proceeded to tell me that she was very busy, was backed up with 40 sandwich orders. I told her it wasn’t my problem, that she is running a business and should expect rushes from time to time. The end product should not be subpar just because there is a rush. I am not a sandwich shop owner but I would think following a customer out to continue to engage with them is not the right thing to do. Something didn’t work today at her shop, she should learn from it to improve her service and product. She should know how to appropriately respond to an unsatisfied customer, not badger them.I will not be going back. $12 sandwiches should be what you expect, what is advertised. Follow my lead, don’t be afraid to return something that is not worth what you paid for it.Rudest food establishment owner I’ve ever encountered!

Since this opened as the little river store the food served here has been out of this world delicious. Sandwiches are tasty. Fries are fresh and perfect. The bakery is unbelievable. This quality doesnt come cheap but it is worth every penny.Currently eating a piece of their maple bacon donut and its impossible to put down.

The absolute best place to grab a sandwich in the area! New ownership and they were so so so friendly! This place can usually be a little crazy sometimes but they can definitely handle it so well. I recommend the gobbler sandwich, it is so tasty and made with fresh roasted turkey (no deli!) Thank you so much Sandy! You made my whole day

I dont know where else to get a sandwich as good as here. They legit roast the meats in house. Best cheesy fries ever! I also took home pasta salad and it was divine.

They cant seem to keep regular hours- I tried to go four different times but they just closed up for no reason. Not an easy effort for a seasonal resident. Finally found them open only to be greeted by the surliest, rudest owner Ive ever encountered. The only thing worse than her attitude was unrisen doughnut dough i tried to chew, the underbaked croissant and most indigestible breakfast sandwich Ive ever had.My brother got a gobbler which used to be his favorite but this thing was GROSS. The old place made fantastic sandwiches, had warm, friendly staff and knew how to cook and bake. I miss the old place and old crew. And why the hell would you stop selling beer and wine?? Insane! If youre stuck going here do yourself a favor and call ahead so you can minimize your exposure to these toxic carnies.

Breakfast burrito was phenominal. Slight smokey flavor and a tasty spice. Fully renovated, good selection of typical convenience items at a price lower than than I would expect. Staff was super friendly and my order came up quick.

Based on my past positive experiences this is a review of the store on a really bad day. A Thursday, around 1PM, thinking Ive missed the brunt of the lunch crowd, I head in for two sandwiches. Immediately I could tell something was off. I never saw that many people waiting inside for their order since the new ownership took over. An unfamiliar, but friendly, face taking orders. Out of Tuna Salad, no big deal. But more than 30 confusing minutes later I finally get my two sandwiches to go, and a complimentary cookie for my troubles. I would have left it at that, called it a tough day and moved on but worse was still ahead. The most awful chicken parmesan sub Ive ever had. Burnt, overcooked and stringy chicken, cheese stuck to the foil and impossible to scrape off. Yikes. 3 stars because I know this had to be an unusually bad day due to understaffing or something. Im a disappointed fan and they need to have a better fallback plan in place for when people are out or whatever the issue was that day.

The breakfast burrito and cold brew coffee were decent. The BLT was like a Fyre Fest sandwich. Yikes!
