Highly recommend Hometown CPO! Mike Thompson was awesome! He was in constant contact with us, from the time we called about a vehicle they had on the lot, until we were able to drive 2 hours to come test drive it a couple days later, and ultimately take it home with us!! If he didn’t know the answer to our questions he went and got them! Also while we were there we had our 3 small children with us and the staff was so kind to them, playing football and entertaining the kids for a bit! And while the service department was finishing up washing our new ride, us and some of the staff stood around talking and even telling personal stories! All in all a great experience! Can’t say enough good things about the staff at hometown!

Honestly, I’m not one to leave reviews. But in this instance, Hometown CPO Auto has earned all five stars and some details. Joey Payne and Quentin Smith went the extra mile and so much more for me today.They got me financed at a much better APR than I couldve imagined and took care of my every concern in making my first vehicle purchase in years.With these folks, you just cannot go wrong. They care for customers.

Rich was very helpful, was completely honest about everything and even got us into a new vehicle within a couple hours.

We were looking for a very specific vehicle, so we drove from out of state and payed a deposit to hold it. We were lead to believe the vehicle was in excellent condition. Upon arrival we could see that there were several things wrong with it from trim damage (that was easily visible) to a vibration above 60. We were not pressed to buy the vehicle which was nice. We were told that the deposit was going to be refunded. We called a few times over the next 10 days, were told it had to be a check and would be mailed but was never received. Eventually we spoke to a finance manager who was able to process the refund on the spot.

Terrible customer service, I bought a truck with a cracked windshield was told it would be fixed the same week I bought. The windshield hasn’t been fixed and it’s been 2 months. Was told I could her my oil changed and windshield fixed the same day. Week goes by now my oil change appointment magically disappeared. Will never never buy a vehicle from any of there locations again. Gave one star because couldn’t give 0 stars. Do not buy any vehicle from them. They don’t keep there word.

I thought it was going to be a great shopping experience but when we got there the vehicle that was supposed to be sent down from the Waverly lot was no where to be found and no one knew of its whereabouts either. After we found other cars to have to look at, we felt like we were being pressured into buying a car THAT day. In fact they even said they would give us X amount of dollars for my trade but when we said we wanted to think about it they told us that the offer would be around that much and they would have to see. Now to top off everything, the salesman sent my wife a friend request on Facebook a couple of days later.....creepy, yes I think so!! This is NOT the way to run a business and we went ahead and spent our money on a vehicle at a better dealership where we didnt get creepy vibes from.

I must admit we were not pleased after buying our new vehicle there at first. I was called a few weeks ago to remind us of our warranty and to let us know most of the staff had changed. I was so pleased to hear this because we didnt have a good experience last time we had an issue with our car we were forced to go to their location in Waverly. This time when an issue arose I couldnt be happier with the service we received. The service department is amazing and went well above and beyond my expectations. I am so glad we were called and told about the changes made because we would have never considered going back but now since seeing the changes I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.
