Nice workers, but not a lot of variety to choose from.

The store is always clean, including the bathroom. Employees are friendly and helpful. Sometimes stock is low. Overall I recommend save a lot. Prices are low, meat selection is good and fresh. The bad thing is that in the current covid-19 situation they DO NOT enforce mask wearing or social distancing. Carts are not being sanitized, check out lanes and counters are not either. Im greatly disappointed at that! I have made my trips less frequently. I have to really budget my grocery money and shopping at save a lot has greatly helped me. Unfortunately, because of the virus and their lack of concern I have limited my shopping at save a lot.

Bought a cantaloupe from them and it was totally green inside. Will try to take it back to see if I can get a refund or replacement.

Convenient and some products are cheaper here. The main thing I do not like about the one in Ironton is that they do not have the 5 for $20 deals on their ground and cut meats like the ones in Ashland and Portsmouth. I do wish they had more products as well. I would give it a 3 star review but they have some nice employees who will put forth effort to know you and talk with you making the shopping experience nice, thus I give it 4 stars.

I moved a year ago and i havent been able to shop here like i use to when i lived in town. I just went there and So Different now, but I LOVE it and i miss all their amazing prices

Theyve really improved this past few months. Better selections to choose from along with lowest prices around. I especially love the canned chicken and dumplings. They sell out fast on those. And I also love their real bacon bits. Theyre also the best Ive found. And the price is great for them too!

Constantly low on products. Freezer broke and milk goes bad way too soon. I suggest going too bartrams cause they are fully stocked and better products.

Ive went to this place ever since I was a child, getting food with my mom and dad. Its always been pretty nice with really good prices, although some things we get from here go bad pretty quickly, though it may just be the fridge my father has since its well over 18-19 years old.

Shelves and freezer section was bare but its a nice place to shop.

The employees are really nice an you get through the check out lines pretty fast.

I love this place and literally shop here every month! Just as good as Kroger, has better products in most cases than Aldi and for sure will feed the family on a budget! Their Yogurt is awesome and is my favorite brand among all grocery stores in the area! The 5 items for $19.99 is a great value and their meat department has made several changes and have improved overall making the selections of meat much better than in the past! The can food and box food is in line with any competitor so if your on a budget, this grocery store is for you not to mention its in the same complex as the dollar tree! Win win right! Happy shopping!

This is a great grocery store they have the best prices and you can get a lot of things in there pretty cheap the staff is awesome and they have a variety of different things their meat department has awesome cuts of made and its always sold out and always replaced with fresh made everyday I love it Ive never bought anything bad theyre like I said they have a lot of good prices their vegetables are priced very low canned and fresh its no mistake to go grocery shopping here sometimes its crowded but its worth putting up with the crowd because you get good bargains and you save money

I recently started shoppin there again. First couple times I’ve been in since the remodel. Store looked cleaner than I’ve ever saw it. Produce was 1000 x better than I remember it. Staff was friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Every store could improve on something but I’m giving a 5 star bc I think it’s improved.

I am 64 years old lived in 6 states...shop in grocery store all over America.this is the worst produce I have seen in my life...i been here many times and same problem...old outdated fruit and vegetables...get your act together or you will be out of business.

Small grocery store with little selection. Ok for a days grocery shopping but not recommend it for a big shopping experience

Good place to shop

Newer building and layout, was able to find everything that I needed without any help. Cashiers are nice and dont hate their job like other places.

Ive always liked this store and bought quite a bit of my meat here. The guys in the meat department are marvelous. I had a question today about sirloin tip roasts/steaks and immediately I was told of the best way to cook and what could be done. Next I asked about the chicken tenderloins and the person showed me another spot where I could get something very similar to what I had asked for. I took a chance, bought a package and its very good for the amount of chicken and price. This is a great store that actually cares and will do whatever they can to help you. Thanks to all at Save A Lot. Ill be back next week!

A good place to shop for lower prices

Definitely improved since the last time I’ve been in.

I love the store easy to get what you need at good price. Made special trip there to get pork chops at 1.49 lb and ribeyes at 4.99 lb. Had nothing there that they advertise.
