Its a fascinating experience to walk through Home Consignment Center. Today I saw a a bedroom suite of Chinese inlaid furniture including nightstands, a vanity table and mirror and a dresser (or something like that. I also saw chandeliers, lots of artwork, and a wide variety of home accessories including artificial plants and sculptures. At the moment, they have a good selection of outdoor furniture ranging from teak patio sets to Brown and Jordan and more rustic- looking outdoor furniture. There are complete dining room sets, plus dining room tables and dining chairs sold separately. They had a few bed frames and nightstands as well. There were a number of reclining chairs including a creamy white leather sectional with recliners. The prices are usually quite good and much less than if you buy the same item new.
This is my favorite consignment store—great if you’re looking for furniture, art, or jewelry. Some of the best pieces I’ve gotten from here were a formal wood raw edge dining set and black leather couch. They get new pieces all the time and it’s worth frequently taking a look around.
Been buying furniture, art, and some jewelry here for years. Its always fun to walk through there large building of one of a kind furniture and such. Dont be surprised if you buy something you didnt even know you wanted. It happens! Have fun...

I was disappointed by the customer service at the Irvine location. I had put a cream colored sectional on hold. When I returned the next day, there were two noticeable stains that hadnt been there the day before. Walking around the showroom, almost every white sofa had dirty child-sized footprints. I talked to the sales manager who didnt offer a discount. I wish he would have at least offered to spot clean or attempt to remove the stains before I committed to purchasing the sofa. Instead, he just told me that the furniture is used. I didnt get a friendly vibe from him at all. I decided to leave and not make the purchase. If youre going to charge approximately $1000 for a used sofa, you should offer a little more customer service and keep children from jumping all over the products. This location also seemed a bit dingy to me. The other location in Laguna Niguel is much cleaner and the staff is much more friendly.

Found an office chair here at a great price. It has a good selection of items at reasonable prices and I would come here again if looking for another item. Items were also distinctive and unique.
When I called beforehand, the staff was polite and had me send pictures ahead of time to make sure they would take the item. When I dropped it off, they were prompt and explained the process throughly. The showroom is clean and items are well displayed. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would come here again either to buy or sell.
Oh my gosh, we (my whole family) love shopping here and looking through all the beautiful jewelry, great furniture, art work and accessories at wonderful prices.... and you can consign some of your own stuff .....

This place is crazy. Tons of extremely qualified furniture, decor and a huge jewelry selection at very reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly and helpful, obviously they are a volume dealer so stopping by frequently can offer many treasure choices.

I often go to the Consignment Center to find things in their constantly changing display. Last weekend I bought two Shabby Chic nightstands which are terrific. Everyone was most helpful in loading them into my car. Tim was great.
I also find something at a great price, even if its not what Im looking for. The people are super nice. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because its so hot in there. It will sometimes cut your shopping time short.

I went to the Newport/Teller Ave store and the Manger and staff here are wonderful. I bought a custom made high end dining set. They quickly loaded the pieces for me in my truck without any damage. I will definitely return and buy more items.
I have both placed pieces on consignment and purchased items in the store. I cruise through it pretty regularly looking for things because they move their products pretty quickly. If you find it, buy it. Ive been happy with the service that I received.

Designing your home on a dime is possible at this place. I started off by visiting the Laguna Niguel location. That location had an overwhelming supply of very nice items to choose from at really excellent prices. A sales consultant inquired if I had any specific requirements and I described the space I was decorating and the items I was looking for. She then advised me that I should check out the Newport Beach location because it had a much larger warehouse, therefore making the selection more plentiful. The Newport Beach location did have a bit more to choose from, but none of the pieces were as nice as the Laguna Niguel location, and no one approached me to offer assistance. I will still do business with these people in thw future because it is basically a thrift store/pawn shop for furniture and jewelry, but the Newport Beach location needs to up their game on customer care and merchandise selection, as the Laguna Niguel location has a very classy and elegant showroom feel to it despite its lesser address and is not that far away from Newport. I am still piecing together ideas for my tiny space, and I will surely find something special and heirloom quality soon, but I am not an impulse buyer these days. Quality, longevity, style and comfort are the traits I am looking for in furniture these days.

Not easy to find. Located behind other businesses, off Teller, near Campus, McArthur exit of 405 Frwy. Free pkg and accessible ramp. Jewelry and furniture, some art. Really unusual and different furniture and really special things from luxury homes. Not a great place for apt size furniture, but I got a small recliner here. Has new and gently used furniture. Charge for delivery. Look for signs to find this place. One of several locations.

Got my little couch here. Its a good place to shop if youre not in a hurry of finding the perfect furniture every visit. You will find some cool stuff at a bargain price most of the time.

Jewlery counter is extremely Judgy, critical and unpleasant to do business with. Went in yesterday, to scope out before bringing my high end Jewlery, and since prices were ridiculously high for quality and amount of gold (prob due to location, compared to other home consignment shops in Orange County), I decided to make another trip today to come back and consign some pieces out of my personal collection.To my surprise, I was bacically profiled the moment I stepped up to the counter, with an hour and a half left till closing, the lady looked at me as if I was selling candy bars and asked if I had any “designer pieces, or real gold”, as she didn’t have much time because she was allready packing up the Jewlery. Regardless of her unplesent attitude, I showed her only the gold pieces from my collection of over 10 grand in Jewlery that I brought to that location.To make small talk and lighten up the mood I began to talk about how I was excited to be almost finished with my gemologist courses at the GIA and it was then, at that moment, With each piece I showed to her, she almost acted as if she was inferior towards me, not even being the least bit subtle about it, and I remained calm but was baffled as to why she was acting like a teenager with her panties all in a bunch.She passed on high quality sterling turquoise squash necklaces, then natural pearl pieces as well as natural and unique gemstone necklaces that had 14k gold in the pieces and then lastly, anything that was 10k.Due to her unplesent attitude, I only showed her 3 engagement rings that I had and 2 gold necklaces, as I was positive that the place would do very well with those pieces. Though to my dismay, she continued to devalue each and every piece I showed her, including a beautiful and unique engagement ring from the 20’s that she states because it only had a half carat center stone with baguettes and a halo around it from the 20’s would only sell for a mere 400 bucks, even though I had a insurance appraisial certificate, siting right in front of her face dated from the 90’s I might add, with a replacement value of $4,700.00.I then showed her a piece that was almost identical to one that was selling in their case for $1300 dollars. When it came time to give me the price, She offered to consign the piece at $150 which was scrap value for it and then explained that they take 60% of whatever it sells for and I only get 40%. It was at this moment I knew that this lady just didn’t like me. So I called her out on it. It was at that moment this lady blaintinly lied to my face sayin that the piece in the case was 18 grams and mine was only 5 grams ( did I mention identical piece)?!?I started to pack my things up as she was calculating the price for the last piece I had that was a 18k gold designer necklace that weighed 29g. Honestly, at this point if she offered me a billion dollars I would have walked away from it, but she didn’t even offer my what the value of gold was for the piece. If I wanted to sell my Jewlery for scrap, I would have went to a pawn shop.So to all those customers who want to either buy or sell from the Newport Irvine home consignment store, seriously DONT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!And to the lady’s at the counter, I’d hope you would seriously consider how to treat your customers from here on out, and not talk about your son the entire time who just finished the gemologist program at GIA. Your customers don’t care about your family or how much better your location is from all the other Home consignment stores in Orange County just because your store is the only one who has an onsite gemologists that you guessed it, was HER!Customers: make the drive to any of the other locations!!! I promise your experience will be 100X Better then what I experienced today!
