David gave me and my buddy fantastic customer service at the Irvine location. He had incredible stories from his own golf past, helped me find the perfect set of irons, and really just reminded me of what excellent customer service really looked like. Mike Kim went above and beyond to fit a couple clubs for me. he was extremely busy but still found the time to help everybody with a positive attitude. Knowledgeable, informative and thorough I am truly happy to have met him as he was also very patient and seemed to have my best interest at heart. If your just going into to buy something off the shelf, the store is great for that.But beware of doing custom orders for clubs.If something gets back-ordered or out of stock, they wont let you know. You also have to try to get a hold of customer service every 2 weeks to check the status of your order. And getting a hold of customer service is a nightmare. It will take multiple emails and calls until you get to talk to someone.After all the waiting, I had my order delivered to the store and the store never notified me that they received it. Only after talking to customer service did they tell me my order was at the store.

Excellent place to get any golf gear you could ever want. Their practice area is the best deal. 100 dollars for the whole year, and you can use their practice area with launch monitors as much as you want.

Harrased by a rude staff as soon as I used the hitting bay with launch monitor, trying to figure out which irons to buy. Instead of politely asking if I needed any help, I got yelled at by this rude asian man who is supposed to be their store manager. He was trying to embarrass me in front of other customers by raising his voice in a reprimanding tone. He was condescending and unfriendly. I will never go back to this place because of him. Roger Dunn is so much better.

Be careful when you purchase online1 they will charge premium2 they will sell you BLEM or display item disguised as new itemI bough Seemore Putter its $350 else where ( but out of stock) and they sell them for $375 which is fine I can live with $25 premium but they sold me a BLEM and grip was very dirty and the putter had a chip in itvery disappointed and will NEVER purchase from this seller again

The have extremely low stock on tennis shoes, I have been coming here for the past 6 months and they always have the same excuse for low supply, they don’t have all the sizes, we had to buy the shoes on display that was looking black because my son needed a shoes for his tournament on Saturday. We talked to the manager and he was very rude and didn’t want to give any little discount fir it even though we have been coming to this store all the time. I won’t be back and will go buy it online from tennis express.

Went to PGA superstore to try some drivers and get a new sand wedge and putter. Tried several drivers in their indoor range until it was obvious which one suited me. The sales guy was really patient, positive and very helpful. Bought all 3 clubs without any pressure or gimmicks. Really happy with my new clubs and really happy with my experience tonight

Horrific service. Paid for a custom club fitting and they called me 30 minutes prior to cancel as the pro was sick, and had been for multiple days. This is an hour and a half drive so I was already an hour in. If you know the person is sick why would you wait to call me until just prior?? It’s the middle of a pandemic for goodness sake if someone’s sick they should stay home for multiple days.Go to Roger Dunn just down the street from here. Much better customer service and people. You’ll be happier.

I went in for a driver fitting with Travis Vorpahl. He was very knowledgeable about the fitting process and the different products. He was also very patient and didnt try to push me into buying anything as some people in golf shops do. I recommend anyone looking for new clubs to set up a fitting with Travis and get a 5 star experience. I will be going back and sending friends there also.

Huge store with massive inventory of golf and tennis gear all in one roof! Features include club fitting, club testing, re-shafting and all kinds of work. The testing center is quite impressive and they have store personnel who are knowledgeable of golf specs for players. Very high-tech and one of its kind.

Tried to sell me a used putter. It was a demo and not covered with plastic. Had some obvious scuff marks. Asked for a discount and the sales guy was very rude saying the damage was negligible then walked off. Guess he doesnt understand the term NEW. Ill take my business to Roger Dunn.

Golfers paradise. I wanted to get a wedge, the staff was knowledgeable and helpful, but seeing these two posters were the best thing yet. It was over the titleist wedges, and this actually helped me pick out a different brand. It should be at the beginning of the row in my opinion, something customers can see right away. On top of that their return policy is great for someone who gets a club, plays, doesnt enjoy it, and wants something different, easy exchange. Now thats unheard of. Great store, thank you guys.

Went in today and approached an associate about a driver fitting when I was told previously by an associate to show up anytime to receive a fitting. He gave me two clubs and then disappeared for an hour and a half after, not helping me find the best fit driver. I understand the need to divide time between customers but this was unacceptable. I left before getting fit. I couldn’t have felt any less valued as a customer.

To start this is a really nice and clean store. it really does feel like a big superstore if you had never been to the location before. For the most part the employees there are friendly and helpful. But like at any business there are better employees than others. However, I think for me the biggest reason why I give this place a three star rating is because their selection is no where close to a Roger Dunn. I was waiting for months for them to get the new Cobra clubs in so I could try them, even though Cobras own website said that the clubs were in stock. After months of waiting I finally gave up and went to Roger Dunn and bought my new set of Cobra irons because they had the irons. I was actually able actually try them before I shelled out the cash. I dont like the fact that every time I asked I got the same answer of, we can order them for you. Yes, I understand that, but I could do the same thing off of Cobras own website. I actually wanted to try them before I spent a $1000 on a new set irons. The other thing that annoys me is that many of the clubs they have are display models only so even if you wanted to try them you couldnt because they dont want for you to ruin their display. I would recommend that if you are in a place where you want to buy and really try everything out before you make your heavy investment go to Roger Dunn because they will have everything for you to hit and they are so much more relax about you trying out clubs. I wish the PGA Superstore had more of this attitude. However, if you are a local to the area and they do have what you want then it is a nice place to go.

11/6/2019 I ordered a pair of golf shoes for a tournament I was playing in and paid 25.00 for an overnight delivery. 2 days later 11/8/2019 I was leaving out of town and no shoes. I called 11/8/2019 and they refunded my shipping cost and said the shoes would be there. On Monday 11/11/2019 I called for an update and was told the shoes never were picked up by the delivery company and were in fact sitting on the counter still. He assured me that they would get them to my overnight at no additional charge and was grateful. Late last night after I knew the shoes werent delivered again I emailed customer service with a very polite request to just cancel the order because there was something going on and or lost. Today is 11/13/2019 I received a very short and without any apologies an email stating you will be credited for your charge thats it and I called to see what was going on?? No explanation or anything. My family are all avid golfers including our 9 yr old JR PGA Player and offered no apology again or a were still going to get theses shoes to you and heres a discount or something. Im very disappointed being a business owner and I have had to compensate a few times for my customers for good faith but this is shocking for such a big name to not take care of this problem when clearly is is 100% NOT any fault of mine.Anna

I purchased a new set of irons there. I played with them twice and just not right for me. I was close to the return date though. I took them in and asked if they could work with me. I was fortunate to meet with Paul Vochelli the assistant manager. Not only was he very accommodating on my return credit he took the time out of his busy day to personally custom fit me, loft, lie, shaft for me swing speed etc. Awesome experience and real pros there. 5 star!

I wanted to give a shout out to the incredible staff at this store! Lee, Darby, Michael and the whole staff have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. All of them have been such a help and spent so much time with me to get me expertly fitted for all my new clubs. Michael is probably the most knowledgeable guy Ive ever spoken to regarding golf equipment. Every time Im in there everyones saying hi and greeting me with a smile. Scott the Tennis master stringer is by far the best stringer in OC. He knows his stuff, very professional and is very helpful. it is not typical to find someone with his experience in big box golf super store. I ran into his section two years ago while looking for clubs for my daughter and had no idea they had a tennis section!!! been coming ever since.

Wow, what a great place. I have religiously been a Roger Dunn customer but was referred by a friend. I found some Nike Clubs on a website that were on sale for 399.00 The price at PGA was $499. I brought in the ad and they graciously matched the price with no hesitation. What a deal!!! Did I mention they have custom fitting for FREE!!

Needed new golf shoes and I went to the Superstore, was very impressed with the staff and large selection. Prices were comparable or better than all the other large golf merchandisers.They have definitely earned my future business.

When I was walking into the store, one of the managers ask me to check my backpack. I thought okay maybe they have kind policies that not allow backpacks. I put my backpack in my car and back to the store, this same manager sees me and talking to one of his stuffs in the same timeeyes open, some people steals. I was shocked. Seriously?? Im just visiting friend from Canada and walk into a random store, treated like this.

I was an avid golfer a few years back and my handicap was at -4. I got a brain fart and decided to become a cyclist. In 2015 May I fell off my bicycle and spent 5 weeks in the hospital with 9 days in a coma. 6 weeks of rehab later my brain got to work enough that I decided to go back to golf.I took an inventory of my old clubs and 20 minutes at the driving range showed me that all my clubs are way too outdated. Then I found PGA Superstore.I am a pain in the neck customer; I remember the swing mechanics but lost most of my flexibility. I picked up a set of R-flex irons but a S-flex driver purely from old memories. Then my flexibility came back bit by bit but the driver was way too stiff for my broken shoulder. It was a nightmare to fit me for the proper flex iron set and driver. Throughout the whole process, PGA Superstore is patient with me. The entire staff is kind and professional and worked tirelessly in trying to find what I needed and they all really did their best to help me find my gears every step of the way. Lee, Sergio, Travis, Sid, everyone was a consummate golf pro and helped me every step of the way. I hate to tell them, I am still looking for fairway woods...

Just came to visit this store for the first time with my son and daughter. I was said hello to and then not one of the professionals asked if I needed any help. Ill never come back.

I was in 2 weekends ago, at youre store in Irvine, CA. My experience was not so good, Im 64 yrs.Old, American, of Mexican decent, it just seemed I could not get anyone to help me, I found it strange, I was looking for range finders and a good Odyssey putter, I ended up buying 2 shirts, but it was like they just could not get rid of me fast enough. In any case, I was comparing prices. I had already purchased at Golfsmith in Upland, Ca and will continue to go there, I probably have spent a good chunk of money in the last 18 mo. You have to pay for club fitting? This is why the game of golf is not growing. When does Nordstrom start charging to try on clothes?

I had my heart set on a new set of irons so I went in after work shortly after 4pm. Walked over to the sim area and was greeted by a young man named Logan. Told him what I way eyeing and my price range. Logan snagged a few different 7 iron heads and a handful of sticks. Id consider myself a slightly better than average amateur golfer but many might disagree hah. After about 30 minutes and a dozen combinations of shafts, heads, stiffness, length he got me dialed in. Was consistently getting 170 yds and majority straight with a slight draw on the sim with Taylormade M4s with stiff shaft. He suggested if I didnt mind waiting to get a 1* change on the lie to help with my mishits that went a little awry. Logan was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the differences I should feel swapping between certain lengths and shafts and things to work on to improve consistency. For me personally, good knowledgeable service is what keeps me coming back even for things not as technical as fitting clubs. Thanks to Logan I will gladly spend my $ at PGA Superstore in Irvine.
