New Black owned spot for “mature crowd”. Been wishing for a venue like this close to a Fort Worth for a while. Although it was apparent that they were working out some kinks; I really enjoyed this place and seeing Avery Sunshine. Will definitely be back to do my part to support them.

I absolutely love this place, well organized, always has the supplies that I need for my art studio and production. My wife also finds everything that she needs for her classroom as well as home goods. Hey if you are in the area stop by you won’t be disappointed. Let me know what think? I have been so busy lately and money is always tight but one of my few passions in life is being an amateur jewelry maker and Ive even sold some online. Ive needed some new findings for a pair of earrings Ive been imagining lately, so tonight i decided to treat myself. I had not been to this particular location, and although Ive always been satisfied with the options at Michaels, i was particularly pleased with the selection this store had, and I was fortunate enough to come in during a sale–50% off all strung beads! it was after 8:30 and the jewelry section was near the front of the busy store but I was able to drown out the steady hum of next, please until about 5 after 9, at which time I noticed the store had become strangely quiet except for an occasional radio transmission between the employees. pleased, i continued shopping. at 9:14 a young woman with short brown hair and glasses approached me and said that she would be in the middle section whenever I was done my shopping. surprised, I asked her when they were closing, as they hadnt even begun to announce it on the overhead speakers. she smiled and said were already closed but thats okay take your time Ill be there when youre done. and here I had been busily comparing prices and beads of different colors I had several in my basket and a half dozen strands in my hand–I had not begun to wind down my shopping. her warm demeanor was so unexpected, especially given my faux pas of outstaying my welcome, I felt compelled to write this review immediately, even now as I sit in the Michaels parking lot in my car. now tell me that is not the most incredible customer service. not only did they not rudely harangue shoppers with commands to hurry up over the PA, as is the norm in most retail stores in Michaels price range, but even after i ignored the clearly posted store hours (unintentionally of course) they still made me feel welcome and appreciated! I will definitely be coming here again!

This store is super organized and always has team members roaming the store to help. Usually a good number at the register as well.

I love going here. Staff is super friendly, and even told me my dog was cute. I love how this is a dog-friendly store, and they have so many cute supplies here. They are always willing to help the customer, and let us make sure we can the lowest price possible. Definitely going to come back here again.

This rating is NOT for the employees. But it’s for the customers that shop at this location. I have been here TWICE and BOTH times there has been incidents where customers are RUDE and make smart remarks. Today I experienced that AGAIN today!! And the employee kindly helped her. PEOPLE: PLEASE BE MORE KIND AND HELPING!! If you are having a bad F~€&!%£ day, DONT TAKE IT OUT ON ANYONE! ESPECIALLY on people that are there to help with your purchase!!! 😇

At the store Orianna provides no customer service. I asked her if they had a particular size in different color she asked to look it up online. Lazy as one can be. No effort to check it in their system or move away from the desk to check if they have it in store. Asked if I could speak to the manager n she goes Manager Diana is busy. I insisted to speak to the manager, who then went to look for it. Some people just don’t like to do their job!!

Michaels is a fun store to shop in. We got a certificate framed and it looks fantastic!

Curbside pick up took 30min! Store was NOT busy at all. Wasted so much time! Curbside pick up was supposed to increase convenience, not waste time. Had to change plans for the evening because of unqualified workers.

I bought nice, realistic looking succulents and pretty rocks for my terra cotta pots.

This was my first time shopping at Michaels and I was really impressed with the huge selection of art/craft supplies. The McArthur store is clean and organized and everything was easy to find. What I wasnt prepared for was their prices. Extremely expensive compared to just about any other craft or fabric store. Normally I order supplies from Amazon but I want to start shopping at brick and mortar stores again. Unfortunately everything I bought at Michaels today I could have gotten for 50 or 60 percent less on Amazon. The price on the shelf said 40 percent off but at the register it rang up full price and I didnt say anything because I was in a rush. I would shop here again but as a 3rd or 4th choice.

Love going to Michaels usually. But this particular store has some highly incompetent employees, especially during late afternoons. They do not know where any products are, they dont know how to cash out or use coupons. Highly inefficient.

The customer service here is wonderful. My Xmas gift art desk was missing a part AFTER I had assembled it (took alot of time and was very frustrated) when I called the manager, Jay, helped me getting the part. When I went back home it didnt fit the hole and we were able to swap out my fully assembled desk with the fully assembled display! Xmas SAVED! Jay even helped me load my car with it. Amazing service and done with a happy heart!

The staff here is very helpful and took the time to help me in a search. As I was leaving, one of the items I purchased lost its lid, glitter EVERYWHERE. The cashier never missed a beat. Told me nit to worry about the mess and replaced my item at no charge.

My wife and I frequent this store for supplies and have always had an above-average shopping experience. The people in the framing department have been especially helpful in our visits.On the whole, this is a great store!4/5 stars due to a couple of negative experiences:• We have had to drive to other Michaels locations because a few commonly in-stock items are simply not stocked at this store.• A couple of employees up front have been very unhelpful Example: one of the cashiers (I believe named Barb?) barely talked to us while we were checking out because she was busy having a very loud personal conversation with another cashier at the other end of the register line).I would definitely recommend this Michaels to anyone in the area!

I love Michaels. But this review is for your website. I was trying to contact corporate but could not find out how to do that on your site. My suggestion is for your online shopping UI. Please for the love of god let us know if an item is sold out before clicking on it and getting our hopes up!!! i was browsing through your Halloween clearance online and literally 99 percent of what i clicked on was out of stock. usually websites will gray out the thumbnail of an item or write OUT OF STOCK above it. Will not be shopping online until this is fixed. :(

Irving Michaels is always clean & orderly. Great welcoming when walking in, they check on you throughout your visit and help you to your vehicle.

They have a good selection of arts and crafts supplies. Covid 19 has been hard on their supply chain and staffing. They are a little more under stocked than normal because of that.

That 50% coupon is the best. I always buy my giant canvases with that coupon. And what a deal. They have some of the best painting supplies which is the only reason I go.

Item # 1. Let me start out by saying, MY STORE IN WAYNESVILLE, N.C. IS TOO small. 80% of the time I can not get what I want because this store does not carry it. I am told that I will have to go to the larger Michaels in Arden, N.C.. That store is 35 miles away, which, if you do the math, is a 70 mile round trip for me. Very poor planning people.Item #2. Your stores are too darn hot, summer and winter. I cant shop when I am sweating. While all of you Suits are sitting in your comfortable offices, think of us, stripping down, as far as we can legally go in public, just to shop. Please cool it down a little, PLEASE!By the way, there is nothing wrong with the staff at my store. They are super!

Applied for a job with Michaels Craft store and got a call for an interview today at 2pm. I got there early and let them know i was here early at 145pm.She said we interviewed you several months ago. And youre not what were looking for for the up front position. I told her that i applied for several positions. And asked her what she meant by not what theyre looking for. She said and i quote, you dont have the look and that you are too old. I told her Im only 40 and they have people in their 50s and 60s working there. Seriously going to a lawyer tomorrow morning and see about it. They seriously screwed up. Telling everyone that I know to not shop at Michaels. This location is GREAT... the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I always enjoy my time here. They have an extensive selection of hobbies and crafts, personally I like the section of color markers and paints.

This was my best visit to a Michaels in my area. A young lady greeted me upon entering the store. Our paths crossed several times and she answered questions, directed me to product, and explained promotional to me. I found everything that I needed and more. I will definitely go back to this Michaels because of the outstanding service...plus the whole area is a shoppers delight. Theres plenty of parking.

Not too stocked, Okay place

On Black Friday my daughter and I went to the Michaels store on Staten Island and waited on a long line only to be told when we finally reached the register that we could not use our coupons because it was 12:10pm and the coupon was only good to 12:00pm even though we explained it was due to the wait on line. This is no way to treat loyal customers!

Went in yesterday and bought a lot of fun items, the was a staff person passing out flyers and pointing out the 20 % off everything on Sunday so I went back today bought more fun stuff and got to register and gave clerk the flyer, she said that was for last week, why would you have a stall walking with a cart fixing the shelves after the holidays passing out the flier for the previous week, I told the clerk about it it was like oh well. She really should have honored it. NOT happy, sitting here thinking about returning g everything

Michaels is a great art supply store. Although they arent my absolute favorite, I really like them a lot. The store is always clean and that includes the parking lot that they share with several other stores. They have helpful, friendly customer service reps and a large store with all kinds of supplies. Unfortunately, they do not have fabrics but I guess they leave that to the competitors. They have great sales every week and they almost always have something on sale that I want or need. (At least I feel like I need it). They have a great supply of polymer clay and acrylic paints, brushes, canvases, over sized lettering (for the wall etc.), glues and beading supplies. My grown daughter loves to make planners and organizers and she says that their paper, stickers and writing utensils are to die for. She often finds items that she had been looking everywhere for and wasnt able to find anywhere else. The only time they have long lines is when they have one of their ridiculous sales. What I mean by ridiculous is a 50 - 70 % coupon plus an additional 25% off. This happens often and at that time, you can expect to see every craftier in town standing in line. But not to worry because the lines usually move fast. And the reason I gave them 4 stars is because they do not carry a good variety of candle making supplies.

Good selection, order online and pick up in store is great. Ive had multiple staff members go the extra mile to help me out here and theyre great. Shout out especially to the folks working in the frame area - thank you!

Ive been shopping at Michaels for art supplies to support my art business. Once you get on their member program, you get emails letting you know about sales, coupons and classes.I get some really great deals on canvases, paint, paint brushes and frames. To avoid waiting in line, use their online shopping and pick up at the store!

Ribbon I just bought 4.99 a roll 2 1/2 x3yd diets go far to use on a big wreath I bought 3 like the cashier suggested .and it still isnt enough .I find Michaels very expensive and overpriced on 99%of there items .there the only craft store around n they know it .So they even got you on the coupons .can never use them on cricket. Of on sale items which they raise the price up anyway .So were screwed here .Now I cannot finish my wreath because I need more ribbon .unbelievable.

As a former frame shop owner, I have high standards. I can’t stand mats with overcuts or undercuts. It also seems like framing has gotten very expensive. Not at Michaels. They do excellent work for very reasonable prices. I brought two pieces for framing. The friendly and competent woman who helped us choose colors & frames. I am very happy with their work, and I highly recommend them. Look how beautiful this is!

I dont understand how this particular store function. I see online items available in store but when I call them they say Its not available.But I am able to order them online and Ship them at store.Apparently within an hour I get an email - That item is ready for pickup.If you dont have an item at store then how is it ready for pickup within few minutes? Good strategy to tell bluff w/ customers.

My girlfriend had been here for 6 yrs and they pay her minimum wage not anymore and treat her so bad the manager discriminates against her she has one eye but yet the best hours and best numbers but still no right to put her or the other employees down making fun of them... Im now going to search for a lawyer for her she has the same rights as everyone unless theyre is something that states one eyes persons can get the worst possible treatment ever so micaels as a whole is one corporation I do not like anymore used to be my favorite place cant believe they let there employees get treated the way they do

I think this Michaels is great. However, I went the day after Christmas so much of what ideas looking for was gone. I believe on a regular day, all that I needed would have been there and Ive been before so I am only giving it 3 stars because what I needed wasnt there at that time due to the Xmas rush!

Meh no one seems to know where anything is but apparently trained to tell you its out of stock if you ask for something they may not have heard of. Thanks for the stellar help yall 5 stars!!!!. However i did find the item you said didnt exist then told me it was out of stock in the next isle over. i know it easier to say its out of stock than actually help,fret not, and never give up youll get it, customer service is tricky like that.

I don’t understand this company. They make a huge investment in gigantic stores, stock them with fantastic products, then consistently understaff them. Of the many stores I have been to, no one is ever on the floor to help and there is always a line to check out. Dont get it. Taking 2 stars off.

See one Michaels, you have pretty much seen them all. This one is a little different, in that it is the store closest to Michaels corporate Legal office. I shopped here everyday trying to get noticed by the General Counsel. Even did my Christmas shoplifting here one year. Maybe next layoff....

There was no one to ask about a department. Also, there was only 1 cashier & the check out took longer rhen it took to shop! Who knows she may have been the only employee working!!

Purchased items at Michaels in Meriden, CT on 12/20/15 only to realize I forgot to use the 20% off entire purchase coupon, which would have saved me over $10.00. When I returned to the cashier to get the 20% applied, I was told I could not use it, because it had to be presented at the time of check-out, and they couldnt do a price adjustment from my receipt. So, I told them I would be happy to return the items, and then repurchase them again using the coupon, since the savings would be significant. At first, this idea was totally rejected, but then they conceded and said they would do it, but they would have to return each item I had purchased back to its original place on the shelves before I could repurchase them again. So, I walked side by side with the store clerk, and as she replaced each item I had purchased back on the shelf including 2 rolls of scotch tape, and two very large picture frames, I took each item right back down while she stood there and watched, and put the item back into my new cart. One of the frames was pretty heavy, so I asked, are you sure you want to reach up to put that back up on that top shelf, and she replied, yup, after which point I immediately took it right back down while she watched and we moved on to the next item. When we had finished putting everything back and then taking it all back down again, together, we walked back to the front register where she rechecked out each item once again with the coupon. Im not sure how Michaels plans to compete when nobody in their right mind would ever return to do business in a store with customer service as poor as this. To top it off, when we returned to the register, the clerk who was no doubt irritated by what had just happened, made me wait while she replenished the very small bags on the rack, even though the rack was still half full of bags and neither of the frames I purchased would even fit in one of the bags. I would also like to note that there were approximately four other store clerks working at the registers that evening around 5:30 p.m., and there were no other customers waiting in line at any of the registers, so they were all watching this charade take place. I can assure you that I will never return to Michaels again.

Michaels will meet most of your crafting needs. Their custom framing department will do an amazing job, on all those old photos that we cherished so much!

Decent selection of yarns, but prices can be a bit high. Must use coupons in order to have the best price on most merchandise.
