So many reviews on MIKE BEING A CROOK!I normally do not post any reviews, but if this can help anyone looking to finance a motorcycle so be it at this location.Mike in the finance department will say insurance is required to be purchased because the bank requires it to protect themselves, will also say it’s because of COVID, or because you’re a first time motorcycle buyer the bank requires it! Don’t be fooled by his deceitful lies. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO FIND YOUR OWN BANK IF YOU’RE TRYING TO FINANCE TO AVOID HIM AT ALL COST! He then continuously lied to my husband after I had spoken to the bank myself advising they DO NOT REQUIRE OR EVEN OFFER ANY INSURANCE. Just a few weeks ago purchased my very first bike and had a great experience with Pedro and the team at Lone Star. Buying process was absolutely smooth and painless and they made sure to introduce me to everyone on their team from service and parts to finance. Just passed my MSF the day before and they delivered the bike right on time to my house. Made sure I was happy and knowledgeable about the bike. Awesome service. I went in and James helped me select a bike. Scott also shared his expertise with me, not only in riding but in gear. Financing was easy, Michael explained things clearly and I left on my bike that day! I got a used bike, but I feel confident in riding it because Michael was able to get me set up with a 3 year warranty. I will definitely be choosing Lone Star again for any of my cycle needs. **** Pooresr Service***** Avoid this dealership ****I bought two 2021 Yamaha EX Sport and Limited waverunner from this dealership. Withing a week both of the Waverunnes started vibrating. I took them to this dealership for check up and without even touching them they said both of them are ok. The following Saturday one of the waverunner wouldn’t start and the other one was vibrating excessively. I took them to the dealership again and they started diagnosing. After two weeks they told me that they would have to take the engine apart and check what’s happening. The following week they said the impeller sucked stone and the whole impeller and housing should be changed. The guy at service would say that he would call me for the updates but never called and had to visit the dealership everytime for updates. Finally I couldn’t wait anymore and asked them to just release my waverunner. They charged me almost $900 for labor saying that they had to take the impeller apart. Finally I got them back without getting fixed. They didn’t bother to put thr impeller back on on one of them and for the other one the impeller wasn’t taken out. The frustration dealing with them was unbearable. I don’t know if I could file serious complaint about them anywhere.

So, I went to this place a couple of years ago. This are the pics of the Yamaha I posted. We had come here after getting ignored at Dream Machine on 35. They had a ridiculous deal on this bike for $1999. I should have bought it that night, but silly me wanted to sleep on it. Next day, it was gone.Fast forward to a few weeks ago, we decided to pop in at my wifes suggestion to look around. Little did I know she was hatching a plan.Met Sam and he told me about a bike they had just gotten in. It hadnt been cleaned up, but he knew I wanted a good deal for a first bike. He showed me a Honda Shadow Spirit. It was a great size and felt good when I sat on it. My wife asked if I liked it and told Sam we were sold (after telling me to stop delaying what I want or Ill never do it).She and Sam worked out a great deal and arranged for them to deliver it. My first riding class is tomorrow and then Ill take my new Shadow (that I named Ramona) out.Thanks Sam and Lonestar.

I had my yamaha mt07 towed to their place. The service said they were going to call me in 2 days with an estimate. Now it is 3 weeks. I call them everyday nobody answers the phone. I am not even sure if my bike is still there. I am going to go there and take my bike back or file a police report. Stay away at all cost.

Their bikes are complete trash, and will have multiple issues that they will refuse to fix. Terrible experience, and dishonest employees.Within 10 miles of leaving the dealership, I discovered my R1 was:- pouring out oil from valve cover gasket- speedometer didnt work- check engine light came on (engine misfire due to oil leaking into spark plugs)- bike struggled to exceed 80mph (very odd for an R1...)- horrible speed wobble due to mismatched/unbalanced/unevenly worn tires- headlights stopped working due to incomplete recall (they refused to fix it when I mentioned it and offered to sell me the whole harness, even though recalls are fixed free of charge)They kept my bike for a month to repair the issues and I got it back on worse condition. This is after being charged a $2,600 extended warranty that, according to them, didnt even cover the headlight harness recall.Stay away from this dealership. They are crooks and sell unsafe/ unusable motorcycles and will not make it right.

We all know riding is dangerous.. but riding a bike from Lonestar Yamaha is even more dangerous. Bolts will fly off cause they avoid taking responsibility to fix parts that are CLEARLY RECALLED BY THE MANUFACTURER. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. They take 0 responsibility for selling UNSAFE bikes. They must not ride cause riders look out for each other. I suggest being more careful with who you laugh at over the phone they might have a huge impact on future customers 👀

Worse dealership in general I’ve ever been to... Do not waste your time with this place. I bought a brand new Off the crate Raptor 700. Came with ripped cable lines and the sales department never told me a single thing even after I had asked them to help me review it. And as far as the service, they do not take any of the work serious I have been waiting close to 4 weeks to get my raptor back from the service shop.. horrible never again.

If there’s one thing a mechanic/service department should never do, it’s to lie about work completed on a vehicle. Especially when it comes to safety recalls. But I was looked to in the eyes and was told that work was done on my bike when it had not in fact not been done. I cannot recommend these guys for service.

Struck me as i was being a burden to them for making them work for a living. Then to find out the bikes fall apart or can be unsafe for riding. Yet again another dissatisfied customer reaching out to admins. Not a surprise whatsoever. This place is being boycotted by members of several of bike groups on social media with 50k worth of followers in DFW Maybe when someone dies due to their neglect this place will shape up and restructure. Dont put your life on any of the bikes they sell go anywhere else literally. A guy bought an FZ09 with multiple recalls that were never addressed. Lone Star Yamaha does not care about riders just their money.

I went to the Yamaha dealership with my Kawasaki ninja 650 and Shae Haskins really helped me out! I originally went to get my chain tightened, and as that was happening I told Shae about a few issues I was having with my bike and him and his team fixed my loose mirror and replaced my worn out handle grips. Talking to Shae, it’s obvious that he knows what he’s talking about. Definitely plan on going back in the future.

Absolute joke when it comes to service work. Whoever changed my oil must have learned how to from the Walmart service center. The oil filter was cross threaded and the oil plug was completely sheared. Im out a bike until i get it fixed by someone with some common sense. Also, just FYI, if you see these guys listings on Facebook, keep in mind whatever price they have on there does not include fees and if you ask them, theyll tell you there are no additional fees. I drove all the way from Oklahoma just to find out I was gonna have to spend 500 dollars more than i was quoted. Unbelieveable.

Counter help is great, nice folks willing to help. Shop, not so much, took ATV wheels in on Tuesday lunch to have new tires put on. Went to pick them up on Friday at the end of the day. Rims on three were trashed. Had the two front mounted, one was flat by the time I got home. Instead of owning up to it, the mechanic said thats how he got them. Really? Why bother to try an mount them then. Now, Im hunting for new rims, and still have to have the tires mounted. Ill buy parts, but theyre not touching my stuff.

Please save yourself the trouble of the worst motorcycle dealer in Texas. I bought a new Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 in cash and over a month later, they had still not registered the bike with the DMV. Set aside the fact the bike was a piece of junk that kept stalling out while riding or at lights and their technicians failed to find the problem. They made the excuse that they only have one person who could do the DMV paperwork and she only worked once a week! So I just sell it back to them because I needed to ride and didnt want the hassle of an officer asking why my paper tags are out. They made so many excuses why they would not fully refund it but I was in a hurry so whatever. Their sales department also failed to get the refund on my extended warranty filed, like he told me he did. Straight up lied to me. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Plenty of other game in town.

I had some questions that were pretty detailed and she answered them very thoroughly, and actually helped me out by giving me some advice on how to save money. Another crooked and dishonest dealer... shocking, right?!?How many stories have you heard/read about a dealer misrepresenting products or services simply to maximize their profits during a sale, only to change their narrative when the services are actually needed? Well this is one of them.I purchased a Yamaha motorcycle from this dealer in the fall of 2020, and along with the motorcycle I was offered a pre-paid maintenance plan that I initially declined because the distance to this dealer from my home made it inconvenient to use them for service. In response to my refusal to their offer, the Finance Manager (Mike) mentioned an alternate maintenance program backed by the manufacturer and that would be redeemable at any Yamaha dealer, but the caveat was that it was considerably more expensive than the one we had initially discussed, and in an effort to make the sale he offered it at a discount, given so I agreed to the terms and signed up. Fast forward to the spring of 2021, my motorcycle is due for its first scheduled maintenance and I take it to my LOCAL Yamaha dealer for service and guess what? They cant locate a Yamaha service plan on the OEM database, so I dig up my paperwork to confirm my suspicion that Lone Star had signed me up for the maintenance plan that I had specifically indicated I DID NOT want and guess what? They did!This is the point of the story where I should have known better applies, as I should have reviewed the paperwork immediately to confirm that they had sold me the plan that I had agreed to (and not the one I had adamantly declined) but the joke is on me for trusting that sleazy crook Mike.In conclusion, I STONGLY caution against doing business with this dealer, but if you must, make sure you review your contract carefully and with skepticism.

After purchase I made my way to the parts counter. Worked with Jordan and his counter part. Came here to get a new battery for my yamaha vstar 1100, service seemed friendly enough as I called ahead. I was looking for somewhere that offered warranty on batterys so that way I could come back in person and get it worked out if neccesary. As opposed to buying cheaper online and not having that face to face interaction along with very limited warranty on online places like Amazon and what not.

Found a Husqvarna from these guys on the internet with great pricing. I asked what the out the door price was and they stayed with that price through the transaction. I drove 500 miles to pick the bike up and delivery was smooth and all that could be expected. With the purchase I got a significant discount on clothing and accessories and spent another $200 on that. Great transaction, good price, pleasant interaction with all the staff. Recommend this dealership.

Above and BeyondMy wife and I went in looking for Helmets. Great selection. Jordan is the guy. He helped us more than I can ever express. They didnt have the size in stock for my wife, which is ok so we put in an order. It was suppose to come in Friday before labor day. So Saturday morning we get dressed up and was about to head out. Then we got the call. It was Jordan. He said the delivery truck broke down and it should be in on Monday. Well they called on Monday and it didnt make it. Around lunch time on Tuesday he calls with the good news. Its in!!!! So now Im pressed for time cause we are leaving Friday to go out of town and we live in Azle. Before I could even express my concern Jordan says he could meet us at the gas station near the highway my WHAT REALLY????!!!!! MAN yes that would be awesome cause we are at least 45 minutes away with traffic. So This man did not have to deliver it purchased items at all. This is not something normal employees do. Thank you so much for the care of your customer . Need more people like this in the world today.

My dealings with the parts department has been very good. Their prices seem to be lower than anything else that I have found online. The only issue that I am experiencing has been as a result of the pandemic. Because the parts are generally coming from other countries delivery time can be slower than normal.I will continue to use Lone Star Yamaha for all of my parts purchases.

The sales process was smooth, Scott answered all of my questions and Brian H was thorough through the sales process. He also addressed any concerns that I had. Being a new rider before I left I rode around the area a bit. Scott even drove down a bit to check and make sure that I was alright. I dont know any other place where someone would do that for ya. The prices were also slightly under market so I was definitely happy. I also brought my bike up there a few weeks later because I was concerned it may not be riding right being a new rider. Scott gave it a test drive for me and left me with the assurance that it was good and some tips that definitely helped. He also left his number should I have any questions. I dont know anywhere else that you would get that kind of five star service, and you cant really put a price on that. The folks here love what they do, and Scott definitely went above and beyond. Totally disappointed. I had been a frequent customer of Lone Star Yamaha but this time, due to the pandemic, my order was very delayed and when they finally confirmed it was shipped to me, I never received it. They could never provide a tracking number or even the name of the shipping company and they refuse to send the order again or even refund my money. They dont make themselves responsibles and it was some good amount of money spent in that order. They dont answer my emails anymore.

I stopped at 2 other dealerships that day. 1 told me my front brakes were gone. The 2nd said my rear axle was bad and needed replacing. I called lone star Yamaha, even though my bike is a Suzuki, desperate to have my bike repaired. The new service manager told me to bring it by and they would handle it . (2 p.m. and they close at 5). In about two hours they had my bike ready for the road . Installed a new Dunlop rear tire and replaced the brake fluid. Nothing was wrong with the rear axle and all the front brakes needed was new fluid, contrary to what the first two shops diagnosed. All of the employees were very nice and truly cares about the job they do, and the new service manager made my experience the best I’ve ever had at any dealership. I may own a Suzuki, but Lone Star Yamaha will have all of my business from now on for all of my mechanical needs.

Chris was very helpful and gave me information regarding Motorcycle school.Then, when I was ready to buy the bike, they had a great selection with different styles and prices. These guys are awesome, outgoing,friendly and reliable! From start to finish Jeremy was very helpful and informative on all of the inventory, which it made it easy to find the right bike for me. They will not just try to sell you a motorcycle. I went in for a GXSR 600 and ended up with a Yamaha r6 because these guys knew exactly what they were talking about! I had a few road blocks on the finance part, but these guys went above and beyond to get me riding! Very pleased! and will only be doing business with LONE STAR YAMAHA from here on!

These guys are awesome. I stopped in to inquire about a jet ski and ATV a few months back. I came by this week again after having an unpleasant experience at a different store. I was in a time crunch so I called ahead and asked if I could get there and get a new 2018 450 Kodiak in my truck in less than 30 minutes. They told me no problem. The sales staff was polite, quick, easy to work with and sure enough I was on my way back to Fort Worth with a new ATV in the back of my truck in 30 minutes. They had a great selection of gear and riding necessities. I’ll be back soon for my first service appointment. Thanks y’all!
