Made an appointment and went in to have my ear lobes re-pierced. Donnie was phenomenal, explained everything and was fun and enjoyable to chat with for those few minutes. He put this older woman at ease and made it a great experience. The shop was very clean and organized. I’m glad to have followed the reviews I read. I had several piercings already, the hardware had to be removed prior to a recent surgery. After surgery I couldn’t get them back in myself so called Iron Ink after reading their great reviews. The woman on the phone was warm and friendly and suggested that I come in and speak to Donnie. Donnie was professional, kind and patient. I signed waiver, paid and he got me in and out in less than 15 minutes. I had pretty much damaged my hardware trying to get it in myself. So he made great recommendations on new options for me and explained why. The shop was clean and the staff professional. I’ll definitely return for more piercing. I had been searching for a new tattoo artist as my artist moved out of state. I’ll def be returning to have Donnie tattoo me. I’m really glad that I found this gem of a shop!

There were like 3 people that helped me. The dude up front was quick to get at me as soon as I approached the counter. He answered all my questions then I met my artist Donnie who was cool. He complimented my other tattoos so that made me feel welcome lol. There was also the apprentice who was nice and did a good job of not making it feel awkward or anything like that. Im going to check out more of Donnies work and might hit him up to get a tattoo soon.

Wanting to get a 3rd earlobe piercing, I called Iron Ink because Claires was unable to do it and the other tattoo parlor I visited was wanting to charge me $80. I had checked out Iron Ink previously for a tattoo I planned on getting and liked the reviews I read but ended up getting it somewhere else. So yesterday I called on a whim and Donnie answered. Said I could come right in and have it done (although they usually ask you to make an appointment). Said it would only be $40 total. The shop was clean, everyone wore a mask, I signed a waiver, paid upfront and was in and out in 15 mins. The piercing only took about 5 minutes but Im a bleeder so.... If I decide to get another piercing, Ill definitely go back to Donnie. Hes a cool, laid back, down to earth guy and he comes off as a very warm hearted person who cares about his customers. Hell walk you through the process as hes doing it so theres no surprises. Youll be in good hands :)

Horrible experience. Michael is the sorriest tattoo artist ever. I waited almost a month for his so called availability to get the tattoo. I showed up just to find out he wasnt there and he totally fForgot about the appointment. The female worker there is so nice. He came up with some lame excuse that he had a family emergency. Im not saying the whole place sucks, just him avoid him.

Great work, even greater people. Came in as a walk in/plus 1 with a friend and they got me with another available artist to do a little piece on my arm while I was waiting for my friend. We had a great time, everything was clean and nice and easy.

I got both my nostrils pierced by Donnie! It was a quick and easy experience. He didn’t hesitate or grumble when I asked him to move the piercing placement. It hurt a bit but the entire process was over in under 5 minutes. Will be going back!

Can’t say enough good things about Donnie and Iron Ink! Was looking for a shop to do a forearm piece and they were quick to respond, both the shop and Donnie, via Instagram and gave me a reasonable quote and quick availability. Contacted on Monday night, responded Tuesday morning, with the tattoo done on Friday night! He was super professional, shop was clean and everyone inside seemed to be doing their respective thing. He knocked it out in 45 minutes, all while adding a little extra flair on it, and I was on my way! Will definitely be back!

I came across this shop through yelp when I wanted a spontaneous tattoo. I got in touch with Donnie who was able to get me in right away (it was super last minute!) it was super easy to keep in contact from before my appointment until after my appointment. I got my tattoo on my hip area & the staff made different arrangements so I can have a more private area in the shop to get it done. I’ve been coming to iron ink since my first tattoo two years ago, the whole team is amazing but Dusty has done all my work to date and I would never consider going anywhere else for any reason. My tattoos are the ones in the photos with the gold watch on, just for reference. His style is what I was looking for but hadn’t found until I ran into him and the team here at Iron Ink. I would recommend him and the team to anybody you guys should come check em out 👍

I don’t know how anyone could have a bad experience here. I had the best experience coming here and I would never ever go to any place else! I don’t believe I ever could find a place that I would have a better experience with. I was really nervous about getting my dermal but they were so kind to me and did their absolute best to make me feel as comfortable as I could be. I even asked if I could lay down instead of sitting in the chair and they set it all up for me so I could fee more comfortable. I really appreciated that! I recommend Donnie HANDS DOWN! He was so awesome with me! It was so obvious that he knew what he was doing and even educated me on the process before we got started. I fully had complete trust in him which made the process a breeze! He was absolutely amazing! He even checked up with me about how the healing process was going a couple days after. He really shows compassion and care for his clients. It’s not hard to see that he loves what he does and I will forever recommend iron ink to anyone I know who wants piercings. What a great experience! My best friend and I got matching, floral tattoos by Jorge. He was incredibly nice, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. I also appreciate that he communicated with us during the process to make sure we liked how everything was turning out.Another thing that made this such a great experience was that Jorge talked to us while I was being tattooed, which really helped distract me from the pain.One other guy was at the shop, Bob, and he was super nice as well. Overall, its a great shop! Clean and everyone was very friendly. I felt super comfortable here, and definitely recommend this place to anyone! Especially Jorge! He did amazing work on us, and I cant wait to hopefully get more done by him.

I traveled all the way from Abilene just to get my tattoo from Iron Ink. Michael and his artists are true professionals. I had been wanting a traditional / old school navy tattoo for awhile and he was able to capture my ideas perfectly. What impresses me more than his professionalism, and the cleanliness of the shop, was his apprenticeship program with young tattoo artist. When you go to Iron Ink, you will have a highly trained artist that can live up to Michaels high expectations. The attention to detail on my tattoo work is amazing. I will be making the drive from Abilene again for my next tattoo!

I just got my first tattoo a few days ago at Iron Ink! Jorge did mine. He was very patience, professional, and nice. He walked me through the physical process of getting a tattoo (which calmed my nerves), and made sure I was clear on the aftercare procedures. The shop was clean and well-lit, and I loved the vibe and decor. Definitely will be coming back here when Im ready for my next tattoo!

I highly recommend this place. i live in Arlington and drove to irving because the service is that good. I have been here twice to get my piercings... a tragus, nose and other ear piercings... If you want a piercing pls ask for Donny.. hes a real pro. he calmed me down and did my piercings so good i didnt even notice the pain. Also i like the precautions they are taking during this pandemic like checking your temp etc... i felt safe going here and i will keep going here in the future.

Cody & the staff are Rock Stars! This was my first tattoo & it was a Custom Design, wrap around my ankle onto part of the top of my foot and another piece right above my ankle on the outside. Cody was so gentle & reassuring. I talked to another guy in the shop the entire time (Sorry I cant remember your name but youre GREAT!) to keep my mind off the pain. He didnt leave my side. I will be going back for detail work soon and possibly another tattoo. They are still patient with me when I call them about all my newbie questions. If youre in the Irving area, I would definitely recommend Cody at Iron Ink! Extremely clean shop! Not your average scary dirty shack of a place. Went in twice and had work done by Cody, this guy is the real deal...very courteous and conversational. He had me laughing half the time while doing a portrait and some cover up work. Cody made sure he had a good understanding of how I wanted the tattoo to look and also made some suggestions that I hadnt thought of. The owner was also very polite and down to earth making me feel at home. Hands down the best tattoo parlor Ive ever been to and I will recommend this spot to anyone looking for a tattoo without hesitation.

The artist who inked us was very unprofessional. He didnt make sure that we were comfortable throughout the session and went for smoke breaks without saying a single word to us. I am not one to write a bad review but my experience with him was very uncomfortable.

The artist that we made an appointment for wasn’t there. They did tell us to call the artist before hand but we forgot to do that. We showed up for our appointment but the artist wasn’t there. The other artist(white guy white beard) who was available tried to over charge us. For a simple tattoo, he wanted to charge us extra and said fonts are complicated. He was very unprofessional. Didnt speak a word throughout the session. Our tattoos dont look good. This is by far the worst tattoo experience.

I came in last week for a tattoo. It was a small tattoo, nothing big or crazy. Let me say this now, I have multiple tattoos on my body and I have never seen deep scarring on any of the other tattoos I have. The one I got from here has bad scarring and I noticed when I got home that in some places in my tattoo had deep, deep indentions, like he went too, too deep with the needle. Now I have scarring all over this tattoo. It’s healing slowly and scabbing up bad in some areas. I’m going to have to wait and get someone else to fix it after it heals.

Ironk Ink Tattoo is a GREAT shop. I has 3 tattoos previous to getting my most recent one with Michael C. He was BY FAR the best artist to ink me. Michael is a great guy, and a WONDERFUL artist. His work was very affordable, of really high quality and he did not dally around like some artists do. I recommend him to all of my friends and plan on getting more ink from him VERY soon! He is my sole tattoo artist now.

I feel bad doing this because my negative experiences do not reflect my views on all of the employees and the shop itself, but rather a single artist. Quite honestly, it is a very nice shop -- clean, welcoming, easily accessible -- good vibes overall. Bob is a true professional -- he is a great guy, he is experienced & he did a really nice piece on my back shoulder blade which I love. Spike is also the man -- good dude, light hand, really cool style and very detailed -- very impressed with his work I definitely recommended him. Mike is also really cool and does great work -- I cant speak for the piercing artists, but they are all very nice and I get the impression they do good work.My issues have all really been with Dusty. I called in about a month ago one night, explained a little bit over the phone what I wanted & was told to come in & that they could probably get it done -- upon arrival, I barely even explained anything about what I had planned & he immediately got defensive and said, Sorry, we are closing soon -- cant do it tonight. Granted it was a little late, but it didnt make sense to me. For one, I hadnt even explained fully what I wanted, so I dont know how he could have determined it couldnt be done (there was still a little over an hr before closing) -- I even tried to talk to him about it some more and it just didnt even seem like he was listening to me & that he had somewhere more important to be. He just kept just interrupting me and repeating that they were closing soon. Second, why would you tell me to come in for no reason? He didnt even seem willing to do a consultation or even offer alternatives. I was definitely upset, but I figured he was having a bad night or something...Last night, I called in -- very similar situation. I made sure to call with many hours before closing so that would not be an issue & Dusty told me he was available. When I got there, he was nowhere to be found -- I did end up finding him a 5-10 minutes later working on his car, but that didnt bother me in the least. We went in the shop and I started to explain what I wanted -- in all honesty, I thought it was something that was extremely simple (in fact, I went to 2 Chairs in Dallas the same night and Randy banged out a beautiful piece -- no problem). Just like the last time, I started to explain what I wanted (granted I did explain it somewhat poorly) & within a few seconds, he was already shaking his head and saying it couldnt be done. I had literally only uttered a few sentences and he was already shutting me down. Perhaps he really couldnt do what I wanted, but that is not the point -- he was just so unhelpful, unpleasant & just seemed that he didnt want to work with me no matter what I said. Again, I just felt like I wasnt even close to a priority and that he had somewhere more important to be -- it was St. Patricks Day, so maybe that was true. Just to show the difference in the attitudes of the other employees, Bob was actually nice enough to stop in the middle of a tattoo, apologize that he couldnt fit me in that night, took a picture of my shoulder to run it through some tattoo software he had & offered to do whatever he could for me when he had a free appointment. Bob was already busy & he was still willing to help and go out of his way for a repeat client -- polar opposite of Dustys attitude and the way he treats clients.Like I said, it is sad because I like the place & most of the people, but due to these experiences with Dusty, I could not foresee myself ever giving Iron Ink any more of my business...

Just got a great tattoo by Jorge, his station was clean and he took great care in making his tools and surface area were clean. Made me feel comfortable and making sure that I was okay. I think I will keep him as my tattoo artist for all future tattoos!!! Thanks.
