Kebabs to go is surprisingly delicious. You walk in and you start sweating because they are cooking your meat on a grill right in front of you. I always get the chicken and steak - I wasnt a big fan of the kobida. The sides have always been great - my fav is the salad and spinach so far - but everything else Ive tried has been great.10/10 would eat a again and again
A dear friend brought me food after having my baby and it was so good that I had to ask where she ordered from. Then I forgot the name. Then we found it as we were craving it and looking at good reviews for Mediterranean take out.Let this review be added to the bunch/stack as this place deserves recognition for tasty spices and fresh/healthy feeling helpings.I always order falafel, salad, and rice. It’s spot on for a serving with a little more the next day. My husband gets the chicken and potatoes. The spices are magic though! It’s one of our favorite date night takeout restaurants and they’re consistent enough to say they’ve got high standards.A word to the wise, they are very busy making plates (that’s a fun option). So order by app and you can pick up smoothly.Baklava is also good, but a smaller serving for the price.
Great food, friendly staff. Like most places these days, it took a little longer for the food to be prepared, but that might be because this place is popular.
They cancelled the order without letting me know. Closed the location early and have the audacity to say just cancel the order. Amex even charged me for it! Have fun with those 30 bucks and the food you thieves. Never going back!
I ordered food from UberEats an hour ago. I was highly disappointed in what I received. A beef kabob is apparently not a steak kabob, but ground beef not even on a stick, just a strip of cooked ground beef-who would’ve thought? The description on Uber eats gives no indication whatsoever that you will be receiving ground beef OR steak for that matter. Having never ordered from this restaurant before, I was beyond disappointed and literally disgusted when I saw my food. I was given sides I would never order on my own because I didn’t “modify a selection under notes”-again-as this is my first time ordering, how would I know to do this? And SECONDLY, the dolmas I ordered have a manufacture date of 4-3-21. I ate dolmas that were EIGHT DAYS OLD!!! This is completely unacceptable, a health risk and quality concern at minimum. Why is this restaurant selling eight day-old food?!???? I’m appalled and literally disgusted and grossed out. I just threw the entire order away after I saw the manufacture date. That sent me over the edge. This restaurant will NEVER get my business again and the lady I spoke to when I called to complain was as helpful as a piece of notebook paper. Beyond Irritated.
This is a mixed review because I love the food.Literally, only one person out of the 4 behind the counter wore their mask properly the entire time I was waiting for a pickup order. One guy had his mask hanging from on ear most of the time. The lady and other guy never covered their nose at all. How many hundreds of thousands of Americans have to die before this is taken seriously?!?!?!That being said, this place literally has the best gyros in the city so once they learn to put their masks on properly THE ENTIRE TIME you should give them a try.PS. - This particular location really needs to dust their ceiling and the fans. GROSS.
Flavorful and fresh! Would recommend that the menu alerts you that the kebabs come with tsatsiki on them. I would prefer them without. Delicious grilled veggies!!
Feels like Ive been here quite a few times now, and everything has been pretty good. With how small the portions are on salmon and lamb, I probably wouldnt be getting those kabobs again. I will definitely be going back.
Kebabs is not only tasty awesome food, its owned and operated by a Super, friendly, awesome family oriented guy(Pete) that has a super family team. This place proves Team work to be successful. Keep up the Good job my friends over at Kebabs
I always get the rib-eye plate with salad and rice and it never disappoints! So full of flavor 🤤
I have eaten at the Belt Line Rd/Irving location twice & enjoyed my food immensely both times. Both the young ladies who greet you & prepare your food are awesome, fast, friendly & accommodating. I live in Fort Worth & just had them put sauce on the side so food wasnt soggy by the time I got home. I highly recommend this restaurant & do try their regular Humus as they make it in house. I will keep eating here...
I have given 5 stars earlier now I am here to provide the feedback based on my recent experience. I tell them to add onions to the order but they wouldn’t and still charge me like for every plate I order. I order for my family and on a whole they charge me fir all the plates without adding onions and I think the person taking the order wouldn’t pass the message or something and this has happened quite few times. Every time I order to go I get disappointed as to how the order does not come through as requested. If I ask everything on it but they would give me all sauces on the side. I waited enough to observe before I come here and wrote this in the review. They need to take order and pass on to the people properly so they pack it accordingly. VERY Disappointed
Awesome experience. I ordered DoorDash from Beltline branch of Kebabs To Go and food was filled with red peppers and only had small portion of chicken. Took the food to MacAcrthur branch and staff was gracious enough to take it back and replace it with larger portions without red peppers. Great service. Highly recommend going to their MacArthur branch.
The food is great - if you can get it. Service takes forever every time and they don’t answer the phones. There is practically no way to order without going in person and waiting at least half an hour. On top of that, their service people are very snippy and rude. Disappointing.
I love their food have been eating there twice a week for past 2 years. Jon is very helpful and always creates a friendly environment. Their service is quick. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the only problem is they never answer their phone when i have to place my order and i know i can place it online as well but i pay with cash so at times i have to wait there while it’s being prepared.
They were helpful with my selection. Food was delicious only thing is l wanted 1 chicken 1 beef Kebob. But it was still good. Have to go back for chicken.
One of my favorites place! Food is so tasty! Get chicken and salmon kabob with rice and chickpeas!
Great flavor but barely gave any chicken on the chicken plate. For 10 bucks there should be more than 3.5 cubes of chicken.
Wow- what a great neighborhood restaurant - to - go! Everything cooked fresh as you wait!
The build is connected to a 7 eleven has station and has a little patio to its left. The staff was friendly and helpful especially Hasad, he help me place my order and advise me on the different spices as well as side options. I order a chicken kebab plate w/ potatoes n spinach. Also had an additional side of veggie that included jalapenos, tomatoes and onions. To top it off with cayenne pepper, it was delicious and quite fulfilling. Its a must try.
Their food literally made me say: OH MYYY GOOOOD!! It’s just amazing! It has so much taste in it! You have to try it!
Two stars because the food is good, but the last FOUR times I have been here they have been completely out of hummus. Twice I have placed pickup orders including hummus, and when I arrive they ask me to switch out for another dip/spread. I understood the first few times, but after my fourth visit in a row unable to get hummus I have become very frustrated. They need to be better prepared to fulfill online orders, or switch to a system they can update when out of stock on an item. I shouldn’t be able to place orders for an item it seems they never have in stock.
Solid customer service, and the food was delicious. Servings are massive and theres a lot of options on the menu. Dont think youll be eating indoors thats not an option- hense the name kabobs to go!
This place is amazing! Everything I’ve tried here is just delicious! I’m go to plate is the chicken kabobs with brown rice and chickpeas, don’t forget the spicy sauce! Wow just wow!
This place used to be very good. Food still tastes good but their service and quantity of meat has been deteriorated. We ordered beef koobideh. were were disappointed to see the size of kabab itself. It is very small and we felt end up filling our stomach with rice and salad. Meat was there barely. I think this is become a normal trend now across many mom and pop food places where prices have been increased and quantity have been reduced. They also now reduced amount of dressings they put specially that cilantro dressing etc.. Cost saving become their main concentration now.I think they have to look into this very seriously.I wonder if others had the same experience of it is just us.Speak up if you share my concerns and observations so owner knows our feelings.
This place is so hit or miss but today was a huge miss. Depending on who prepares the food, it’s either like the best ever or barely edible. Today I ordered mild and got hot, the chickpeas were just dry with none of that awesome red sauce, and they went crazy on the red spice (explaining the heat) with none of the green sauce. I need to start paying attention to who is working when I make my order because it was so bad today I couldn’t even finish it. The people working there are always rude, but I was willing to accept that when the food was better.
This place is so great I have been coming here to eat every weekend. The food is so delicious. I like the chicken kebab, rice, potatoes, chickpeas, salad. Please open more locations you are great. Come to Aubrey TX.
Was looking hard for a good Mediterranean place, and thankfully found an amazing one. Best chicken koobideh and gyro in dallas. Only downside is that they only do takeout.
I would review it as 0 if I wanted to. I ordered online and couldn’t customize my order, I then called them 3 times and they didn’t pick up. When I got there the worker was angry at me and asked me why I did not call. I showed him my phone log showing that I did in fact call not once but 3 times. He then got mad at me trying to say that they were busy and making it seem like my fault! I will NEVER go there again!
Excellent food. The plate option is bang for the buck with kebab, rice and choice of sides. The eggplant side is exceptional.
The absolute best food.... I get the salmon plate. Flavors pop
Tastes Good, Lamb could have been more softer and juicier. Chicken could have been cooked bit well. Menu is bit confusing as we have to ask them how many pieces in each kabobs.
For the money you pay, the quality is impressive, I liked gyro and beef kobida,
Been coming here for 5+ years, and its consistently amazing. I tried the baklava for the first time the other day and it was SO good. My favorites are the beef kobida, eggplant, rice, and potatoes. I recommend trying those if this is your first time. They serve pretty large portions of sides and I always have leftovers.
Veggies and Starches is fresh, meat cooked right upon your order, your choice of mild or spicy sauces. Try the plate, its worth the wait! The Gyros are mouthwatering! Your choice if lamb, chicken or beef. Its a vegetarian feast! Convenient location off North MacArthur near Coppell. Ask for Hasan and show this review!
Delicious world star cusine EverytimeTheir recipe is worth every cent if I could imitate I would but its distinctive wholesome food in every aspect. Get you some
Like their food, seems like mostly cooked in olive oil.
This rating is because of how they packed the kabobs. Taste and service is amazing. Kabobs are too good and very tasty. But if you are vegetarian and have asked for one veg (paneer) and one chicken. Good luck funding out which is which. Nothing tells you the difference. You have eat and then decide which is yours.
So I called to place an order; these guy picked up the phone and slammed it down. And subsequent calls was engaged, I guess these guys don’t like people placing calls over phone ?Dam guys take a chill pill
Great place to eat ethintic afghan food with warmth welcome from everyone, especially the owner himself he is a very friendly and nice person with great customer service. It is worth to mention about the prices. Very reasonable for an excellent food.
Food is delicious. Well seasoned and very flavorful. Lots of option.
This place was amazing better than I ever imagined. You must try it and you will feel the same. Ill be back for sure!
Nice food, fresh tasting and good pricing.
The rib-eye steak kebabs are the best 🤤
These people are extremely rude and impatient and not helpful to DoorDash drivers or anyone picking up their to go orders for someone who has never been inside the store a first impression was a very horrible I couldn’t find a manager there’s obviously not a corporate office to contact otherwise I will contact it but definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone of color. One of the employees complained to me about being busy and tired WITHOUT A MASK as if that warranted being rude to paying customers and also as if we all are not working during this time of the pandemic if you are working a job you should do it to your best of your abilities it’s horrible service
Simply the best. Great value for money in terms of taste and proportions(if you’re going rice)
Absolutely rude customer service. It took 1 hour for the food to reach the table after the order is placed. When enquired, they ignored me completely. I would have left the place if not paid in advance.
The kebobs are delicious. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Portions are large. Service is courteous. Great place for a quick meal or takeout.
Kebabs to Go is a delight! I dont have a photo because I couldnt wait to dig into my food!I had the chicken and veggie kebab with potatoes, rice, and some hummus and pita bread on the side, and every single thing was delicious. The white yogurt sauce tied the meat and veggies together very nicely. Definitely very satisfying and splendid meal.Ill definitely be ordering again soon!
Nice place for healthy food. Try falafel wrap.
Lamb kebabs were very hard the last time I ate here.
Delicious but always double check your to-go orders!!
Awesome & Delicious Chicken Kobida with White Rice & Chickpeas. They grill items fresh when you order. Must Try spices.
It is one of the best place to have a fresh and flavourful kabab in the town. Nice staff a d friendly environment. Foods are cheap as compared to the near by fastfood as well as healthy too. They maintain a nice social distancing and dine is not available indoor but have a small numbers of tables outside to have some patio kinda feel.
Very delicious food the kebab plate with salad and brown rice extra saucy with two skewers one salmon and one chicken kabob a highly recommend this plate!!
They stopped taking phone orders and they hung up when you call them and cost of food is very high when you order using apps
We ordered the 10 meal meal plan they offer online, and were pleasantly surprised to find it was still a great size portion. There was some confusion about our order, for we were missing 2 meals and a separate order of just meat, but the manager had the staff prepare them quickly and fresh in front of us and we were on our way. We love the food, its so good!
Good taste but for the price the amount of chicken is very less.
Went here for the 1st time and had the salmon kebab on kebuli rice, it was absolutely phenomenal! The guys working there are very nice, plate portions are huge, and flavor is astounding. 10/10 will be going again and recommending to everyone I know!!!
Food was alright. Was looking for a genuine German doner kebab and was not very satisfied. Note prices online are higher than in-store!
Really good gyros and platters! I usually get the platter with Gyro meat and salad.
Nice lil gem. Good food great price
Amazing staff, great food.
This place is a little out of the way but well worth the drive. Everything is unbelievably flavorful and overall decadent
The lamb gyro and falafel wrap was amazing . Must try wrap in Irving
Good food but awful serviceAlways gets the wrong order Or incorrect count whether you place it via phone, app or in personNabina was our server today who gave wrong sides !Only suggestion- double check your every order before you pick up2 stars are only because food is still good
Precautions- Previous review is correct, workers dont wear mask, male employee with long hair walked in and entered kitchen without cleaning his hands.Food- its hit and miss. Sometimes there is too much oil, sometimes food is bland, spices are missing, once food had so much white sauce it was impossible to eat. Falafel burnt and bitter, cheese hard and chewy like rubber.Good place gone bad
