Good place for Malayalee Grocery. The Management got changed and that makes a huge difference. The previous owner ( The stinky big fat guy) amd his wife were so rude and there was one time they double charged me for things that I didnt buy and the lady refused to reimburse. And i stopped shopping there. Now they sold the store to someone else and they are very nice people. it looks very clean and non-smelly.
Usually go to Patel brothers or India imports. Only go here for fried snack items only.
If you are a malayali, this place has the groceries you are looking for. Has most indian grocery items too. They also have snack and lunch items packed and ready to go. I havent tried their food but Ive heard its good
This place really stepped it up In the last year! We had our onam sadya from here this year and It was great... Authentic Kerala flavors and great quality, not usually one to order out when it comes to my naadan Chore and curry but this place was top notch and above standard. Keep up the good work!
Ordered biryani, chili chicken and some snacks. All of them were bad. The snacks were super oily.
He act like he owns patel brothers. Worst customer service.
I see some negative reviews. Dont believe those. Its a beautiful place. New owners as good as the previous owners. I saw one person wrote people jumped in front of them in the line. I seen that many times with previous owners too. Its just normal among malayalis. Its not the owners fault. The new gentleman and the lady working there is wonderful people. Its the best place for malayalis. Support our community and stop the complaint. Even Walmart got its weakness.
We ordered 3-4 dishes today from Triveni. The fish fry was old. It was stale fish used for fry. We paid 4 usd per piece and a total of 25 usd just for fish fry. The cake was not even baked properly. Very disappointed with the quality.
With the change in management the service at this place for pickup has become pathetic.1. They commit to a time and never have things ready at their committed time.2. More often than not the food orders placed would have missing items. The last time they missed an item and asked me to drive all the way back ( around 35 miles ) to collect the money. This place is not recommended especially when you have several pick options with much better customer service.
Firstly, I want to understand why it has such high rating. I live in Tyler and went to this place because it was nearest to airport. This is the most useless grocery store I have seen . The shelves were not stocked and there were hardly any fresh vegetables in stock.Waste of time.
We get all Indian food items and also very good dealings.
The food was amazing. Porotta, Chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani were really good.
Normally i buy pothichoru and kizhi porotta on weekends from here this place.this time i I bought kaada biriyani for a change.very tasty.Meen curry and all kerala items are very tasty and authentic!!!! We always buy food form this place for years !!!!
Be careful.. they sell expired items. Check the date of expiry while purchasing. Their frozen meat turned out staled and smelly. I dont recommend this place.
This review is for the food we got from this place. The worst biriyani, the worst chilli chicken and the worst fish curry i ever had. Horrible.
Great finds with reasonable prices!
I had been shopping at Triveni Indian store and utilizing their catering service for various occasions such as cottage prayer meetings, birthday gatherings and even when guests arrives at home. Their snacks and kerala food is awesome. They offer a variety of healthy, fresh and tasty foods. I highly recommend their service and friendliness. Give it a try and enjoy!!
I have revisited this place recently and I am making my previous 4 star to a ZERO!!! I was surprised how it went to downhill in a short period of time. This entire place is disoriented, it SMELLED so bad and I had to get out quick. The prices have increased and the person behind the counter gave me an attitude!! I spoke to someone who know this place well and she told me that the Management has changed.Such a disaster and I will not recommend this place to anyone anymore.----------------------My previous Review---------------------------------------------Great Kerala grocery store in the Dallas suburbs! Very clean, well-organized, tasty snacks, great customer service. Most of the Indian grocery places that you go, you never get to see staff interacting friendly with you. This place is different. Prices are slightly high compared to Patel Brothers but I will trade that in for friendly customer service.
My go to place in Dallas for snacks and biriyani.
I was waiting in line for a good while the lady behind a couple of us people in line jump the line and they helped her out before they helped us out and the food was not the same
A good place for quick kerala groceries, snack, frozen fish from Kerala, meat. We also get biriyani, beef curries, chicken curries, fish curries etc. Snacks like cutlet, puffs, vada, sukhiyan etc.
Good place. HOWEVER I HAVE A MAJOR CONCERN ABOUT FROZEN FISHES IN PACKETS FROM INDIA. IT HAS BEEN TREATED WITH BAD CHEMICALS TO PRESERVE LIKE FORMALIN WHICH IS VERY BAD FOR HEALTH. This is not an issue with the grocery shop BUT THE IMPORTER SHOULD BE CAREFUL. WE WILL REPORT TO FDA IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND THEY WILL LOSE THE LICENSE !
I have recently ordered food for my family function. Had a good experience, my friends liked the food and gave good feedback .. food also less in cost compare to other Indian stores .. completely satisfied..I recommended this stores to my friends too..
Good place for Kerala items. Will get quick bites as well straight from the kitchen. Take away is also available with different choices.Customer Service was awesome
Great one stop shop for all kerala items. They have frozen food and snacks and Fresh food to go or to eat. Staff are friendly and courteous.
A small malayalee store with items stored especially for people from the small south Indian state of Kerala. Check out their eatable especially beef cutlets. Its awesome.
If the closing time is 8pm, then be open till 8pm not 7:40pm.People, take your money elsewhere where business can adhere to its own rules. And often their products are expired. Dont waste your money here. There are other Malayali stores in DFW.
There is a small diner inside the store. They serve sleected famous kerala dishes. The taste is really. My colleagues love this place. One star less for the ambience.
Check the expiration dates before you buy. Ive had 2 instances where I bought dry good from them there were expired by months and over a year respectively. As a result I no longer go to this grocer.
The best place to get sea food because if you want to try Indian fishes this is the best place around DFW area. U can also get Kerala Snacks too. I highly recommend
My husband and I enjoy the fish curry, the rice, and all the little snacks they have at the register, the workers are very friendly and helpful.
Best place for Kerala products. Kerala cuisines are very good. Reasonable price for catering orders and timely delivery. Staff is very friendly.
They had my hard to find sauce indulgent.Professional courteous and a very clean store!I will be back.
I say this.Very clean.Very friendly.Good people.Helping mentality.Very good n vegetarian dishes.Good place to sit and eat masala dosa
We ordered Parotta for our kids birthday party. It was delicious and everyone liked it . It got over in few mins .. 5 starts for Parotta
Hidden gem! Most authentic south indian food in the DFW area.
Good stuff from Kerala. A bit pricey but all items are fresh and tasty. Fees made dished are also available for takeout.
I don’t recommend this place for grocery purchase compared to Patel brothers. They charge you more. For example they are selling kawans chapathi which is sold in Patel brothers for $4.99 in selling at Thriveni for $6.99. They are looting customersNever go there 😡😡😡😡😡
One of the best Kerala grocery store and food carry out location. I love the hot Kerala smacks like parippu vada, beef cutlets, sukhiyan, bonda, pazham pori etc. Love the home baked plum cake. Shelves are clean and neatly arranged.
Awesome staff and great food!
Well stocked, well organised & reasonable price !
Good place to get Kerala food items. They also have takeout items from Kerala cuisine and snacks
Its really nice and everything is very easy to find.
Average Indian Grocery store in Dallas. They also have rice, Kappa, fish, beef etc. Nothing great but the normal one.
Best south/north Indian grocery shop and chat place around irving area.
The prepared Kerala food was nice, although I havent tasted all of it. Sabhu is a nice guy, always smiling. The grocery store is also good with lot of Kerala stuff.I would definitely go back there.
Excellent Kerala Food and Service. A Real Malayalee Experience in Dallas, Texas.
Great place to shop for south indian food. Great customer service.
Very friendly including that Mexican guy also very nice atmosphere
You get most of the Kerala items here .. Very good customer service too !
Small place friendly staff and a great collection of kerala groceries
Good place for Kerala items. Will get quick bites as well straight from Kerala kitchen. Take away is also available for biriyani, DISA and oter items.
Customer service is great and they have a lot of good South Indian groceries.
We bought goat biriyani and its really tasty.
Before buying any products from this grocery shop...please do check the expiration dates.. just making a fool of indian people in this shop.
Very friendly excellent customer service
The rice got from this place was very old and not eatable.i dont recommend this place
Excellent 1 stop shop for all your South Indian Kerala needs
Looks like a typical Kerala style shop. Got almost all we needed. Not sure about vegetables which we werent looking. Its a little far away from my home so a frequent visit is tough but might visit once in while.
Very nice owner. Needs to verify business.
Another good quick stop and go
Food taste and quality has gone down these days
Wonderful taste. Friendly behaviour of staff.
