I purchased a set of iron doors earlier this year and pretty much the whole experience was good and as expected. We didn’t uncrate the doors for a few weeks and builder had them installed while we were on vacation. Once we took a closer look there were imperfections between the glass. I am sure the glass could have been swapped out with little issue. I reached out to Eddie at WID and sent pictures as well. He was not happy with what he saw and sent me new doors without any hesitation as he said this was NOT normal. Absolutely hassle free and they stood behind their product and exceeded my expectations. This is the type of online service we expect but rarely get from people with such a large purchase. I will recommend Wholesale Iron Doors and glad I found them on line.

We ordered 4 doors from you guys and even though the wait was long, it was totally worth it. We have a 1960s renovated home and it has transformed the look entirely. The doors’ quality is exceptional with a price that’s very much affordable. Eric was recommended for installation and his work is the best we’ve had for any project we’ve done to our house. My husband was relieved because I knit pick at every little detail but this time I was just extremely impressed by his work and professionalism. Thank you for making this worth the 6 month wait!!!

What a great experience. Completely custom. We had original doors - from our house built in 1992. Definitely time for an upgrade. A friend of mine bought his doors at I Love that Door. After much research - my wife and I decided to make our purchase from Wholesale Iron Doors. David, - one of the owners, is extremely knowledgeable about the doors - I learned so much in the process - (what business do you ever go to and talk to the owner?) We ended up replacing all 4 of our front / back entrance doors. The quality is amazing / the price points are great. We used Gavin of Floors and Doors for the installation. What an incredible finished product.

Well unfortunately unlike the other posts on this site I did not have the same pleasant experience. I worked with Eddie Salas and he did great on setting up the initial door set up but when it came to pricing out the door I was left with anything but satisfaction. I sent him over an email for another door company with a better price. He knocked 100 dollars off but was still several hundred dollars over the other door. He said that was the best he could do without an official quote. So I obtained an official quote and sent it back over he then knocked off an additional 125 but was still a few hundred dollars higher. I called him to get some clarification since they advertise no one beats there prices. He let me know he had beat the door prices but there handles were stainless and his were iron and more quality. (Keep in mind stainless is 5x more expensive than traditional steel). I left this experience feeling that instead of being honest and up front that he could not beat the price he tried manipulate other items. I would like to say it was just poor communication but even if thats the case I will not be using them for my doors.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! My husband and I have been shopping around for iron doors for awhile and we were shocked by the prices of the other door companies. Thankfully my husband found WID and they made our custom iron door purchase a reality for a fraction of the price. Our whole experience was seamless. We worked with Brandon and he was quick with his CAD drawings, correspondence and we appreciated his knowledge of the doors. They do not install the doors but they referred several companies and we decided to go with Legacy Doors. We had a great experience with them as well. The door itself was a custom, so we didnt know how it was going to come out. Luckily, it came out perfectly, just like we wanted and we were so impressed with the quality.

My wife and I went into the showroom to check out their doors a couple months back. We found one that we really liked and worked with Brandon to get a custom size fit to our house. We ordered it and checked out a couple installers.Got it installed and we absolutely love it. Had a minor snag with the installer (WID does not install themselves) and even though they dont, they got the issue fixed for me. Great customer service, highly recommended!

I visited the store last August. I liked one of the doors but they did not have that in stock and I was told it would need to be custom ordered which would take 3 months. I went ahead and placed the order paying 500 dollar advance. Unfortunately It took about 5 months for the door to arrive in their warehouse. I had my contractor pick the door and install it. Came to know that the door Jamb size was not a usual size for an entry door and I could see 3-4 inch gap in the trim/frame outside. Also the door which I received was not the same color I saw in shop floor and ordered back then. I called them to see why there were these issues and was told that they did not get the right Jamb size from me during ordering and the color noted in the order was a different one than what I had seen/photographed from shop floor sample. The replacement/retrofit kit would take 90 more days.My main door was already taken down and I had pay my contractor a lot more to get the trim/frame trimmed out to match the incorrect door. Plus the door is still looks a black door vs the bronze one I ordered which doesnt match with all the other exterior painting I had painted based on bronze color. The sales rep tried helping me initially but my case later went cold and after follow up for a while, I was told nothing could be done now.May be they can spray paint the door with a bronze color.I was taken aback.I ended up spending a lot more than what I had planned for initially. I wish I went with the big box stores or other reputed stores with whom I would have paid almost similar price but would have been attended with more care and better quality product - And more importantly less stress and headache throughout the process as they would have stood by me w.r.t service and getting it corrected.

I was looking for metal/iron double doors for an interior installation. She immediately started helping me come up with a design. Really enjoyed the show room getting to see the numerous door options . I also worked with Brian who was a tremendous help. Had installer come to take measurements. They made sure my order was exactly as specfied before placing order. I could not be more pleased with the entire process. The hardest part was the time to make my doors since it was a custom order. Builders price not like the others that charge retail almost double (I am a penny pincher, I checked everywhere.) Plus they held the door until the installer could pick it up since he is so busy. *** LACK OF INTEGRITY*** NEGLIGENCE******I WOULD NOT ORDER DOORS OR DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN***Ordered doors August 2018. We were told it would take approximately 3 months to custom make these doors, as they were coming from China. Checked on the doors in October and found out the doors were never ordered.The exact door and transom sizes were given to the Iron Door representative. We were told they would scale down the door and transom sizes, approx. an inch all the way around to ensure the doors and transom would fit the current openings.Because the representatives incompetence the scaling down of door and transom were never done. They did not do their due diligence, as they are in the business to make sure everything is correct and exact, prior to placing the order for the doors and transom.Customer service is extremely poor, made repeatedly phone calls, emails and texts trying to get updates, many of which were never returned.Finally got the doors late Feb, a total of 7 months from the original order date. Due to the lack of competency on their part, the door and transom did not fit (too big). We are having to incur additional expenses to the tune of approximately $1750, as all entrance bricks had to be removed.Door entrance had to be reconstructed and new brick had to be installed.Sales representative indicated additional cost uncured would be compensated after she talked to the owner but he refused to do that.Requested of the owner to share half the cost of the additional expenses we have incurred but he refused to compensate us for anything.THE BOTTOM LINE… I WOULD PREFER TO HAVE A ROOT CANAL, THEN TO DEAL WITH THIS BUSINESS AGAIN!!!

I refered a customer to this place and even though she got the door she wanted i think she rather have a root canal then buying from them again. No call backs, invoice wrong, no easy way to pay and my favorite, someone was trying to send some information about paying them via email. Well that didnt work, solution= texting. Here is the kicker, taking a picture of the handwritten not in a horrible (for a female) handwriting is the stroke of a genius. Probably never occurred to her to just text the whole thing. Someone should promote her because she is clearly not challenged enough.

I did a lot of research prior to finding Wholesale Iron Doors in Dallas. We live near by in Louisiana so we made a day trip to the show room. After talking to one of the owners, He made some very helpful suggestions after looking at photos of our existing and very boring front door. We ended up ordering a custom designed 8 foot double door with a transom above. These doors have transformed our house. The ordering and drawing approval process was made easy by Mariah and the doors actually came in faster than I was expecting.You really can’t beat the quality of these doors or the price and service.

We just purchased an amazing double door for our home. We have been very impressed with the service that we have received & the quality of the doors. Russell & Mariah were both amazing and very helpful and patient while we were trying to determine if these doors would work to be retrofitted in our home. Russell & Mariah both took a lot of time to help us come up with a plan to make it possible to install the almost 8 foot doors even though our ceiling is also 8 foot. They also recommended an installer that drove the 6 hour round trip to Abilene. He was excellent and was more reasonable than the bids we received locally. I would highly recommend this company.
