Ray did several tests to identify the issue causing the A/C unit failure. Unfortunately all the freon escaped and the damage was in the service line inside the wall which will require another visit to repair. Ray did everything he could to see if there was a way to get it working again even temporarily. We reviewed some options he presented and decided to wait till the lines could be replaced. I appreciated his concern for our comfort.

Great company to work with. We purchased our air conditioner from them a couple of years ago and they are so easy to work with. Its easy to get on their schedule, the technicians are all very professional and friendly. They arrive when they say they will and they always explain what the issues are and how they are going to get them fixed. I would highly recommend them!

My AC unit was not cooling. Ray thoroughly checked all the air filters and air flow coming in from the air vents. My refrigerant level was low and the price to add more refrigerant was very reasonable. Will definitely call Spencer if my AC breaks down again.

The technician was capable and nice, but he did not contact me regarding the type of thermostat he was going to use to replace the old one. He also took the broken thermostat even though it was still under warranty and could have been returned. When I called to speak to a supervisor, I spent 3 days talking back and forth with the admin workers. The admin staff was very nice, but I was never able to speak directly to a supervisor. The issue was not resolved, and Im moving on to any other AC company for my properties.

We have been doing business with Spencer for 20+ years. Excellent office and service personnel who are responsive and effective. We needed a new system a few years ago and Spencer made recommendations, upgraded our vents to maximize the system effectiveness and have kept the system running well. Phone calls are answered, questions get answers, problems get fixed. Couldnt ask for much more.

The experience started off quite rocky. I was to receive a callback but that never happened. I called on a Monday and finally a technician was her on Thursday, 4 days later. I needed a part so it was late Friday afternoon before it was fixed.Charley was wonderful. A knowledgeable technician, very respectful and kind. He explained everything he was doing, which I appreciated.There are just problems with setting up appointments. Hopefully it wont happen again.

After 3 other companies failed to come out to fix our A/C, Charlie was a breath of fresh air. He agreed to come right out to fix our unit. He was professional and personable. When it became obvious that one unit need to be replaced, he contacted the Operations Manager who discussed our options. We were impressed with the entire Spencer experience from beginning to end. David was awesome! I had a huge temperature swing from downstairs to upstairs and he found issues contributing to the problem and proposed solutions that could get it more comfortable. David was very thorough in conducting AC maintenance. We inquired about the possibility of adding dehumidification to our system. He advised us that furnaces had ability but needed to find out more about of it could be wired to provide dehumidification. He will research this and get back to us. He was patient and very thorough!

AC blowing hot air and house temperature at 83 at 6:20 pm. I called Spencer’s Air Conditioning, Charlie arrived in less than 30 minutes and cool air was blowing before 8 pm! The house temperature has already dropped 4 degrees!

David is a seasoned veteran with a wealth of knowledge and was helpful beyond the problem we called about (which was fixed correctly).

We had used Metro Heating and Air and they were out twice and claim they fixed the heater. We were getting heat upstairs but not downstairs. One hour after they left the system quit working and was out on the coldest weekend of the winter so far. We called Spencer and a super nice repairman worked fifteen minutes and fixed it for good by simply replacing a broken fuse and loose wire. THAT IS THE BEST SERVICE ANY HOMEOWNER CAN EVER RECEIVE. I had called yesterday to setup todays appointment with David at 8Am. When nobody showed up I called the office. I was told the appointment was not scheduled till tomorrow. I explained that the appointment was to have already happened. They rescheduled with different person. They send out different person. When I paid. I asked for receipt. He told me it would be emailed to me. I did not receive a receipt nor do I have proof where it will cover next summer service.

David did great today on my routine A/C check up visit. He discovered air flow in the A/c closet where a box that housed the duct work had come loose. He fixed it and checked the rest of the unit, he also found where two vents were closed off. I was very happy with his work and willingness to go beyond and get the job done right. But all the technitians have been great.

Jamal installed a UV light filter for me. Hes always on time, friendly, fast and cleans up after himself. I love working with Spencer and can always count on them.

Cant recommend this company enough! Installed and replaced 3 HVAC units in my home last year. Had a little trouble with my downstairs furnace not heating to temp once it started getting cold but they came out within hours each time I called them. Took a few attempts to diagnose the issue (turns out it was some break in the ductwork underneath my home which was hidden below the garage floor in an area no one would have ever have needed to look at) but Justin and his team were like bulldogs and wouldnt let it go until they completely resolved the problem!

Communicated when he would arrive. He wore his mask during his time in the house. Clearly explained what needed to be repaired and repaired in a timely manner (about 90 mins.). There were issues with electronic payment and David asked that we make payment over the phone via the office. Always professional service with Spencer Air & Conditioning.

Horrible, no transparency in the pricing charged us $270.00 and the heat is still now working. Jamal the technician was not up to the mark. Came back to fix and still couldn’t figure out what was wrong and quoting an outrageous price for replacements. Heat is still not working! 👎🏼

This company is the best in Irving Texas, fast, friendly, professional, and they get the job done like pros.

Spencer techs always call 10-15 minutes before arrival per my request. Jamal performed semi-annual maintenance & thoroughly cleaned the air filters on our ductless Carrier unit. He even brought a clean water hose vs. using our yard hose since our hose had stagnant water in it. Spencer technicians give us top notch service, every time!

We are very happy with the service that we received. Justin was very knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. The installers were prompt and did a great job explaining the system. Overall a great experience.

Rudy showed up on time as promised. He was so nice and kept me informed along the way during the process. He was very thorough and took great care as he navigate our yard and home during the service call. He was knowledgeable and gave us tips to keep our system working at is best. Will certainly use them again (we signed up for their annual maintenance program to keep us on track and hopefully prevent costly repairs).

Ac stopped on Sunday morning. We called and a tech came out in about an hour.David was a great guy...knew his business. The system is under warranty...two years old...installed by Spencer air. They did an awesome job on the install.The tech had the part so all good. The capacitor was bad.The part was covered under warranty.My only issue Is that paid a weekend charge for the warranty part. No happy about that, otherwise excellent experience...
